After getting coffee next door, we were attracted to this wonderful nursery garden. We were blown away by all the holiday gifts and ideas in the back area. Everything you would need for Christmas decoration, it's all in here. There were so many to see. The price was similar when you shopped in the mall. This is a magical place! Visiting Bayview Farm and Garden was the absolute highlight of my day in Langley, and if I were to go back to Langley I would make this my first and last stop. It is absolutely stunning and seasonal- they had a full fall display, mini pumpkin patch, hay bails.... Tons of photo oops and we could see that they were setting up for Christmas too! The plant selection is delightful and expansive. Lots of classic options, alongside some fun mysteries and rare plants. I spent most of my time in the gift section, which was expertly curated. There were so many incredible local goods- it was hard for me to not buy one of everything! Their shop is a wonderful way to discover new small businesses and the owners take a lot of pride in curating it. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable. I didn't see a single employee without a wide smile on their face, and had a great conversation with the man who checked me out once I had picked out my treats and goods. The pricing is fair, the selection is vast, and the whole place just feels absolutely magical. Plan to spend at least an hour here! read more

Bayview Farm and Garden is hands down my favorite nursery in Washington State I would say. They have it all! A cute cafe next door, indoor and outdoor plants, huge selection of seeds, and during warmer months, they have a cute lil farmer market on Saturdays! (I think Saturdays, I could be wrong). They had a good sale going this past weekend too, 25% off perennials, shrubs, and what not. Things I have bought here: - seed packets (they carry a huge variety from Ed Hume, to Deep Harvest, to Baker Creek, and many other brands!) - houseplants - I just bought a rosemary plant and a poppy plant this weekend from here - fertilizers - rooting powder - shallot sets - plant supports Price wise, it's not the cheapest nursery I have been too, but it's not the most expensive either. You can find good deals here and there. I could spend hours here! read more

Stopped by well on the island one weekend and was very happy we did. The selection of plants here is rather vast. They have some great ground cover options I have not seen at other nursery's in the area. The indoor plants where almost all well taken care of. My only downsides where one of the plants we bought did not transplant well. Almost completely dead within a week. Also the staff was a bit stand offish. I saw a lot of staff well there but not one of them even said hi to us or asked if we needed help. If you know what your looking for they have a good selection but don't count on the people for help. read more

Love stopping by Bayview Garden that is such a pleasant place to shop. The staff won't bug you unless you ask for help. And when you do, everyone is just super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Aaron the conifer specialist is awesome, he helped me pick my very first plant and advised me on the right container without breaking the bank. More recently I showed pics of stressed conifers in my yard to two ladies who quickly gave me helpful advice. Last but not least, the young lady who's usually at the register is always welcoming and just exudes positivity. The selection of plants is large. Plants are in good shape and well taken care of. There's also an awesome gift shop with so many fun and colorful things. Pricing aligns with pricing on the island that's all, nothing overpriced. There's a coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch if you feel hungry. Friendly service. Looove the almond pastry I got the last time I was there and gosh now I am craving for it! read more

Bayview farm and garden has a ton of plants for you to purchase. They also have a gift shop inside that has local goodies across the island. Great gift shop for soaps, lotions, books, cards, etc. They have a lot of seeds you can purchase to grow your own flowers and plants as well as gardening equipment. The things in here are pricey, but Whidbey Island really prides in their local businesses, so I appreciate these stores. I came during the colder months so things were in bloomed, but still beautiful regardless! read more

Was just in for a visit. I was waiting at the front of the shop area, while my husband was checking out. One of the people at a register and a customer thought I was taking a photo of them, when all I was doing was typing on my phone. When I realized what they were saying, I explained that I wasn't taking a photo, but they kept speaking rudely. It was really off putting and made me uncomfortable. If my husband hadn't already paid, I would have asked him to put the merchandise back. What a yucky first impression. Be nicer. You have no idea what people are going through. read more

A place that you can probably spend an hour walking through. Although I did not stop at their bakery for anything, I did stroll through the gift shop. Many nice things for purchase and presentation was absolutely lovely. Employees were very nice and there's even a little sanctuary with indoor plants towards the back. read more

Love it here. Great spot on Whidbey to by all sorts of gifts and garden supplies. Also has a wonderful cafe for breakfast and lunch. The best time to come is during November or December when they are set up for the holidays, great ambiance and a perfect place to do holiday shopping. Behind the store, there are a few other local businesses that are great to stop in as well for food or a beer. Definitely coming back soon! read more

Friendly staff and a really cute Christmas decorations area. Although we did not find what we were looking for we enjoyed our visit and liked what we saw. I was looking for the San Juan salts popcorn blend as well as a little statuette of a raven / crow. They had a lot of other San Juan salts but not the popcorn blend. I saw a Whidbey Island local jar of honey that I considered buying but when I saw the price was close to $30 I decided to pass. They have a lot to offer and some pretty cool stuff. My only negative was the apparent high prices on some of the items. read more

This shop has really cute items inside and the guys out in the garden were very friendly and helpful but the lady at the register who rung us up was incredible rude and snippy to us for no apparent reason... first she let us stand there after she finished with her previous customer like she didn't want to ring us up and was waiting for another register to be done and call us but another worker directed us to her so we went over... then she was giving major attitude and being really bitchy when ringing up our items... which should be just a short simple transaction. Not sure what her problem was but she should find a different job that doesn't involve dealing with customers. Would have been 5 stars but left with such a sour experience. read more

My sister and I were on the island and just happened to come to this wonderful garden store. It is February, so this is not there busy season and to be honest, our trip was mainly inside to the garden shop as it was too cold to look at the plants outside. The garden gift shop is amazing...baskets, pots, candles, gardening supplies, garden shoes, seeds for planting and bulbs and your resident cat taking a nap among the pots. The people that work here are very friendly, and talkative.Beautiful pictures show what it looks like at the shop during their busy season. I will definately go back this spring and visit the outside portion to enjoy the plants and flowers. read more

This is my inspiration place as I start new projects. All the staff are very friendly, if they can't answer your question they find someone who can. I love to visit during every season so make note of what's in bloom. This is also a great place to buy gifts! Yesterday I bought three flats of basket stuffers and I can't wait to get them planted. They always have a variety of annuals, and perennials year around at a fair price. They have a large selection of indoor and outdoor pottery and statues. I bought some plants at Bayview and tried to pay with a Visa gift card. It was in a cardboard card holder with a barcode covered in clear plastic. I handed it to the clerk, she handed it back to me and told me to open it. I asked her if she could scan it through the plastic, because it wasn't easy to open. She said no I needed to open it. So I did. It was rejected. When I got home, I read the fine details, and it clearly said in bold print: To the cashier, important instructions: Do not sell if opened. I admit it was partly my fault for not reading the instructions in the first place, but she was insistent. So I went back the next day and complained. I was told there was nothing they could do about it. Bull shit. They could have reimbursed me for the $50 dollars and dealt with the visa people themselves. read more

There are few places that have this many offerings and fewer that have knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you narrow the selection down. There is a massive array of indoor plants and beautiful annuals and an even bigger selection of trees and shrubs and literally everything you can imagine outside. I bought a handful of hostas, some gorgeous dapple willows, a few fruit trees and some jasmine to spruce up our "builder grade" landscape :/ They were super friendly, very knowledgeable and even helped carry everything to our car. Went back a few days later to buy more, because obviously when it comes to plants more is always better! The only thing I don't recommend is the chai latte from the caffe there.
