I had a tiny back yard, cute and neat, but not very useful. I saw the reviews here and elsewhere…read moreand was impressed by the positive feedback given to Jumanji. I met with Jumanji and told her that I'd like to create a seating area, I needed privacy from my neighbors, and I like a riot of color, mostly purple/lavender, fuschia, white and chartreuse or gray. That's just about it. With that little bit of direction she turned my humble yard into a fairy tail garden. It's like a Monet painting! When my partner saw it he responded, "Wow!" Even my son, who, as a teenage boy, isn't the most effusive (unless you want to talk video games), commented, "The back yard looks really cool!" Jumanji gave my little yard the artist's touch. It is perfect. Jumanji's rates are reasonable and she will come back for regular maintenance, which means she will continue to watch her handy work develop and will take more care than most. Now all I need is a table and bench or chairs so I and a couple of my friends can enjoy the beauty and serenity that is my secret garden.

Connecting with Oliana Gardening was superbly serendipitous. As an interior designer and landlord,…read moremy gardens need to be both aesthetic and highly functional, and preferably mostly native. I needed a landscaping establishment that was reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable about natives, the right price, able to do both maintenance and renovations, and, this was a biggie, artistically trained. Oliana Gardening is meeting all these needs beautifully. Reliable and trustworthy means appointments are kept, communication is good, work gets finished, and my property gets cleaned and locked up as it should be. Being able to trust Oliana Gardening as I do makes my life so much easier. Jumanji really knows her native plants, and helped me figured out a scheme for a sunny front garden that I was failing miserably with on my own. I'd spoken to other people about natives before, but they either couldn't imagine an entirely native garden, or were so natives-oriented they seemed to sniff at my aesthetic needs. Jumanji supports my dual and sometimes conflicting requirements. For example, while it's stressful on sword ferns to completely cut their old fronds, we're compromising with selective trimming. The fact that Jumanji does both installations and maintenance is especially helpful because every act of maintenance from pruning to carefully placing excess leaves in the right spot all leads toward the overall garden vision. She's not going to damage anything from ignorance or mess up what is working well like my clean gravel drive by getting dirt all over it as one "gardener" did. More, Jumanji keeps teaching me new things about gardening, which makes the process fun. To me, Jumanji's greatest asset, is that is also an artist. Many companies have great plant knowledge or construction abilities, but their gardens often lack unity or artistry. I absolutely love collaborating with Oliana Gardening as one creative with another. Jumanji understands the creative process, creative angst, and "can we move it again?" Jumanji also has other equally talented colleagues, so when I wanted a border between my plants and gravel, she brought in an artist friend who can weld. Together they created a beautiful steel border and craftily installed it among carefully placed rocks to make everything look level and balanced. Last, Oliana Gardening understands my garden ambitions aren't backed by a big budget so existing plants, rocks, leaves etc. have been used to their utmost. To offset costs, we'll figure out things I can do myself, we'll work together for a bit (such as when she wrapped one of my trees with holiday lights and installed some new large rocks), or spread work out over several months. My garden has really come together since working with Oliana Gardening, and I look forward to working with the company long into the future.

After…read morebeing badly hornswoggled with Blossom Flower Delivery's Google ads that they were #1 Florist in Langley, WA, and a Top Florist for 30 years -- the explicitly promised delivery did NOT happen, and reaching customer service was a long and horrible story in itself (oh, why hadn't I come to BBB or googled reviews first!)... ... and afterwards, almost succumbing to yet another [also sponsored!] ad for Ava's Flowers being a local Langley shop (vs. Newark, Delaware, as noted in bold at the very bottom of their webpage), I then trusted blessed Yelp to help identify Langley's actual brick and mortar stores.... A Special Touch Flowers and Gifts was ranked #2 of 28, from the entire geographical region. An appropriate ranking, indeed, despite the number of reviews as only 1? (But they're ranked 4.3 stars from 12 reviews on google.) Calling too early at PDT, and hours apart, with my EST, I followed their recorded instructions to order online. While much seemed to be unwanted custom -- I later learned they stopped affiliating with either Teleflora or FTD -- I selected a pictured dish garden, chose which size, filled in what I wanted on the card, and in the Special Instructions area, explained my situation and the sad terminal diagnosis, sharing I MUST have confirmation of same day delivery availability, and to please email or call. With beloved's difficulties in either speaking and/or hearing, the living (loved) plants were my best far-away way of trying to reach out. Then, the call came, first thing, at 9 am PDT time. Wow! A real live, caring person. A real store. We discussed what would be different from what was pictured. And I received, as promised, email confirmation of delivery, when the timely delivery actually occurred. I'm confused by the A+ rating, when it says they're not BBB accredited. But I wanted to be sure to leave word at BBB (and Google and Yelp!) that you can buy from A Special Touch Flowers and Gifts with confidence! They are Special!!!

I am in the market for a new tractor but will probably go to Burlington. That's really sad as I live in Everett. Or might buy a John Deere. Just don't understand how any business can operate without excellent customer service. I only give a three as because I have loved my Kubota . Bought it new in 1993 in Everett. Wish Sound Tractor wouldn't have sold out.

Avoid at all cost, drive north to…read moreScholtens in Burlington and save yourself the headache you will have with this dealer setting up your Kubota. They probably can't eff up the construction equipment line too bad since there isn't a lot of dealer installation work to do...but the field assembly required for the tractor line is different story and, from my experience, is too complicated for the techs at this dealer to handle. The problems consisted of them being unable to get my Swift-tach loader mechanism to function correctly. They had two attempts to do so, but failed to get it working. They took three stabs at getting the tire ballast filled as they should be and delivered the machine without any instruction (which would have flagged the loader issues up front), they installed the canopy incorrectly and failed to address (so I fixed). There are many more items, some nitpicky like they failed to grease three joints on the loader arms to falling to install the rear conical seat wheel nuts with the conical face of the nut engaging the wheel. Pretty much boils down to an unprofessional and under-competent shop...these are things an entry level tech can easily mess up, but a good shop foreman would catch and teach the tech. That is clearly not what happens here - it's evident that they don't care about their work, they just want the sale and to move on. They have been non responsive to me in settling this and refunding some of the money I paid for them to do the install work that they either failed to do or did an incompetent job at requiring me to fix. Further, they did not complete the Kubota required delivery checklist and sign off with me. The purchase was six months ago, I love my B2601, but dealing with this dealership has definitely been a huge black mark on Kubota's reputation with me. Now that I'm six months on, I plan to write to Kubota HQ in Texas to let them know of the ordeal I went through (along with the many other things that Kitsap Kubota effed up). I'm also contemplating filing against them in small claims court to recoup part of the $3,600 I paid for the field install work they failed to execute correctly. The punchline: be wary if you choose to buy here. They talk an okay game, but when the rubber meets the road, your tractor wheels may just fall off...
