Ok the ladies here and particularly for Me Trevor one of the plant managers rocks it! Not only did he save me a plant he was developing while we were traveling a lot they also saved the last of a special Peony variety for the wife! The peony not so cheap and smaller but healthy and at the end of season a real find! And he did me a great deal on the first indoor plant. It's a great place to recycle yard waste type materials, get small or large quantities of gravel, stone and soil products, and a great nursery! I notice that the staff here is really friendly, helpful, and engaging with everyone here and not the no nos and problems with other topsoil and recycle places on the island. I didn't realize it was already 5:25pm and the nursery had closed. Trevor was exiting the gate and offered to open back up for me to allow me to take photos. Not only that, he went above and beyond by walking me around, listening to what I liked and wanted, then pointed me towards other ideas. I've been to Mailliards Landing Nursery twice in the last 18 months. The first time, the cashier shorted me $10. When I pointed that out, the money was immediately given to me and the whole thing made light of. The second time, yesterday, the cashier charged me for a $20 plant I had not purchased. When I pointed out that I had been overcharged, the bill was immediately remedied and the whole thing made light of. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. read more

Friendly helpful staff, pretty good prices especially for the quality and variety of plants they offer. We try to buy most of our plants from them simply because the plants seem to do better than our plants purchased elsewhere and the staff is always helpful with loading things up/offering advice. They have a wide variety of plants and something for everybody. read more

We visited the nursery recently and found it and the people very friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to check out the extensive selections of plants but focused on the large selection of pavers for a new patio. Pricilla walked out with us into the yard and was very informative in helping us with the many options. Once back to the office, Nolan discussed pricing and provided a printed estimate with pricing for the materials (and helped compute what we needed) along with delivery charges. Very professional. He even let us take a few samples back with us to the house to help us decide that the style and colors we had chosen were just what we wanted. And prices are very competitive with the big box guys with selections to see much better! I will be going with Mailliard's for my project! read more

I have been a customer of Mailliards for at least 10 years. I have purchased, soil, compost, plants and trees, garden supplies of all sorts, crushed rock and pavers. They are extremely knowledgeable and excel at customer service. I know of no other place on the Island that matches their selection and prices. read more
