Garden

After getting coffee next door, we were attracted to this wonderful nursery garden. We were blown away by all the holiday gifts and ideas in the back area. Everything you would need for Christmas decoration, it's all in here. There were so many to see. The price was similar when you shopped in the mall. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. This will be our go to place in the future.

This is a magical place! Visiting Bayview Farm and Garden was the absolute highlight of my day in Langley, and if I were to go back to Langley I would make this my first and last stop. It is absolutely stunning and seasonal- they had a full fall display, mini pumpkin patch, hay bails.... Tons of photo oops and we could see that they were setting up for Christmas too! The plant selection is delightful and expansive. Lots of classic options, alongside some fun mysteries and rare plants. I spent most of my time in the gift section, which was expertly curated. There were so many incredible local goods- it was hard for me to not buy one of everything! Their shop is a wonderful way to discover new small businesses and the owners take a lot of pride in curating it. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable. I didn't see a single employee without a wide smile on their face, and had a great conversation with the man who checked me out once I had picked out my treats and goods. The pricing is fair, the selection is vast, and the whole place just feels absolutely magical. Plan to spend at least an hour here!

Bayview Farm and Garden is hands down my favorite nursery in Washington State I would say. They have it all! A cute cafe next door, indoor and outdoor plants, huge selection of seeds, and during warmer months, they have a cute lil farmer market on Saturdays! (I think Saturdays, I could be wrong). They had a good sale going this past weekend too, 25% off perennials, shrubs, and what not. Things I have bought here: - seed packets (they carry a huge variety from Ed Hume, to Deep Harvest, to Baker Creek, and many other brands!) - houseplants - I just bought a rosemary plant and a poppy plant this weekend from here - fertilizers - rooting powder - shallot sets - plant supports Price wise, it's not the cheapest nursery I have been too, but it's not the most expensive either. You can find good deals here and there. I could spend hours here!

A place that you can probably spend an hour walking through. Although I did not stop at their bakery for anything, I did stroll through the gift shop. Many nice things for purchase and presentation was absolutely lovely. Employees were very nice and there's even a little sanctuary with indoor plants towards the back.

Love it here. Great spot on Whidbey to by all sorts of gifts and garden supplies. Also has a wonderful cafe for breakfast and lunch. The best time to come is during November or December when they are set up for the holidays, great ambiance and a perfect place to do holiday shopping. Behind the store, there are a few other local businesses that are great to stop in as well for food or a beer. Definitely coming back soon!

Welcome to the garden foyer!!!

Thank you for the best local and tourist destination ever!! We took a pre-Christmas vacation and had so much fun finding the cutest gifts here, Someone has a great eye for all things design there; it was so beautifully done!!! We loved visiting and truly enjoyed the holiday boutique, wandering the winter gardens outside, and having the best breakfast on Whidbey Island next door!! Thanks for having us:)

I had a tiny back yard, cute and neat, but not very useful. I saw the reviews here and elsewhere…read moreand was impressed by the positive feedback given to Jumanji. I met with Jumanji and told her that I'd like to create a seating area, I needed privacy from my neighbors, and I like a riot of color, mostly purple/lavender, fuschia, white and chartreuse or gray. That's just about it. With that little bit of direction she turned my humble yard into a fairy tail garden. It's like a Monet painting! When my partner saw it he responded, "Wow!" Even my son, who, as a teenage boy, isn't the most effusive (unless you want to talk video games), commented, "The back yard looks really cool!" Jumanji gave my little yard the artist's touch. It is perfect. Jumanji's rates are reasonable and she will come back for regular maintenance, which means she will continue to watch her handy work develop and will take more care than most. Now all I need is a table and bench or chairs so I and a couple of my friends can enjoy the beauty and serenity that is my secret garden.

Connecting with Oliana Gardening was superbly serendipitous. As an interior designer and landlord,…read moremy gardens need to be both aesthetic and highly functional, and preferably mostly native. I needed a landscaping establishment that was reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable about natives, the right price, able to do both maintenance and renovations, and, this was a biggie, artistically trained. Oliana Gardening is meeting all these needs beautifully. Reliable and trustworthy means appointments are kept, communication is good, work gets finished, and my property gets cleaned and locked up as it should be. Being able to trust Oliana Gardening as I do makes my life so much easier. Jumanji really knows her native plants, and helped me figured out a scheme for a sunny front garden that I was failing miserably with on my own. I'd spoken to other people about natives before, but they either couldn't imagine an entirely native garden, or were so natives-oriented they seemed to sniff at my aesthetic needs. Jumanji supports my dual and sometimes conflicting requirements. For example, while it's stressful on sword ferns to completely cut their old fronds, we're compromising with selective trimming. The fact that Jumanji does both installations and maintenance is especially helpful because every act of maintenance from pruning to carefully placing excess leaves in the right spot all leads toward the overall garden vision. She's not going to damage anything from ignorance or mess up what is working well like my clean gravel drive by getting dirt all over it as one "gardener" did. More, Jumanji keeps teaching me new things about gardening, which makes the process fun. To me, Jumanji's greatest asset, is that is also an artist. Many companies have great plant knowledge or construction abilities, but their gardens often lack unity or artistry. I absolutely love collaborating with Oliana Gardening as one creative with another. Jumanji understands the creative process, creative angst, and "can we move it again?" Jumanji also has other equally talented colleagues, so when I wanted a border between my plants and gravel, she brought in an artist friend who can weld. Together they created a beautiful steel border and craftily installed it among carefully placed rocks to make everything look level and balanced. Last, Oliana Gardening understands my garden ambitions aren't backed by a big budget so existing plants, rocks, leaves etc. have been used to their utmost. To offset costs, we'll figure out things I can do myself, we'll work together for a bit (such as when she wrapped one of my trees with holiday lights and installed some new large rocks), or spread work out over several months. My garden has really come together since working with Oliana Gardening, and I look forward to working with the company long into the future.
