Catering order: fruit pancakes, sausage, bacon, chicken sausage, country potato's, toast and eggs. Included was assorted condiments!
Amanda P.

Bayside came through on a breakfast catering order. My husband and I go for breakfast in the weekend but this time around I had a large office order that they were able to assist with. As always great customer service, great tasting food, and massive portions. Thank you again for the drop off especially during commute/ traffic hours.

The food and service is great and still the same. But they have upped the prices & its hard to get out of there for less than $30 per person.

I know this place has been around for a while, but it was my first time and we enjoyed it. The customer service is good, food is good and the ambiance is very relax. We will be back for more.

Meatlovers omelette

Came here on a Sunday morning,  parking wasn't too bad, and it wasn't super busy.   Inside the place was clean and simply decorated. I was greeted and helped right away.      The prices were reasonably priced,  pretty standard for anywhere you go.   I ordered 5 items, and it was a little over $100, so I'm not complaining. I'm not going to lie. I double-checked my order because people complained about being double charged... then again, those people only have left 1 review or a handful at that.. so you already know..  the only thing different is,  I paid with card and they charged an admin fee for $4 and some change.   I do know credit card companies charge a fee for using their machine.  I'm guessing they are just passing it on to the customer. Corned beef hash and eggs w/ house potatoes - It was tasty and pretty much what you would expect. House potatoes were well cooked and seasoned Country Fried Steak and eggs combo - Standard country fried steak.  Portion was ok,  had a little crunch. I liked that they placed the gravy on the side Meat omelette - Has ham, bacon, and sausage.   Tasty and not greasy from all the meat. Hashbrowns were nice and crunchy Pancake combo - Good pancakes and combo       Overall,  the food was pretty basic.  Didn't stand out in any way.  Not like any flavor explosions in your mouth.    I do want to come back and try the chilaquiles, breakfast burrito,  and french toast combo.

Chef's Special with Grits
Amy T.

Ordered via Doordash. Chef's Special with Grits - came with 4 halves of toast that were too burnt for me. Chef's Special had a slab of cheese on top of the omelette which sits on a thin layer of oil. Grits were bland and came with a small puddle of butter. The omelette was generously filled with the described ingredients but unfortunately, it was too oily and left me feeling nauseated after this meal.

Diners are my favorite type of restaurant. I love to try diners every where I go. I was greeted with a warm welcome. Loved the old school decor. I had a typical 2 egg breakfast and it was hands down just what I was looking for. The fluffiest hash browns! They serve the typical breakfast lunch & dinner but little things like they make their ranch dressing from scratch was impressive. Pricing was also fare. I'm not sure if the team working there is family but they sure worked together as if they were & treated me as a valued guest. I got the best of both worlds eating here. Great food & great service!

MIL's request for her birthday breakfast. 8am on a Saturday and it's a little less than half full so we got to choose our spot. Definitely where the locals go. Sometimes we walk over but with the rain, we drove in. We sat at a booth with a view of Bayshore Blvd below and San Bruno Mountain in the distance. Pretty straight forward diner breakfast fare, huge and satisfying portions, and friendly, efficient service. They make sure your coffee mug is full. My usual is the Bayside Omelette (yummy hot links inside) and vary the sides depending on my mood - today it was hash browns and sourdough toast. Eric gets the Country Fried Steak and Eggs more often than not and MIL likes the Denver Omelette. Leaving a little before 10am, most of the booths are full! There is a small parking lot adjacent to the cafe and when that is full, parking along Hester is the next option.

I was looking to grab a breakfast sandwich after getting into the SFO airport and I'm thankful to have come across this little cafe! The staff was very friendly, food was great and service was fast. I would definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast! I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. It was filling, delicious and affordable! It also came with an orange spicy sauce that was really flavorful! We took ours to go but there was plenty of seating available.

Breakfast at Bayside Cafe. : Cindy

We rented an Airbnb down the street and walked up for Breakfast the first day and really enjoyed the experience. Cindy was super friendly and made us feel at home...so much so that we went back the next day. Loved the breakfast potatoes and sausage gravy and biscuits. If we ever go back to SF we would definitely visit Bayside Cafe again!

My real estate broker and I had a great brunch at BaysideCafeSF. We were taken good care by the owners Manuel and Aida. They open at 0600-1400H Tuesday thru Sunday. They are now open for dinner called Hibachi Nights: Thursday through Saturday from 0600-2100H. They are closed during Mondays. BaysideCafeSF has daily specials with reasonable prices. The tilapia with veggies was delicious! I understand that BaysideCafeSF has DoorDash delivery to the areas of: Visitacion Valley, Little Hollywood, Candlestick Point, Bernal Heights, Bayview, Portola, Silver Terrace, University Mound, Mission Terrace, McLaren Park, Excelsior, Bayshore Heights, Crocker Amazon, Park Merced, Brisbane, Colma, Daly City, South San Francisco... Food critics should evaluate this eatery: Jessica Yadegaran, Sam Mauhay-Moore, Susana Guerrero, Madeline Wells, Katie Dowd, Dianne de Guzman, Nico Madrigal-Yankowski, Soleil Ho, Cesar Hernandez, Linda Zavoral, John Meetcalfe, Cathy Thomas, Kate Bradshaw. The bathroom for men/women was clean, no off smell. They have a clothes hook inside the door. They have nine parking slots for regular clients, and two parking slots for the disabled. Four more parking slots are available on Hester Avenue. Garlic Bread
Alex M. ..

Classic diner spot with great service and a super welcoming vibe! Beat the sunday church rush and needed a little hangover cure. Got the garlic butter omelette that came with a nice side of tasty garlic bread. Had half of my friend's french toast combo and it was tasty!

The food was good, but quite expensive for a diner. I was expecting higher quality for the price.

I made a reservation via Yelp for 3 people on a Saturday at 11:15am. My table was ready on time and they seated me even though our full party was running late. I got the Omelette Fried Rice (4.5/5), that came with delicious sriracha bacon, and an okay salad on the side. For my drink, I got the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk (5/5), which was fantastic. It's on the sweeter side, which worked for me. It was fairly busy and a bit loud inside. The dining room is long and narrow but has a decent amount of seating. Service was good, and friendly.

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.
