When we entered, Chelsea recognized him and he said it was good to not just be back, but to recognize someone on the staff. Nice to say hi. We had a different bartender that I didn't catch his name, but very friendly. We were there for the happy hour menu, so ordered a couple drinks to cheers to a weekend in Florida to see his momma and family. I've never had a Wagyu burger, so decided to treat myself while he ordered duck wings. The burger was fantastic, and stunned at the amount of fries provided! So many, but they were delicious. He enjoyed his duck wings. This place is charming, and fairly spacious for a bar. Additionally, the bathrooms were clean and easy to use. Overall, a great experience and I'm sure the next time we come to Mount Dora, we will check this place out!

Ambiance was rustic with beautiful views of the lake. Chose the comfort of inside with the a/c. The bartender was doing it all, and doing it well. He greeted us took drinks and menu order. We dined on chicken pot pie with side salad, blackened chicken wrap with cole slaw, French dip with fries and a Reuben with cole slaw. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. The shop has a great selection inexpensive to top shelf cigars as well as lighters and cutters. The owner was very helpful, knowledgeable, and informative. I explained what my tastes were and what I was looking for then he guided me to the perfect cigar. The place looks like a pretty great place to light up a stick and knock back a drink or two.

IT WAS SOMEONES CHEWED MINTY GUM IN MY MOUTH STUCK IN MY TEETH I got sick (in a napkin of course) and informed my server, ran to the bathroom some more getting sick and when I came back my server informed me I wouldn't pay for anything, I made a comment that maybe the dishwasher didn't do a good job but the server told me he wish that was the case that it was intended for an employee on break and he thought it was mine in the window and it wasn't, he apologized, well I took a couple shots of whiskey to kill the bacteria hopefully. I asked for a manger to come talk to me because I work in the food industry and I don't feel it was handled correctly, he informed me the manger was not there he had to text her to get the approval for the bill. So I was definitely taken back. I have never had anything like this happen to me and the two girls I was with also tasted the soup because I said it didn't taste right and they was literally given a bill for their 15$ burgers and I got a 10% card to hopefully come back. I have called twice to talk to a manger and have not gotten through to anyone, I've seen messages online to suspected owners and still nothing back, I was told the guy with the gauges in the kitchen is the one that did it, I woken up with a sore throat today and will be going to get tested and they will be informed of my medical bills by a lawyer. PS my friend ordered a burger Togo a few hours later for her aunt I went in to get the burger and pay with my 10% card and the short haired short server with glasses was seen laughing at the computer about the situation, I just don't think it was funny at all.

All of this in an environment that is welcoming to families, open and friendly. I had brisket, while my friends had pizza. This along with the great beer options made this a great place to visit friends and make memories. I will be visiting next time I come in town.
