Five stars, though that hardly captures the vintage of this place…read more From the moment you step inside, it feels like an uncorking--there's that soft release of the day, a subtle pop of tension giving way to warmth. The room breathes. Conversation aerates. You settle in the way a good bottle opens up after a moment in the glass. The food has depth, the kind that suggests it's been allowed to develop properly. Nothing rushed. Nothing overworked. Homestyle dishes arrive layered and generous, as if they've been patiently aged rather than assembled. There's structure to the menu--comfort as the body, flavor as the finish--and it lingers in the best way. The service pours easy and steady. Attentive without overwhelming, like a thoughtful decant that lets everything open naturally. Recommendations come with care, never pretense. You feel guided, not sold to. And then there's the crowd--the true terroir of the place. Warm, grounded, unassuming. Neighbors, first dates, old friends--each table adding its own note to the atmosphere. By the end of the night, the whole room feels blended, balanced, harmonious. Some establishments chase trends. This one feels like a good vintage--crafted with intention, allowed to mature, and shared generously. You don't just visit. You savor.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny afternoon with our dog, Lily. The staff were all genuinely friendly and attentive, but John and Tracy truly went above and beyond. They made Lily feel like the guest of honor--bringing her water, stopping by with kind words and pets, and making sure she was comfortable while we enjoyed our meal. It's rare to find a place that is not only dog-friendly, but so warmly dog-welcoming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the service was perfectly paced. Between the great meal, the comfortable patio, and the thoughtful staff, it was a memorable and relaxing experience from start to finish. We'll absolutely be back--Lily will insist on it!

Generous seating and calm, peaceful music make for a very intimate setting to enjoy with dinning companions. We started off with the Charcuterie platter. Beautifully prepared and served/explained by Chef John. This included an oven fresh baguette, served in its own delightful paper bag. For entrées we shared the Beef Bourguigon, and Ratatouille. Both were delicious. I have so much respect for Chef John. Operating a small high end restaurant in 2026, must be the toughest job around. From the competition around him, the high cost of quality specialty foods, rent, staff and providing experiences. You can feel the love in every bite. Go treat yourself to a wonderful dinning experience. A Votre Sante' Chef John.

I guess this place is now called Scooters Barbeque @ Crossroads 44 Music & Sports Bar. The main building is closed; I heard through the grapevine that the owner just shut it down like a week ago and a new owner will be taking it over soon. Around back, there is a decent sized covered bar where we were hanging out. There are two pool tables and several other games out there, plus TV monitors for watching the big game. There is no air conditioning as it's an outside bar, but it is covered and they have several fans to help keep the stank moving. There is also a stage available for live entertainment. Although some of this place is newly renovated it's still a dive bar and there is no indoor restrooms only two porta potties out back which are long due for exchange. Drinks are reasonable, about $5.50 for a well whiskey and ginger ale. The young girl working the bar was sweet as sugar, but I felt bad for her because it was super hot out today even in the shade and with fans going. All-in-all, this is a pretty cool bar to check out if you like biker bars and want to swing by for a cold drink and some fun with your riding buddies.
