Mall security is great for protecting our privacy from people live-streaming which is against policy, it's good to know that security is on top of things as this woman on a mobility scooter has been making shoppers and staff uncomfortable. I love bayshore and shop there often, but there was this hair product salon station in particular..this guy kept promoting it, it's the KK salon by cole's. He pulled us over and used me as an example after I said no anyway, like 2-3 times. Used my mother and sister as examples like we were dolls and didn't even fix her hair, the serum totally messed up my hair and my curls fell. Only reason it's bumped down to 3 stars. Do not recommend the KK hair products, mad expensive. $50 for hair serum!?!?!? He attemped to push my mom, who could NOT get it, and pushed more eventually gave up and gave dirty looks. Other stores are great, found the book I was looking for at Cole's too. read more

This is a huge mall with an incredible number of shops spread over three floors. All major stores are available including Uniqlo, Apple, Roots, Apple, Aritzia, H&M, Old Navy, Gap and Zara. There's also direct entrance to Walmart on the 3rd floor. Gets busy in the weekend with visitors. Prices are decent for apparels and food. Mall is mostly clean and organized. Elevators are on one side of the mall, little annoying. But they have free parking garage which is nice. read more

Having worked retail, this feature can be managed by a supervisor. They just don't want to. Prior to the renovations (which are still on-going as I write this review, may I add), I would have given this mall 3 or even 4 stars. However, the new parking lot has caused me to give this mall only 2 stars. So the renovated parking lot was supposed to be a "new and improved parking lot." Yes, it probably parks more cars now, but the parking spots are narrower and you risk your life walking from your parking spot to the mall entrance. Who is the crazy sadistic engineer who designed the new parking lot? There is no safe way to walk from where you park your car to the entrance of the mall. It's total chaos. There are signs that say "do not enter" but people drive through anyway. You turn the corner and then find yourself in a dead end, and you have to maneuver your car out (which is difficult since there are cars parked on both sides). I hate the new parking lot. As for the stores, sure they have a White House Black Market and a Desigual which I think are stores that they have that no other mall in Ottawa has. However, I will not put up with the parking lot situation to go to these stores. The Winners in Bayshore, while big, actually sucks. I never get any good deals here. There's a Sephora, but the one at the Rideau Centre is better (although parking at the Rideau Centre is also a nightmare - but I feel that since that's downtown it's justified. Bayshore is not downtown, parking should not be so horrendous in Nepean!). There's a Browns Shoes, Victoria's Secret and The Face Shop. While these are less common stores in Ottawa, you can find them elsewhere. The majority of the stores at Bayshore can be found in other malls. I think in the future I will avoid Bayshore Shopping Centre unless there is a compelling reason for me to go (i.e. the only thing I want left in my size is at Bayshore, or H&M does a collaboration with some really awesome designer and there is a piece that I must have). I may consider taking public transit if they renovate the entrance to the mall via public transit because last time I took OC Transpo to Bayshore, the public transit entrance to the mall was mondo sketchy, especially at night. read more

A beautiful multi-floor mall nestled between the Kanata and Westboros area; this is a great alternate choice to shopping at the CF Rideau Centre. Easily accessible via multiple bus routes and there are loads of parking space available. It has a good mix of big box stores and smaller shops but a full food court with plenty of choices. There's a Second Cup and Starbucks but no Bridgehead. There's a Cinnabon and a Mr Pretzel but no Beavertails. There's even a beautiful and spacious yoga lounge here! This mall is also located with the Bayshore Transit Station, so there are lots of bus routes that come to this mall. read more

Shopper's alert! They are doing massive construction at Bayshore mall to improve parking at the mall; a whole section of parking spaces has been torn down. Surely this will impact your visit if you plan on driving there. I also wonder what will happen to the rather large and best Ottawa location for a Zellers store located in this mall? The Bay stores own Zellers, and they are considering the future for the few Zellers stores still in existence now that Target has chosen their most profitable locations for takeover. This mall has indeed changed over the years that I've been coming here. Used to be the upper end stores were on the top floor, some of which still remain. I miss shopping in Toronto! This mall is one of the 3 in Ottawa that holds even a dim candle to what's available in Toronto or Montreal. Feels to me like I need an out of town shopping experience! Meanwhile I do go to Bayshore because it's close enough and there is some variety for choices. I do find that the selection is much better at this mall than what's available closer to home (for example Northern Reflections). Quite refreshing, actually. read more

Has good stores but a huge pain to park and get around inside. Parking is difficult and complicated. Getting up and down floors - escalators up and down are located at opposite ends. Ultimately you must walk through the entire mall in order to get up and down without doing stairs. Not my favourite mall. read more

It had been years, maybe decades, since I had visited this mall. On my most recent trip, this place impressed me so much that I returned twice. Bayshore's food court has all of the familiar restaurant chains, but the quality of their offerings are stellar, e.g. the delicious roasted lamb from 'Jimmy the Greek'. Then there are the usual retail shops selling clothing, electronics, toys/games, and my fave snack-food shops like Kernels, Laura Secord, and Pinkberry. Walmart was also convenient in a pinch when I needed some quick grocery items. Nice layout and space, but parking spots in the parkade are tiiiiiny. Hope you manage to squeeze into a space and not get dinged by your neighbours! read more

It seems like the team that renovated Bayshore approached it with a "Go big or go home attitude" because they definitely went big and if you plan to shop at every store in the mall in one shot, you are definitely not going home. This place is growing to be a one-stop shopping experience. It has a little bit of everything: food, clothing, jewellery, beauty, home, sport, entertainment, you name it! The addition of a large Walmart as one of their anchor stores even includes the convenience of grocery shopping into the customer's experience. On the topic of the Walmart, that is something that I think needs a bit more work on. For an anchor store which would drive higher traffic, the place is poorly kept and good luck finding stock of items you need...or just good luck finding them in the right place on the shelf. The updated food court was also a nice addition. Very spacious, clean, and has a decent variety of food choices. It is a nice place to have a casual hang-out with a group in between shopping. The parking infrastructure was also renovated, but done very poorly. It seems the main thought was to jam as many cars into the space as possible with little thought of the actual functionality or movement of traffic. It is a giant maze of cars where you have to be very careful not to hit someone else's car when parking. With how small the parking spaces are, the chances of getting dinged is pretty high. I would recommend anyone to drive to their closest park and ride and just bus down to the mall. There are a lot of buses that service the Bayshore station, and it will save you the headache of trying to navigate the parking structure and trying to find an available parking space. Overall I like this mall. If I was to choose only one mall that I can go to for the rest of my life here in Ottawa, I would pick Bayshore hands down. read more

My only complaint with this mall is the location of the elevators. In my opinion, because they are located conveniently in the middle of the mall and easily accessible, priority is often not given to people who need to use the elevators most, seniors, wheel chairs, and people with strollers. This mall is a 3 level mall which is anchored by The Bay on the west end and Zellers on the opposite end. Other honourable mentions include, Gap, Banana Republic, Jack&Jones, Aritzia, Jacob, American Eagle, Naturalizer, The Children Place, Boat House, Soft Moc, Homesense, Winners, Foot Locker, Bowring, Danier Leather, GNC, Electronic Boutique, Fido, Rogers, Bell, Blacks Photography, and The Sony Store. Some other specialty stores which sell more designer or less common brands are Stance (running shoes), Josh Peret (upscale women clothing), Showcase (as seen on TV), and Toxik (designer clothing). Food court choices include Thai Express, Subway, KFC/Taco Bell, Teriyaki Experience, New York Fries, Manchu Wok, and A&W. A full dine in Moxies is also located on the third floor which includes a full bar. Parking is ample. Bayshore Mall is easily accessible by public transit with the near by transit station, and also by vehicle due to its location directly off the highway. Washrooms are located on each floor. The only family washroom you'll find is on the first floor by the Homesense. read more

Bayshore is our families favourite local shopping centre. Its bright airy feel, makes being indoors almost unnoticeable. It's always clean & well maintianed. The food court has an excellent variety of options. The selection of stores is very good for the fashon minded. There is something for everyone. I'd love to see an Apple store move in here. Bayshore is a medium sized mall. It's got 3 levels and has 2 department stores (Bay and Zellers) and the various chain stores that fill out most malls. I think the highlight of the mall is the Winners, Homesense which are smaller versions of other Winners and Homesenses in Ottawa that you can go to. read more

SO, this is my favorite mall ever, and has always been since I was a teenager. It was always easy to navigate, was never really that busy, and had all of my fav stores! With its new upgrades, I feel like this mall is trying to compete with Rideau Center. (who does not love a friendly competition, lol). I love how Bayshore now has a Zara, H&M and Forever 21 all in one mall! I also love that this is the only mall in Ottawa with a HomeSense and Winners. Honestly this mall is the best for one stop shopping, and puts a lot of the other malls to shame! The parking used to be familiar, easy and simple. It literally took 15 minutes to find a spot because the parking was confusing, the signage was confusing, there were cars coming in all directions, and could not figure out how to get up to the second and third floor parking. Definitely has to take some getting used to. Was not a fan at all! At the end of the day, Bayshore has it all! If it was not for the parking, it would have been as good as it gets! read more

I am very impressed with how this place has cleaned up and changed to become a wonderful place to shop! Over the past few decades Bayshore Shopping Center always seemed like the place to go if you wanted to witness a knife fight or perhaps even a real live murder, and it even made the news a number of times in the last few decades for gang activity, but what I saw on my recent trip a few months ago was absolutely amazing! So clean, beautifully renovated and they take security very seriously so you feel completely safe. The transformation of this mall has been incredible and I will now go to shop there often! Excellent selection of stores! Parking is ample but getting in and out of parking can suck a little bit, and it always did, but once you actually get in the parking area you're bound to find parking because they have so many spot and multiple levels to park on. Tip: go earlier in the day and you'll have no problems with parking. Go on a Saturday afternoon or at Christmas and you will be posting very negative reviews.... read more

NRML Store in your mall Needs major review by your management if possible. I love shopping at Bayshore and I find trying to get my friends as far as Gatineau, Southkeys and even downtown to have a shopping date at Bayshore. Love the stores but I have to say something needs to be done with NRML. See reviews by others as well. Horrible service and return policy. This store should by no means be let to operate at this conditions period. I have worked in retail industry for years and people need to stop supporting this store. I bought 2 items at $157.52. When I got home I didn't like either of them mostly because their were defective and went to return them the following week (within 5 days). The manager said my items were final sale and could not be exchanged. Receipt did not indicate final sale...What a waste of time and money the entire experience was! She ended up making an EXPECTION!! REALLY!! I got a shirt and a sweat which unruffled after my first wear...OMG I am so so angry for wasting my money at a store like this one. Their products are defective if not 100% of the time at least 90%. It doesn't matter how much you spent here, they goal is to charge your card and get you out the door. I still have my receipt and the two pieces of crap items in case the store needs to take this to the next level. Actually if I had the time I would absolutely make sure this store goes out of business or changes ways of operation. Terrible terrible!! I put this same review to NRML but needed it to come to Bayshore attention as you house the business. Bayshore Shopping Centre is my favourite place to shop in Ottawa simply because of the store selection and the ample free parking. The mall is undergoing renovations at the moment, but from the inside it's still business as usual. A new Apple store opened up there recently which is nice, and the stores are beginning to compare to those at Rideau. It's usually not too crowded (aside from holidays) and it's open late on weekends. read more

Last time I was in Bayshore was around 2 years ago and I remember thinking that it was the mall that time forgot and hated it. Dull, lifeless, dark and not too mention the terrible stores. After 2 minutes in here on Saturday I pretty much decided that it was my new favourite mall in ottawa. Bright, airy, busy with some decent stores. I'm from the UK so I miss my beloved H&M as its super popular there. I hadn't made it to bayshore or orleans yet so was happy to step into this one. Sadly it was only a browsing visit due to lack of funds but definitely think the H&M could be a big crowd pleaser. The Forever 21 is also real nice. Bright and stylish and much better than Rideau. There were a few nice stores I haven't heard of before and others that definitely seemed bigger and better than their Rideau or St. Laurent versions. We were only actually there for a genius appointment at Apple but walking round I was dragging my boyfriend into a ton of stores just for a look and eyeing the rest up for whenever I return without him. Food courts aren't my thing other than for grabbing a Tim's but checked this one out and as food courts go it looked nice, the food i'll still pass on. The parking situ is a little confusing. We went in and there were 10 or so cars looking for spaces on one level, the top. We took a chance and went down one and the level was practically empty. The set up is a little weird too, feel they dropped the ball a little on the parking front. Ottawa in general disappoints me for its lack of decent clothing stores and style. It's full of stores selling the stuff, the same stuff it was selling last year, and the year before. Admittedly i haven't been to Rideau for around 6 months so i don't know much about how the renovations there have made a difference. Bayshore has restored my faith a little and if I lived closer I'd definitely go there for window shopping. Its like 40 mins from me on a good day. Bayshore's been around for so long! I used to come shopping here with my family back when I was in the first grade, over 18 years ago! At least it's had a lot of renovations since then. I was really surprised with how different this place looks now. The last time I visited, I only went to a couple of stores and grabbed a huge drink at Booster Juice to quench my thirst. It has a pretty wide selection of shops, including the only Aeropostale location in Ottawa. It also has the same kind of events and promotions as other malls, like Santa and gift wrapping during Christmas time. The mall also has Port Pizzazz, a YMCA/YWCA operated babysitting kind of place for young, potty-trained children. It's open from April to December. Kids can have fun and play in a supervised area for a maximum of three hours. There are a bunch of other conditions, and they only accept cash and coupons, no debit or credit. read more

Basically anything you would need, all in a mall. With the addition of the WalMart, Bayshore really is a one stop shop. The new addition is beautiful, with many of the stores rounding out Bayshore's offerings. The food court has now moved to a more accessible/better spot in the new addition. For those with little ones, they have some cute racing car strollers and motorized animals (bears, etc.) which make me want to be a kid again :). The only downside is the schizophrenic traffic flow in the parking lot. Many one-ways and bizarre little nooks where no one would ever park (nevermind try to get out of!). Many patrons do not follow the traffic patterns and go the wrong way on one ways. I have heard the same from many other patrons and would highly reccommend taking transit, especially during the upcoming holiday season. read more

I used to love Bayshore... it's a big rectangle with 3 floors, which makes it easy to get around, lots of great stores, easy bus access with a Taco Bell in the food court, who could ask for more? When I think of Bayshore now, the only thing that comes to mind is "Ughh parking". I will go out of my way to Carllingwood or the Kanata Centrum before I travel to Bayshore anymore. I only go there when ABSOLUTELY necessary. The parking is beyond ridiculous (as other Yelpers have already stated). I usually park around back in the Home Sense parking lot where i'm hoping they won't renovate as it's still open concept. If you park in the Home Sense lot, the washroom is right there when you walk in, which is nice if you're doing the pee-pee dance. Definitely a shout out to the dual floor Winners/Home Sense... love the kitchen section there as i'm a sucker for kitchen gadgets. The store is usually well stocked, fairly organized and has new stuff all the time. The new food court is bright and open consisting of the usual mall fare with a nice sushi bar. To the poster that gave Bayshore 5 stars... you sound like you work for Bayshore, a little too over-zealous maybe? read more

I promised to write an updated review after the disaster of parking was done being rebuilt, and I have many awesome things to report! First of all, I've avoided this mall for months, actually driving there and turning around after wasting an insane amount of time trying to find a parking spot while they were doing construction (spoiler: I never found one and went to Carlingwood instead). I was a bit nervous about the new parking situation since I was so used to the old one. It took us a few minutes to situate ourselves once parked as we weren't used to taking an elevator from the garage to the mall, but it was actually great! Let's hope they stay nicely maintained. In my previous review I mentioned the lack of an H&M but yaaaaay, cheap and trendy clothing has finally made its way to Ottawa. It's not as massive as some other locations, but it's still got a terrific selection. There's also a new Victoria's Secret for those who can fit into there stuff (see my Marianne's review for context hahaha). I've always loved Bayshore for havjbg my favourite stores (Sephora, Apple, Winners and Homesense - in a mall!), but the mall's makeover has seriously made me love it even more. The one complaint I still have is the food court. I'd love some more options, but I hear that is coming. The halls seem brighter, the furniture updated and with more stores coming, this is and will continue yo be my favourite mall in the city. read more

My favorite mall in Ottawa, I'll make the drive from downtown anytime! Great selection of stores - I've found everything I need there. It's very clean and the layout is very simple (just one long hallway) so very easy to find your way around. It gets 4 stars because getting from one floor to another is a little more challenging with limited escalators/elevators/staircases. read more

Bayshore shopping Centre has certainly stepped things up with it's recent renovations. The new food court is beautiful, the hallways are a crisp, clean white shiny marble, and the extra hallway seating is a really nice touch and quite popular for those supportive shopping partners. My favorite spots at Bayshore would have to be White House - Black Market, Desigual, Home Sense, and of course Cinnabon (the best deal is the big pack of small Cinnabons...but that's a lot to eat). My only complaint about this mall is the parking lot. They have attempted to make it fairly fluid, but it's not. The ramps are in the centre of the lot making the process of getting up and down different levels more hassle than necessary, and it forces cars to drive huge loops around the parking lots. Also, I'm not sure what they used to finish the floor of the parking garage, but no matter how carefully or slowly cars drive, it causes tires make an awful screeching sound as they turn or drive along. It's a little disconcerting as a driver, and absolutely awful once you are out of your car walking to the mall. Overall, I really like Bayshore, but less one BIG star for the silly parking lot. It wont stop me from shopping, but it certainly gives me pause when considering where to head out for a day of shopping. read more

Probably the best mall in Ottawa as it has a little bit of everything. It's pretty big so it's never too too busy unless you go on a holiday. Food court is also decent. A lot of parking which is free. Combination of some expensive but also some cheaper stores. Usually always clean. Bus station connected so pretty easy to get to. Customer service is horrible. The Guest Services Supervisor doesn't care that we were stuck at home due to covid and refuses to honour a $35 expired "customer reward" card. The card is expired by less than 2 months. And I was told it would be good until January 2021. read more
