I enjoy visiting Winners and not having anything that I truly need to buy. That's what happened when I stopped by this store. I found a bottle of Seche Vite, but it was the gel-like top coat version that I have never tried before. I do my nails and like a fast-drying top coat. As luck would have it, I was in the purse section and saw a purple Kipling purse that was both compact and on sale. $10 off the regular price?! Yes, it's mine! I was so pleased with this purchase. It's not every day when you snatch the perfect small purse for $25. This Winners, in particular, has the most extensive selection of records (vinyl for those who didn't grow up with a record player) that I have ever seen. I was impressed and spent some time flipping through all the titles. The gourmet food section is great. I found vegan candy, lots of tea varieties, and more. The checkout line seemed long, but it moved quickly. I purchased my fine items and left happy. (232)

Unfortunately, every time I have been stopping by, the shelves have been sparse, and almost empty, with the same products sitting on the shelves week after week. The turnover on the products have not been great at all. I love how they have a jewelry counter, but its always difficult to get merchandise shown to you because the one staff working that counter is always swamped, or with another customer. Sometimes you have to wait around 5+ minutes to see something. I usually give up and walk away and return when the customers have left the counter. The juniors section has had the same clothes sitting on the racks for the last few weeks. I am guessing the reason is because it is between seasons. I have rarely had a problem with customer service, although recently the cashier charged me twice for a shirt, but that was because we were having so much fun chatting about leg warmers. :) I noticed on my receipt when I got home about the double charge, and called the store and was told that I just need to bring in my receipt and it will all be taken care of. The hubby did so for me the next day, and the cashier tried to put up a fight, but it was all taken care of in the end. The line ups at the checkout are not too bad during the week, but you can be waiting in line for a while during the weekend. Although I prefer the Bayshore Winners, this location is a quick fix for me, and sometimes I find some really great finds here.

Despite being in the poshy Glebe, this location doesn't have poshier stuff than other locations, lol. The Sparks/Queen location is also an "Urban Concept" store, but has some higher end pieces which sets it apart from other locations. This location does not have a kid's section, but other than that, it has everything else that larger regular Winners have, just selection is less. Don't get me wrong, I still like the store and I'm happy shopping at any Winners. I just like the larger stores with abundant free parking better, lol. Since this one is in The Glebe, it's street parking only (or you can pay for parking in the privately owned paid parking lots).

This store tries to give you a downtown feel, like you get when you are in London (Great Britain). Stores tend to be at least a couple of floors. This Winners is really all up on the second floor. The first floor basically has an escalator and the main doors. Although the top floor is huge, it felt crammed with merchandise. I was here to browse and didn't see anything that I truly wanted to buy. The washrooms are in the far right corner when you reach the top of the escalator and you turn to look at all the merchandise. The women's washroom was clean. This store is great if you happen to be in the area. I can see parking being an issue if you want to haul a sofa and don't know where to temporarily park your truck to load it. Other than that, if you live in the area, it's a good store to have in your neighbourhood. (275)

Thankfully, Rasheeda was incredibly patient and helpful. She asked a few questions that helped jog my memory -- I realized my daughter had taken the receipt home and was able to get a screenshot from her. Throughout the whole process, Rasheeda was so pleasant and even shared a few laughs with me. The entire ordeal only took a few minutes, but it left a lasting, positive impression.

Staff...fair. Selection.. amazing…read more Parking... No prob. Prices.. on point and better pricing than a lot of thrift stores. Clothes seem to come in daily. Store is clean and well appointed. The change rooms are always full/busy. I love shopping for my jacket fetish and concert t-shirts. Seasonal stuff is fun and they display it well all in one area. Jeans. Work out stuff. Hats. Sunglasses. Shoes. Boots. If the store was any bigger, it would be overwhelming!! I rarely leave here empty handed.

They have items from previous seasons at lower prices and I've found some really good deals here. They also have a small selection of off-season items, so if you need a pair of shorts in the dead of winter or a coat in the middle of summer, you might find what you need here. They have a huge selection of regular sizes, petites and plus sizes. They have mostly business attire, but they also have casual wear and evening gowns. I love how I can actually buy evening gowns here off the rack and not need any alterations (albeit only from their petite line). So all you short and slim ladies (e.g. 0P and 2P) who have a hard time finding formal wear that doesn't require paying an arm and a leg for alterations, this is the place for you. Selection is not that great for these very small sizes, but I have purchased many gala dresses here (and a fraction of the regular price). This location also carries a good amount of Joseph Ribkoff, Frank Lyman and Katherine Barclay. Although they usually start at size 8. So great for normal sized people, but not for those wee like me :( I will be the first to admit that many items at Laura/Melanie Lyne are matronly and frumpy, but they also have some more fashionable pieces (although I guess "fashionable" is in the eye of the beholder). I go here often so I can swipe up those pieces at a good price. They have fitting rooms both at the front and at the back of the store. There are washrooms at the back (in with the fitting rooms). This Laura/Melanie Lyne is in a strip mall, so there is a lot of free parking.

This Winners is in the Stafford Centre in Bells Corners (which is a plaza and not an enclosed…read moreshopping centre). Selection is similar to other Winners, but I tend to have more luck at this location than others. They seem to have lots of small sizes. Their jewelery counter is also good with lots of unique pieces. Since it's in the suburbs, it doesn't feel cramped like those "urban concept" stores (e.g. Queen/Sparks location and Lansdowne Park location). There's lots of free parking in the plaza. It's in the same plaza as a Shoppers Drug Mart, Metro, Mark's, The Butchery, and Kardish. If you're hungry there's also a Quiznos (one of the few left in the city), a Shawarma place, The Butchery/Vera's Burger Shack, and a Starbucks. Or if you're feeling for a sit down restaurant, there's Lapointes too.

I decided to get it, for it was a unicorn, and I see it being practical to wear around your waist or a sling bag. It's also different. I spent some time in the shoe section. I got a pair of Converse sneakers. The price was right and I do not have a pair of black ones. It was a pleasant surprise to find a good selection of calligraphy pens. I went with the old-school pen with interchangeable nibs that you need to dip into ink. I have the urge to get back into calligraphy. I now need to get some ink. The man at the checkout area was great. He scanned my TJX Style card, rang up my total, helped me get the transaction processed, and bagged my items. He was competent and polite. There was plenty of parking in front of the store at around 7 pm. I like the selection of items at this Winners. (217)

Gotta love finding deals at Outlets especially the sale or clearance items as most stores had great deals to be had. It is hard to walk out empty handed with all the popular brands. With plenty of parking, a decent food court and many shops, Tanger is a nice shopping mall to find some deals.

The deals were really good too Old Navy was solid as usual and even Lululemon had that 2 for $100 leggings thing. They have QR codes everywhere so you can just scan and join their rewards/app on the spot and get coupons while you shop which is kinda nice, didn't feel complicated. The vibe was cute too there's like a fire pit in the middle (even though it was sunny lol), music playing, and I swear I smelled mini donuts at one point with some bangers playing lol Also random tip but if you're signed up with Lindt you can get free chocolate bag for your birthday (and like up to 30 days after). Only thing is the food area is super small, like a couple spots, so don't expect a full food court. But honestly you won't really care because there's a lot to walk through. Would go back for sure.

The store itself is clean and there a good selection of clothing. The service there is hit or miss. Some employees are perfectly friendly and helpful. Then there are others that act like they hate life and everyone there, and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them if you ask them for a room to try something on or asking to check out. Though they were just standing around talking to others.
