Tanger Outlets Ottawa sits right off a…read morehighway exit that has all the fan favorites like Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren Polo, Roots, Gap, Columbia, Asics, Lululemon and many more. Gotta love finding deals at Outlets especially the sale or clearance items as most stores had great deals to be had. It is hard to walk out empty handed with all the popular brands. With plenty of parking, a decent food court and many shops, Tanger is a nice shopping mall to find some deals.

The deals were really good too Old Navy was solid as usual and even Lululemon had that 2 for $100 leggings thing. They have QR codes everywhere so you can just scan and join their rewards/app on the spot and get coupons while you shop which is kinda nice, didn't feel complicated. The vibe was cute too there's like a fire pit in the middle (even though it was sunny lol), music playing, and I swear I smelled mini donuts at one point with some bangers playing lol Also random tip but if you're signed up with Lindt you can get free chocolate bag for your birthday (and like up to 30 days after). Only thing is the food area is super small, like a couple spots, so don't expect a full food court. But honestly you won't really care because there's a lot to walk through. Would go back for sure.

I guess it's better to experience growing pains and lessons learned in a smaller and less critical market. Anyway, I've been coming here pretty much since it opened, even though it's a bit of a trek for me. The trip has been more worthwhile for me since Tanger Outlets opened a Marshalls, which coincidentally is nearby to the Saks off 5th. They have a selection of items that sold in Saks Fifth Avenue, but they also have items that are exclusively at Saks off 5th (i.e. were never actually in the retail Saks Fifth Avenue boutiques). For the high-end brands, the prices are less than retail, but you won't get bargain basement prices that you will rave about for years, like at Winners or Marshalls. Case in point, I've never seen a Missoni dress at Saks off 5th go for less than $200, but I once scored a Missoni dress (in perfect condition, I should add) at Winners for $55 (!) That being said, Saks Off 5th almost always has several Missoni dresses, but you'll only see them at Winners maybe once every 5 years, and maybe only 2 of them. So selection at Saks off 5th is much better. I mean they always have high-end brands, meanwhile Winners and Marshalls will get some in during their "Runway Event" and "Red Carpet Event" respectively. These happen only a few times a year, and inventory sells out within a week or so. Nonetheless, I still love all 3 aforementioned stores (Winners and Marshalls more for the prices, and Saks off 5th more for the selection/availability). The change rooms at Saks off 5th don't have real doors; they have curtains. However, you can "lock" the curtains with hooks, which I appreciate, so strangers don't barge in on me while I'm trying to wiggle myself out of a bandage dress, haha. They have a good selection of women's and men's clothes. The kid's clothes selection is small, as is the kid's shoes section. Women's shoe section is huge. Men's shoes section is smaller. Accessories section is ok (mostly purses/wallets, jewelry and sunglasses. Some scarves and belts.) This place is like I mentioned earlier in the Tanger Outlet Mall, so there's ample free parking.

One thing that bothered me was how the newborn & infant clothes were set up on a really high rack (see pic). I'm pretty sure a tall employee had something to do with that and forgot about us short and average height people :( Please, Mr/Mrs Manager - please bring down that rack! Other than that, since it's a new store, I will give them some time to have enough stock to mark them down. Waiting for the Clearance items :-))

When my husband was still serving in the military he'd always wear his mess kit (since all our formal functions were related to the military), but now that he's retired from the military, he wanted to get a tuxedo for these functions. We were 3 weeks out from the gala when he decided it was time to buy one. A bit last minute, if you ask me, lol. Fortunately, his height and build allows him to buy most items off-the-rack and thus even for formal wear he requires minimal if any alterations. The store was much busier on a Saturday afternoon in May than I expected (although I guess it was prom, graduation and wedding season). We milled around a bit before someone was available to help us. We told the salesman we were looking for a black classic tuxedo. My husband told him his size and he grabbed a jacket for my husband to try on. My husband said "great" and that must have been the quickest $500 sale ever. The jacket required no alterations. The salesman measured my husband's waist and gave him a pair of pants and brought him down to the seamstress in the basement. She pinned the hem, marked the waist to take in a smidge, and we were good to go. They said it would be done in a week. My husband called them the day before we were supposed to pick up to confirm it was done, as we didn't want to make the trip out there for nothing, but there was no answer, so he left a voicemail. They never returned his voicemail. So the morning of, he called again and the salesman said he thinks it's done, but they are really swamped. Uh, ok. So we went. The saleslady helped us this time and after looking around for it for a bit, she found it. It was done and fit perfectly. I must say, my impression was that the saleslady was about customer service. She was friendly and wanted to ensure we were satisfied. My impression was that the salesman was just concerned with making a sale. That's just how I personally felt after our interactions. Also I felt $500 for a tux, not even designer or anything, was expensive, but I guess everything is expensive these days. I think you can get them for less at chains like Moores, but we do like supporting small independent businesses. But whatever, my husband is happy and looks handsome in his tux, so I'm happy ;) Street parking only.

I would like to thank the team, very helpful. Made it quick and easy!…read moreWent above and beyond. would highly recommend
