Do not expect a fancy dining experience, but the food will knock your socks off! All the boiled seafood--crabs, crawfish, & shrimp--are delicious! The seasoning and spice are perfect. This is a great family owned restaurant! The offer several boiled seafood dinner, local crabs, shrimp and fish. The customer service is very personalized. Our eastern and northern accents identified us as "not from around here". The staff took time to explain menu items, find out where we are from and how we found the restaurant. In turn, they shared the history and family relationships make the place work. The food is excellent. Save room for the bread pudding. It is probably the best I have eaten. Just wow. I generally won't eat boiled seafood at a restaurant (only at home). Everything here was perfect. Nothing was over cooked. The crabs were full and sweet. The shrimp was tender. My only disappointment was that we wimped out and got the regular spice. Now that we know their baseline, we could easily go to the spicy. But, that's on us because we were too cautious. We also had the crawfish and spinach boat. Excellent as well! We finished off with the blueberry bread pudding--also excellent. It's clearly a family owned place and everyone knows everyone. Almost every table was covered in crawfish and everyone was happily eating. My husband and I ordered ourselves a crawfish boil and it was the best I'd ever had!
