Wow, were to start. So many things. Worst of all is I drove over 2 states and book this hotel because of all the amenities it claimed to have but didnt. Websight and photos misleading, says free breakfast, and had a pic of a full breakfast bar, whole works. Nope, they have already prepaired snack bags hidden behind the front desk. They offered me one while I was inquiring as to where their breakfast kitchen went. Inside my little snack pack was a little juice box, granola bar, crakers and a fresh apple..
The pic of a full breakfast bar is gone now from the websight. I can only imagine they took it down after the audit they recieve the day I arived.
Now im down here on business and I require a printer and the hotels I stay in. Websight claimed to have a business center, which is not on the websight now. Again I can only assume because of the audit..But Nope, no business center. There is a lounge for the railroad employees only that stay here which is great for them, and the lounge does contain two desktops with no printer. Dont matter much though as I need a printer and im not allowed in the lounge anyway.
The overall cleanliness of the hotel is sub par and seems a bit grungy, not characteristic of Wyhndam or Baymont hotels. My room was clean and nice though. Save the Tv. I paid extra for a room with a kitchenet which was great however the TV wont work. Seems its HDMI cable is not working properly so if you do manage to get a picture its in and out...mostly out. One of the gals at front desk, Megon, super nice (promote her, shes awesome). Tried to help but couldnt as the managment claims they have no Hdmi cables to replace. Humm, over 400 rooms with HD tv's not a one extra hdmi cable in the whole hotel. Been here 3 days now and no tv. Come the 3rd day had ask for housekeeping to service the room as it was 2pm in the afternoon and havent seen maid service on 4th floor all day..maybe i missed em.
All in all the whole place didnt jive well for me. I wont be coming back to this hotel. Especially for a business trip. read more
