Didn't even complete my stay before making this review, where do I even start. I mean this T.V. is…read moreHORRIBLE slow AF and there is no Netflix or Hulu as advertised, LOUD squeaky floors, unsuited shower for your elders; they're an absolute death trap, they lied about having charcoal, had every utensil BUT knives I mean the only thing going for this place is the scenery and the communal outside bath tubs, like come on. Due to the old timey stove, house smells alarmingly of propane and I cannot spot any Co2 alarms. This place has so much potential, I hope they take this review and use it as fuel to do better with the place, does Humboldt County 0 justice.

This is a tax fraud, and I say fraud because this person took the time to design professional photoshoots for his buildings but can't afford to rent them out long-term - clearly invested just to gain money off of people via deposits and fees. Furnished Finders is made for medical professionals, and I'm disgusted that this owner, Jonathan, would take advantage of medical professionals who are on strict schedules and time limits and can't afford to be screwed around by Humboldt-born gold-spooners.

The hot tub is lovely and sort of nestled back in the garden which makes it more private. Fantastic kitchen with everything you need. I wish we would have had some friends to stay up in the loft. I would think it would be a great spot for kiddos too as it is like a secret hideaway with its own deck. Anne is a sweet person to communicate with and super helpful. After having poor communication and lack of follow through with another vacation property owner in town, this was a nice, easy and pleasant experience. We will be back and will recommend to friends. Tip: if you are one to sleep in, bring an eye mask. The sleeping nook gets a lot of sun in the a.m. which is great for early risers like me and not so great for those like my partner that enjoy sleeping in on weekends.

It is light and airy inside, with a peaceful and serene hot tub (no jets,) under the trees outside, a sunny private patio, and an upstairs balcony. The studio has hardwood floors, Oriental carpets, custom cabinets, and original artwork by nationally known artists. There is a built-in queen-size bed in an alcove downstairs, and the upstairs loft has two twin beds. Our studio is five blocks west of Redwood Park, three blocks south of Humboldt State University, and six blocks from the Arcata Plaza. All of our vacation rental homes are meticulously cleaned with non-toxic environmentally friendly products and left sparkling clean for your arrival. Our places are regularly maintained by a outgoing team of family and friends who perform all the maintenance themselves, and strive to provide the best experience possible for your stay, with helpful recommendations on the areas activities and dining options. We also have 2 studios, a 2 bedroom Craftsman Home, the Redwood Bungalow, and a 4 bedroom Victorian available. Contact us for more information.
