BayCell revived my vintage iPad back to life!

BayCell is impressive for so many reasons: * considerate communication * amazing prices * immediate turnaround for fixing my vintage iPad in less than 24 hours * their pick-up and delivery system Whilst I had various options through using Yelp, I decided to look into all of my choices.... and I am so happy that I chose BayCell because they truly provided EVERYTHING I needed. I did not think my vintage iPad with the broken charging port could be fixed so quickly, and BayCell blew my mind with how well their service is in all of the aspects. I highly recommend BayCell and my only wish is that I could have tipped them more $$$ for being so amazing at their job. They deserve it!

We attempted to use their services at San Francisco but when we were almost at the location, it turned out they do not have a shop there, despite appearing in Maps and on their website. We headed to their physical shop in San Mateo, which had been mentioned in the chat. When we got there we realized it had been closed earlier. We got told by call that they had a family emergency. It was later by chat when we got offered the pick up service as solution. But we didn't use it.

Came into get my s23 ultra screen repaired. If you need the screen replaced fast I'd suggest ordering over night or it will take a week for the screen to arrive luckily my phone wasn't terribly cracked. He was speedy, efficient, fast, friendly good customer service. read more

I completely smashed/bent my pixel 6 pro and many other stores refused to try to repair it enough for data recovery but BayCell did not hesitate to help me! They ordered parts for the repair and their estimate of when the part might arrive was spot on. I'm very impressed they could replace the screen and was very patient in helping me complete the data transfer. Prices are very reasonable too!!! I would go back here for any phone issues since mine was about the worst it could be and they still could help me!! Highly recommend. read more

Dropped something tough on my Google Pixel 8a screen and it was glitching and completely unresponsive to touch. Got a quote for around $200 to fix this. They had to order the parts first, and then the next day their Employee Sait was able to come pick it up at noon, fixed it and then dropped it off at night for me. I called BayCell for help removing a broken charge cord part from my iPhone charging port. They picked up my call right away and were able to see me within 30 minutes. My charging port was fixed in 5 minutes for a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

I had water damage and my phone screen was completely black. I was still getting notifications and phone calls but my screen remained black. I called into Bay Cell to see if this is anything they're able to fix. With no hesitation ERISH invited me to come in and take a look at it. With 45 min I had a working phone and screen. He even helped us out with a screen protector and case! Thank you so much for doing this! I had a lot of pictures from my brothers funeral this past week and I was so scared I would lose them. They were able to complete this in half a day and I picked it up next morning. Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! Big thank you to Andrea for her prompt replies to my questions and Carlos for ensuring that the techs knew what needed to be done!

Only when I push did they say the first $50 will be applied towards that price. So for a $600 laptop it would take $475 almost to fix it and there's only a 90 day warranty. Why don't I just go get a new laptop? I was unimpressed that they didn't really tell me anything about why this happened or really give me any practical solutions. I won't be back.

My laptop been needing a screen replacement. After reaching out to them through Yelp explaining the issue and what steps I've tried to troubleshoot and rule out the issue, Erish was quick to reply. He gave me a couple of options after he reached out to their supplier for parts, saying they could either go with a OEM screen replacement or a third-party part (lower cost). I let Erish know that I bought my own third-party screen replacement and all I had to pay was for the labor. I went to the store before they closed, gave them my laptop and the screen replacement part, and the next day it was all ready to pick up and it works great. My phone died this morning and all day I was trying to go around and get it fixed. 3 other places all required appointments to even take a look. Finally, I sent out a request on Yelp, and BayCell responded. Within 40 minutes, I had driven down, and was getting my phone looked at. Unfortunately, the issue turned out to be something with the motherboard, which the representative told me was a costly repair, and that I'd likely be better served by just getting a new phone. He refused to even accept payment for diagnosing this! Even though he took the time and effort to try a new screen, cleaning the charging port, and a new battery. The Phone has the correct battery type and like new with a reasonable price charged. I recently used Baycell for a phone repair and was thoroughly impressed. My phone's microphone was not working and now it's working perfectly! Eris was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about costs and repair time. My iphone was fixed promptly and now works perfectly. This is explained prior to receiving/paying for service. But the reviews and past customer happiest led me to come here. I was also told I would be given the opportunity to test the screen before paying to ensure I was satisfied. Located in Westlake, once you get to the front door of the building it's a short easy walk up upstairs and it's the first office on the right. I signed in, he told me a few housekeeping things to be mindful of after the phone gets repaired. I dropped off the phone and it took no longer than 15 minutes. The screen worked great! Very responsive and felt like a brand new phone. I tested it and happily paid. I would not hesitate recommending people to come here for iPhone repairs. I dropped my phone a month+ ago. The screen cracked and had dead pixels but still worked, as did…read moreFace ID. Eventually, though, the dead pixels spread and it became unusable, though Face ID continued to let me in up until I gave it to CPR to fix. Over the phone, I was told it would take about an hour. When I got there, it had gone up to 1.5 hours. When I received the phone back, the new screen was no longer flush with the casing, instead, it stood up about .5-1mm. I opened the wallet and went to pay with the phone, but Face ID just bounced. I figured I might need to redo the process, put my password in, and paid. At home, the phone struggled to reenable Face ID. There was a sweet spot about 4 inches from my face, but even then it kept exiting to the previous screen. I called back, the guy told me to drive 20m back to the shop where he explained to me that a piece of the broken glass had likely ruined the Face ID sensor. His advice was for me to get the insurance plan through T-Mobile, wait a couple of months, then submit a claim. Not sure why insurance fraud was his recommendation, but it was. I figured I'd just use my password for stuff and eventually try to trade the phone in if it were still worth anything. Yesterday, I had a freak accident where the screen was cracked again (after going 10+ years without breaking a phone, right?). This time, I took it to Shakeel The Phone Repair Guy. He told me it would take 10 minutes and to come on by. Within 3 seconds of taking the phone from me, he took one look at it, raised an eyebrow, and asked me who fixed the screen last time. I told him, and mentioned the Face ID. He removed the broken screen, investigated, and said one second. He went to another room, "Removed the crud and buildup," came back, and installed the new screen. Face ID worked. He said he suspected that while removing the first screen, the previous technician had likely nudged the Face ID sensor downward with the razor blade, causing it to barely see through its opening. Shakeel was $10 less, humorous, did almost all of the work in front of me in minutes, fixed an additional issue, and was an absolute pleasure. I don't know how common my experience with CPR is, but going forward, if I have another accident (oh please make it stop), I'm going back to Shakeel. TLDR: CPR caused an issue during screen replacement and then recommended insurance fraud over trying to resolve it themselves. Choose your own adventure.
