We had them come back a few weeks later to begin with taking out the wall between our dining and living rooms, as well as the fireplace. They were able to get started very quickly, and it only took around 2 weeks from start to finish. Everyone that was in on the project was very professional, kind, and mindful of everything. We have an 11-month-old, and they did a great job with keeping the noise down during her nap times. They were very good at communicating what times they would be at the house and when they left and came back from breaks/lunch. The work that they did was incredible! You would never know that we had that wall or the fireplace in the house if you walked in today! The beam that they added along with the drywall and paint looks seamless! There was a little height discrepancy between the rooms, meaning that we had to remove more flooring than we originally anticipated; however, the company had discontinued that particular line and replaced it with a new one. Ralph called numerous dealers and was able to find us 3 boxes left! The fact that he spent the time to find the flooring for us shows the commitment they have to satisfying the customer! I will leave you with a few pictures of the before, during, and after. The work was amazing, the workers were incredible, and I will definitely be using them again for future projects!

It's hard to believe that this BEAUTIFUL kitchen belongs to us! Since we had burned by contractors for other jobs in the past, I did my due diligence. Craft was recommended to me by a friend, but I still checked with references and got honest feedback from their past clients. Fortunately, Craft delivered in every way. I would highly recommend them to others without ANY hesitation. Our project required architectural plans and structural engineering as we needed to remove walls. The timeline Craft gave us was adhered to and weekly communication kept us apprised of what work would be done each week. The crew was highly skilled, friendly, and clean. Since we were still living in the home during the remodel, we appreciated the crew's cleanliness and accommodations. Craft brought in expert craftsmen to build our cabinetry and fabricate our stone; both of whom were willing to customize our kitchen with unique touches specific to our requests. When questions arose, Chris and Jennifer addressed them immediately or patiently awaited our decisions. The two of them are a WINNING TEAM and were always willing to listen to our ideas and brought our dreams to fruition! They truly aim to please and care about their clients. I have been thinking about having my…read moreBathroom Remodel for quite a few years, but never wanted to pull the trigger because as we all know, at least in my experience, the most difficult aspect of any project is choosing who you will be working closely with. One day as I was in my AQUA CLASS, a fellow swimmer was also in the middle of a Bathroom Remodel. I asked who she had contacted to begin her project..........it was SD Construction !! As she raved about the service that had been provided, it took me less than a few seconds to pick up the phone and made that call. For me, I felt as though that was more than 50% of the project already completed just by making that decision. Now onto my overall review. Over the last 30 years in my home, I have subcontracted various projects throughout the years myself. I learned what was reasonable expectations and what was not! From the first phone call to Sammy, which ,by the way, was returned in two days, to the final day on a Sunday, every one of my expectations went above and beyond what I had previously experienced throughout the years. From Sammy sr, the owner, to the project manager, Sammy Junior, and every specialty aspect of a CONSTRUCTION project, plumbing electrical, Tile setting, it was similar to watching a well orchestrated dance. From demolition to completion, It was approximately a three week. Period. I would like to give a shout out individually as well. James R. Is an amazing Tile setter. He was perfectionistic, creative always punctual, and went above and beyond my expectations. James B. Who was my plumber for this project, was equally amazing. Always arrived on each specified day and time as scheduled. he had to demonstrate a certain amount of patience due to the fact that I had decided to custom order all copper trim for my bathroom. Needless to say, I had no idea the length of leadtime in receiving the end product. James B was here the next day to install all trim. Both the owner as well as the project manager were constantly in contact with me with updates as the project progressed. I have learned over the years 2 of the most stress provoking issues with any home project is lack of communication and commitment to remain on task. If there was greater score than AA++........it would be posted for this company. Communication and commitment was demonstrated throughout. OK, a sidenote about myself. I am not easily satisfied with less than a perfect outcome. Everyone on this project gets a definite additional score just for walking the journey with me personally. There's some things to be said about family owned businesses versus the huge corporations that we are bombarded with. Having professionally worked as an RN in a huge conglomerate where people became very insignificant. It was a breath of fresh air, to be heard as well as supported, working with this company!! Now to the best part of this review, I will add some pictures and proudly show what a great job this company did. Thank you, SD CONSTRUCTION.
