DO NOT USE!!! I dealt with Gary to order shooting shirts for my basketball team. When the order came in, the arm length of the large shirts were past the players hands. They looked like they were wearing shirts made for giants. Since I only ordered 2 larges out of 15 shirts in the order, I called Gary back to request that he reprint those shirts in a different size, since the shirts were unwearable. Without hesitation, he rudely told me he will not do anything about the shirts. He told me he can not, and will not, make all of his customers happy and I have to deal with it. I told him that this product shouldnt even be sold since the fit is so terrible. He replied by telling me he doesnt sell these shirts to anyone else. Why wouldnt he tell me that before I ordered them!?! Basically, he knew there was an issue with this shirt and chose to sell it to me anyway. Very rude and completely unprofessional. These guys are the absolute best! Ignore the bad reviews on the site.They are people complaining about ordering one shirt. Doesnt even make sense. I am a phys ed teacher and a coach and have gotten everything from custom made sweatshirts, t shirts, basketball uniforms, volleyball uniforms, and so much more. The guys at the shop are so helpful and get the job done perfectly and quickly. I have used them for 5 years and will continue to do so. I cannot recommend this place enough. I placed an order through my son's school for gym uniforms for a large and when I got home I realized he need next size up so I called to change size and they said no problem the size will be updated. Sure enough got my order today and it was the wrong size and I was told they can't do anything about it. The male who answered the phone kept laughing and when I said I don't think this is funny he said its not but I theirs nothing I can do. Very unprofessional!! read more

I've used Baxters through out my high school athletic teams for years. When it came to my fire department's clothing it was the WORST experience with a clothing shop I have ever had. Not only did they mess up my order and print the wrong sized items, but they refused to admit that they messed up and expected us to pay if we wanted to keep the mis-printed shirts. When I called as an official member of my company to discuss the issue I was rudely spoken to, and then hung up on not once, but twice. I was told that "it's none of my business what happens to the misprinted shirts" that have my fire department's OFFICIAL name and logos on it. I'll be making sure to spread the word. Our department doesn't normally order from them, and this was us taking a chance on a new vendor that we've experienced in the past. We will NEVER be using them again. read more

So I placed an order for my daughter's high school team and everything seemed to be going smooth until I picked up order. I specifically stated that we wanted the last names on the middle of the back on the sweatshirt and it even says that on the order form which they wrote. Well they decided to place the names on the upper back but really high up so that it looks weird. When I called and spoke with Tom who took our order he was rude and basically had the attitude of "so what" and said he wasn't going to do anything about it. I wouldn't normally care about something that seems menial but the placement of the last name is so high up it is almost at the neckline and looks strange. Called today to see if I could exchange sweat pants. A man named Tom (O'Garry?) answered and was soooooo rude. He sounded like a psycho, cursed at me and said he would "curse out a priest if he felt like it because he's not Catholic" and he then maniacally laughed. Really sick. Inform your teams to stay away. I had some shirts made here for a team I'm coaching and they did a nice job on the shirts but we needed to order one more. I realize that printing one shirt isn't extremely profitable but they just flat out refused to do it, they wouldn't even give me a price. I called a local Embroidme franchised (the one on Rt. 110 in Huntington) and he said he would do what he could to make the shirt so we wouldn't have one player without a uniform. He said just get me the jersey and I will do the printing, so I called Baxter's and asked if I could buy one jersey with no printing and the guy said "the shirt supplier won't even ship me one jersey". I called the Embroidme store back and gave them the name on the shirt label and he called me back 10 minutes later and said he just ordered one shirt for me from the same company, in other words, the guy at Baxter's could have done the same thing but didn't want to. The guy at Embroidme said he just needed the digital file that was made for the other shirts so he could make an identical one, so I called Baxter's and ask them to email me the file that they used and the guy told me "we don't have a digital copy, we just did it by hand". The shirt is lettered so they obviously didn't draw every letter on the shirt by hand so it had to be done on a computer. Baxter's refusal to help me get one more shirt made up has insured that I never use them again. If you are getting team uniforms made up I would definitely find another place because you never know if you might actually need some customer service after you pick up your order. read more

My first experience with Baxter's Sport Shop was about 12 years ago when a colleague recommended them for a small silk screened T-shirt purchase. Since then I have used Baxter's Sport Shop for two different organizations; the first a small purchase of T-shirts yearly for a local high school women's sports team, and the second, a much larger on- going order for a local 503c charitable organization that sells merchandise at their fundraising events throughout the year and raises between $60,000 and $90,000 yearly to be distributed to charitable causes. For both the very small order of t-shirts (under $100 cost to me) as well as my much larger purchases that are refilled several times a year, I have always found everyone I have dealt with at Baxters extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The staff have helped me design new t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc by showing samples of print, mascots, clothing samples that they use and much more. The last time I was in ordering for the larger organization Tom showed me a winter hat that they could embroider that alot of schools and groups had been ordering. I followed his suggestion but only ordered 24 to test the market. We sold them all at the next event we ran and needed to re-order immediately to fill orders we had taken. I would not have picked that item myself but have developed a trust in the Baxter staff's expertise. I have never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. They also have a very efficient turn around on pick up of the merchandise. I have also used Baxter's for three different family events to print up T-shirts, long and short sleeved versions. They were able to provide printed shirts in small numbers (some sizes I only needed 1 or 2 items) from XXL down to toddler sizes. Lastly I feel their prices are very reasonable. read more

Somethings never change...2 1/2 later after David R 's review on how his request for one more shirt was denied, it happened to me. I am sure there are plenty of others during that time. When I asked via email nicely to reconsider or tell me why he couldnt, I wasnt even afforded an explanation - Not even a reply. 3 emails later i gave up. You would think even after all of the business my wife has giving them from the school clothing sale, a response would be the least they can supply. This is arrogant and cocky!!! i was warned when we first used them that they would appear so accommodating and friendly but eventually their true colors would come out. Well it did. They are so many places around here that you can use. i wont suggest any, as I dont want you to think I am a competitor vying for your business. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND BAXTERS !!!! DONT BE FOOLED---SHOP AROUND, YOU CAN DO BETTER AND DEAL WITH REAL PROFFESSIONALS. read more
