I arrived and they asked if I had grippy socks and asked that I purchase them for safety reasons. They had plenty to choose from. The class size was very small (only 2 of us) so we got a ton of hands on attention and Grecia really made sure we were focused on the correct muscles for each exercise. The class was about 50 minutes long. I definitely would take a class from here again and would recommend to others!

Despite not knowing the full extent of my underlying issues initially, he instinctively knew how to modify exercises and ensure I was progressing in a safe and effective way. Regardless of how early in the morning our appointments are, the sessions are always approachable and enjoyable, which made sticking to the program so much easier. And I do believe it's the best gym around. During open gym hours - gym is closed 60-70% of the time which is incredibly frustrating since some people want to put in that extra work to really get better; plus paying them $180/month so I try to maximize my use of the gym itself. Not sure if it's a staffing issue but I probably have been turned away 50+ times thus far, quite frankly, it sucks. Can't have open gym hours if you're not open. Hopefully they improve at the new facility.

I had such great success with the program that I wanted to return and continue to build on the initial success I had achieved. I wasn't sure how an online program would compare to the in-person experience I had the first time. I was worried that wouldn't get the same amount of individualized attention. However, my personal coaches, Tom and Nicole, quickly put my fears to rest. My first day I had an in-depth conversation with my new Coaches. I was given my initial individualized meal plans, access to the Facebook groups, and other amazing online tools I would be utilizing during the program. The personal guidance provided by Tom and Nicole really helped me through my struggles with accountability and motivation! The check-ins keep me motivated to keep going and Stay On Track. And the special Facebook groups gives me access to other Lifelighters going through the program for peer support. The online program has allowed me to workout and maintain my diet on my schedule and on my terms. This means that I have been able to fit in online workouts when I Never would have made it to the gym, making working out Easier! The meal plans have been incredibly easy to follow and very realistic and user-friendly. Hunger isn't a problem. Little by little I have begun replacing small bad habits with healthier, more productive habits. As time goes by it becomes easier to maintain these healthy and productive changes. With the help and guidance of my amazing coaches I have lost pounds, body fat, some bad habits and plenty of negative thought patterns. I've gained a more positive self image, a healthier life style and a stronger mind and body - all while having some fun being a part of the Lifelight Fitness Family. Zumba classes still available when I decide to drop by again (you're too popular Alberto!) and no issues with the workout equipment. I also appreciate that they have a variety of channels playing so you can station yourself accordingly based on your preference.

The gym culture here is incredibly inconsiderate. Members regularly leave weights scattered everywhere without re-racking them, making it frustrating and unsafe for others trying to work out. There's a noticeable sense of entitlement--people act like basic gym etiquette just doesn't apply to them. What really pushed things over the edge for me was the cleanliness, especially in the restrooms. On more than one occasion, I've walked into stalls that were absolutely disgusting--unflushed toilets and, unbelievably, feces left on the toilet seat. That's beyond unacceptable for any facility, let alone one people pay to use. Management is also a major issue. The manager, Joe, doesn't seem to take complaints seriously. Calls go unanswered, and there's little to no follow-up when issues are reported. It feels like concerns are ignored rather than addressed. Overall, this gym has potential, but until management enforces basic standards for cleanliness and member behavior, I wouldn't recommend it.

Meanwhile the cardio machines sit empty (maybe 1-3 people on them ever at once) They have a TON of cardio machines. They could remove some and rearrange so there is more area for weight lifting ‍ Oh and the recovery used to be only for VIPs and by appt and now it's walk in for everyone...so we don't even use it. I haven't used it now for months. :( I spend so much time waiting that my workouts are too long to then do a recovery after! Sometimes they run out of towels, often the wipes to clean machines are empty...showers get built up with hair (shocking that people don't clean that up themselves!) Initially…read more I was somewhat hesitant, not sure what to expect but glad I made the decision to come in for One-on-one Training and a few classes. I really liked that the classes are small, every time I show up there is only 6-10 people in classes which is great for me and has allowed me to get more help with my form and accountability. I have also done 4 sessions with on One-on-One Personal Training with Coach Francisco so he could guide me and make suggestions so I can keep a routine going when I go back home. This has been priceless, I have never been able to maintain a fitness routine and get to the point where I enjoy it and miss not doing it. If you are in town for work or live in the area and you are seeking small personal classes with lots of teaching and accountable or seek more direction in the form of Personal Training I highly suggest you give The FIT Potato a try.
