I visited SRV physical therapy with a severe case of BPPV. David Wu who has expertise in this type of vertigo was extremely kind and thorough. He explained the condition, what caused it, and how to fix it. Even though he thought it would take several visits, after he gave me the "Eppley Maneuver" I was essentially cured. No recurrence since or dizziness. I would highly recommend David Wu to help if you have this particular condition. He's a great guy and knows his stuff. read more

I am a new patient trying to get my initial appointment. It should not be hard. I call several times, text couple of times, visited the office yet no appointment. On their website they indicated to text your preference for the appointment, I did that but they dont respond the text either. Talk to receptionist, no appointment there too. They call back but they dont give the appointment too, its recorded message. These was my second referral. The first one no call back at all. read more

Finished my PT. Had the most amazing experience. Not only is the office staff and management amazing so are their physical therapist. I dealt with Sarah Stallings and she was amazing. More than anyone could ask for not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she's extremely personable. She didn't make you feel as though there was something wrong with you. She kept encouraging that you will get back to who you were. The entire staff at this facility goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend San Ramon Valley physical therapy to anybody. Can not say more about Sarah. Amazing. read more

Dom has worked on both my spine as well as my right hip. Over the years, I've had several surgeries and rehab stints with many PT's. Dom is excellent, both in terms of explaining what each of the exercises are meant to do and of course his PT work performed on me. I highly recommend Dom as he's also very personable too. I would highly recommend SRVPT at San Ramon for their expert, high quality and caring service. The facility is clean, office staff is efficient and the physical therapists are courteous and very focused on providing you tools to recover and maintain strength. The appointment time is always 30 mins one-on-one with the therapist, followed by 15-20 mins of heat/cooling/electrical stimulation etc after the workout. read more

I highly recommend Orna as a physical therapist . I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease when I began therapy treatment. My gait, balance, mobility and stamina were all problems negatively affecting my quality of life. Due to the therapy I received from Orna my condition has significantly improved. I am motivated to continue the recommended activities that Orna has presented and optimistic that I will live a more stable life. Thank you Orna for your invaluable support. read more

I have been going to this practice and the Danville clinic for many years as I get more physical ailments and repairs! I have only praise for the staff and the physical therapists in both offices. Derek, Becky, Cherie ate all very knowledgeable and have treated me very professionally. I was impressed with Derek who called me before a procedure because I wanted his opinion. I thought this was going beyond the call of duty. So I would heartily recommend this practice! Plus they have a great appointment texting system for being on the waitlist. It might seem impossible to get appointments as soon as you need them but the waitlist is surprisingly short and I have been lucky to get in a lot sooner. read more

I was referred to Dominick and San Ramon Valley Physical Therapy by a friend and colleague to address a worsening lower-back & sciatica problem in order to avoid more drastic measures (i.e., injections or surgery). I am so grateful for the recommendation because Dominick, who is very experienced and really knows his craft, was able to address the issue immediately and provide immediate pain relief therapy and to give me a practical, executable regimen to support increased exercise activity and health. I give Dominick and SRVPT my highest recommendation. read more

Have now used SRVPT for therapy after shoulder surgery last year and now while recovering from knee replacement. Cheri has been my physical therapist for both and she is outstanding--great to work with, always encouraging and positive, etc. I always look forward to my sessions and seeing the healing taking place. The office staff is always warm and friendly and well organized. read more

I have gone to San Ramon Valley PT many times over the years for my neck, back, hip and now my knees. I usually see Dom but the other therapists are also really good. I have always gotten rid of my pain. I love that they really listen to me and give me great exercises. They also give me printouts so I don't forget what to do. I actually enjoy going as everyone is so welcoming. I've gone to other places in the past but SRVPT is the very best. read more

This place was recommended to me by a great massage therapist, but my experience there was nothing but disappointment. During my first appointment i got my rib poked so hard that I was in pain for 3 weeks and even went to get X-ray to rule out broken rib. I made sure not to see same therapist when I returned and things seem to get smooth. Until I found out that they can't see me because they need referral. I explained that I already saw orthopedist couple months ago, gave his name to obtain a referral. A months later - same story - they need a referral. I called them again, left doctor's name again. Just to find out in person during my next visit that they don't have it again. So I left another voicemail ( they don't always pick up during work hours). Then I called again 2 days ago , finally got hold of a lady, gave her all the info and she assured me she would call back if any issues. She never did. You can probably guess what happened when I came for my appointment today ? Yes, they turned me back, saying they don't have a referral. Sounds like a bad joke, I am not coming there any more read more

I am so grateful to Derek at SRVPT for giving me my life back! After I ruptured my achilles tendon on the first of the year, I was finally given the green light in May to start going to PT. I had never gone to PT before, but told my surgeon I wanted to get back into running as soon as possible. He said my best chance at doing so would be by going to see Derek at SRVPT. I've been visiting Derek 2x week for about a month now, and I have noticed a tremendous improvement. Each week, he spends the first half giving me hands-on therapy and teaching me something new about the tendon or the healing process. He then creates custom exercises for me to complete on various machines from the reformer to TRX bands. Every session is very productive and it also helps that the staff is so friendly and nice. I genuinely look forward to coming here! read more

I saw them almost six years ago after back surgery. They were optimistic that I would get back to where I was before the injury. And I did. I recently returned after suffering an aggravation to the same area of my back. I feared I would need another surgery. But once again, with persistent work I am well on the way to good health. I recommend the office. Dominic was my therapist the first time and Megan this time. Both were excellent. read more

I had shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum and impingement. After considering several PT clinics, I chose Derek V to help me rehab my shoulder. Derek took the time to clearly explain the rehab plan while setting realistic recovery expectations. His assessment and rehab program was perfect for a timely recovery. After 20 weeks, I am back to full activity without pain, thanks to Derek's hands-on technical approach. Not only is Derek an amazing PT, he is a great person. I highly recommend Derek to help you with your PT needs. read more

Updating with another 5 stars! Back again at SRVPT after a different surgery and have incredible confidence that my PT will go as great as last time. I have been going to physical therapy with Charissa twice a week for the past month. The office is very clean and they are taking every precaution including taking temperatures before entering the exercise room. Charissa is very calm and patient with me and explains the benefits of the exercises before I do them. I end the session with electrotherapy, which is a nice and relaxing way to finish the hour. read more

San Ramon Valley Physical therapy: I would recommend Susan she is fantastic as my physical therapist and Steph as the assistant both are very caring. I am usually there well over an hour and feel so much better when I leave. I'm not rushed and they take time with exercises and stretching as well. Thank you San Ramon Valley physical therapy! read more

After a rotator cuff surgery my whole upper body went into an extreme inflammatory response, everything cramped up, I no longer could use my elbow and hand properly, and I was in constant pain. Luckily I got referred to Derek at San Ramon Valley Physical Therapy. I have been seeing him twice a week for over an year (there goes the "P.T. once a week for half an year, work again after three months" that I heard before surgery). I had several serious set backs, and I am still healing from the physical trauma of the surgery to my body. YET: the fact that I can do nearly everything again is simply thanks to Derek. He does great HANDS-ON body work, again and again and again. He really listened to what I had to report, even if it sounded crazy, and figured out what was causing pain and hindering my flexibility. But most importantly, for the first few terrible months he not only helped me physically but also encouraged me again and again that we will get there, that I will get well again. Without the expert treatment of Derek, I would never have regained the basic flexibility and strength of my upper body that I need for daily tasks, work and sports. He literally got me back together. I have had many different P.T.s over years of mishaps, and I know from experience that there are only few P.T.s out there who do such a great work as Derek. read more

Ok, now that i've had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders, and been thru physical therapy with Derrick on both occasions, I guess i am qualified to give an opinion. Preliminarily, the combination of Dr. Kirk Jensen and Derrick at SRVPT have changed my life for the better. I like to consider myself a multi-sport athlete and the shoulder injuries had the potential to make me into a very unhappy man. Dr Jensen did an awesome repair of my injuries (twice) and Derrick got me back on track to do what i love to do the most: swim, run, climb, play tennis, and on and on .... Nothing but praise for this business and for Derrick read more

I started PT over a year ago for my broken right arm (humerus bone) with very little range of motion and no strength at all. I have had a significant improvement in my range of motion. Now working hard on my strength. I just want to point out that my therapist Karen has been 100% supportive in my improvements. She gives me home exercises written out and explains how and why they are important to my recovery. Karen's enthusiasm with my progress keeps me trying harder. The reception and assistance staff are great. I highly recommend San Ramon Valley Physical Therapy, Karen and staff. read more

Really happy with the service provided by Dominick and the staff. Appointments were always on time with no wait and the PT was just what I needed to get back in the game. Thanks SRVPT! read more

Dominic admitted to not reviewing the post op report before for my first post surgery appointment. After my first meeting I was experiencing pain, he did not return my call to help answer my questions. I waited for over 30 minutes prior to my initial appointment without any regard for my time. First of all - it's super convenient - near all the other medical offices on Camino Ramon. Best of all, Susan Hood!! Susan greeted us, super friendly, upbeat, and made both me, and my nervous 15 year old feel extremely welcomed and at ease. They specialize in sports and spinal injuries and are professional and informative. My daughter was also given things to try out at home to speed her recovery to get back to the sport she loves. Busy office, but highly recommend! Thank you again Susan and Claire - as I was sitting in the waiting room, both were busy making appointments easy, and filing quickly any cancelled appointments! = 2 thumbs up! Susan is very accommodating! read more

Excellent care!! Highly recommend! If you do the work they suggest you will feel better fast.

It sounds like they have some good therapists there. However, my experience was the worst P.T. experience I have ever had. I highly recommend you get any of the other therapist than Dominick Gabor. He was rude, short, uncommunicative, unprofessional from the minute we started our session. This is what I know: After the Ultrasound, stem modalities were done he came back in the room pretty much threw an exercise sheet at me which had different instructions than which he had stated, and then told me, I looked at your MRI. there is nothing wrong and I don't think you should come back. If your want to see a swollen knee I'll show you one. I think he was in shock that I did not respond in a negative manor. He actually looked down at the ground when I continued like nothing had been said. I went out and made appointments until I could get my other appointments made. I made this appointment with them because my regular P.T. practice was so far booked out and I could get into his practice the next day. I now see why. When I called My old practice and mentioned I had a negative experience at San Ramon P.T., and would like to get on the waiting list, the receptionist interrupted me and asked if it was Dominick Gabor? She then mentioned that they get complaints about him all of the time. Hence my first review. read more

Dominic who goes as Dom is the most talented and diligent Physical Therapist I have ever had the pleasure to get myself treated with. In Dec 2017 I had right shoulder Arthroscopy and all the credit for recovery goes to Dom as now I can do 5 pull ups with ease post stretching exercises that he has ingrained in me. He approaches the issue of long term lifestyle changes rather than quick fix and his diagnosis capability is by far the best and to the point. As recently as last week I had issues with my Left Achilles heal and also Lower right back pain and he is making me go through the same diligent process to reduce the pain and make lifestyle changes for the long run. If you want to have healthy joints and want to be active post pain, he is the go to man in my opinion. Thanks Dom. See you on the next visit read more

My doctor recommended PT for my sciatic nerve problem. I began a program with the San Ramon Valley Physical Therapy . I wore a mask, as did my therapist and my temperature was also taken before beginning my session. My therapist worked hard in applying pressure to areas of my back. Next, I had stimulation pads attached to my back for 15 minutes; followed by a large hot pad. I was given exercises with bands to work with at home. read more
