The venue we got married at, Kirby Hill Farm, was stunning but Ali's work really highlighted the beauty of the farm and added the extra pop I was looking for. I knew when I saw Debbie and Ivy's work that I absolutely had to have them (Flowers by Jo-Ann) for my wedding. I know if I'm admiring more traditional pinks and whites (not my thing) that if they could work with darker colors, it would be sublime. I can't go on enough. I really can't. Debbie is a dream to work with. We started with an hour long appointment going over every single thing that I needed or never knew I needed but really wanted. Debbie is very conscious of budget and I'm terrible because I didn't have a budget in mind at ALL, but knew I couldn't have every single thing I wanted (and what I wanted was every inch of the venue covered in arrangements by Flowers by Jo-Ann!!!) She will go over your vision with you (mine-- dark glamour, fall colors, Halloween but nothing too obvious) and create a Pinterest board. Then you'll have a phone call about a month out and discuss more. The result was PERFECTION. Seriously. I cannot cannot cannot stop gushing. Originally I thought I'd save some money and get creative with the table centerpieces myself. About 6 weeks out, I knew that wasn't going to happen, so I was able to discuss some affordable but still beautiful options with Debbie (candles, with flowers and greens). When I walked into the venue last week and saw how they transformed the place into a dark candle and floral paradise, I about lost my mind with happiness. It could not get any better than this Besides the large arrangements and centerpieces, my bouquet and the wedding party bouquets were so gorgeous, we couldn't stop holding them. There were artichokes, dark roses, pops of orange roses, dark purple mums, black calla lilies on mine, and other flowers that I can't quite identify. So beyond gorgeous. Of course I dont know anything about flowers but I did do my research about the flowers I wanted. And with the little knowledge that I had it seemed like I knew more about the flowers than the florist itself. Some weren't sure about the name of the flower I wanted. It was 4 weeks before the wedding, I was already freaking out, I had no idea what we were gonna do. I was even thinking of going to a flower market to pick the flowers myself and make the bouquets and the centerpieces the day BEFORE the wedding. Fortunately my sister in law sent me @levonneinspirations@outlook.co page. I contacted her and she replied promptly and even tho it was last minute she agree to meet with me and discuss my ideas. Going to the meeting I was thinking alright this going to be like the other florists I met with. NOT AT ALL! She spent TWO HOURS with us just discussing about what I wanted, asking me questions, showing me ideas! She knew what she was talking about, took notes of everything. At the end of the meeting I went home feeling happy and secure. The morning of my wedding, when she gave me my bouquet I was so surprised and happy. My bouquet looked like the one I saved in my pinterest! It was so detailed and very delicate. I got married under a gazebo and she made it look so unique and special. The center pieces were all so amazing. I was very proud of myself for choosing her as my florist. STILL AM! With her you dont have any worries. You dont have to worry if you're going to get the flowers, dead flower, or if you're going to get a different look than what you wanted. She takes your idea and brings it to life.
