    Absolutely Flowers is Absolutely Amazing! They truly came to the rescue on my wedding day when my flowers from Sam's Club were not delivered because of Hurricane Helene. Not only were the flowers beautiful but they were ready in about two hours. I would not have had such a beautiful wedding without them. Thank you (especially Chloe) from the bottom of my heart!

    So just a few hours before my wedding day I walk into absolute flowers who have been servicing the Middletown area. Since 1997 I believe I moved into the neighbourhood in 1999. So I need a haircut and needed a bouquet for my wedding walked in the owner took care of me came back half an hour later with a new haircut he didn't recognise me. But he did such awesome job on the bouquet.

    Owner never called me back... oh well, Shoprite florist is amazing, flowers lasted over a week!!!

    They advertise "order within 6 hrs and 41 min for same day delivery" when that isnt true.

    Negative 5 STARS They should be ashamed of themselves!! Extremely unprofessional. They DO NOT care about the customer. Never been somewhere that wanted to disagree and argue with the customer more than this place. !!!Long, detailed, honest review!!! !!!Not Happy!!!!! Lied multiple times!! First off they either delete or dont publish bad reviews on their website so it looks like all good reviews when most of their yelp reviews are terrible. They clearly do not care bout the customer at all and cannot own up to their mistakes, apologize, and maybe offer a future discount. I ordered on the website and since i was probably not gonna get their before closing, i ordered same day delivery, which was advertised. Once closing time started to approach and still no delivery, i called to see the status of my order and if it was available to pick up, no one answered any of my calls. Needless to say my girlfriend Valentines day was not met with flowers or chocolate or anything that was ordered. The next day after work, i had 4 missed calls and 3 voicemails from them saying they tried to deliver "twice today" but no one was there to receive. Thats because my girlfriend was home the day I scheduled the delivery. Not the next day... in addition i also got an email saying they delivered my order at 12:33pm which was not true! You can see in the pictures that they were still trying to call me at 2:34pm so i don't understand the delivery confirmation email. So they lied. I called and told them i would like a refund and janet told me "thats not fair", told me they tried twice on Valentines day and no one was there which is not true , she was home all day waiting. i asked "why did they never call me? I left a phone number. I never got a call!" She told me "oh yea i dont think they had the labels..." saying something that was passing blame onto a worker instead of owning up to the mistake as a business. A simple call wouldve made this a pleasant experience. Either way, thats not my f**k up! I use to be a delivery driver, i know how things are supposed to work. Its not rocket science. Anyway she insisted she deliver my order (a day late) i did not want it anymore. The damage was done. After i continued asking for a refund she said "oh i see you placed the order online so i cant give you a refund." When i asked why it makes a difference, she could not give me an answer and just said she "held them for me and they are really nice and fresh and i can bring them right now!" So clearly she was lying. Why cant i just get a refund and a sorry? After she clearly wasnt going to give me a refund, i demanded an upgrade because i spent a lot of money and got nothing. She told me "oh of course! Absolutely! No problem! Im gonna put in another box of chocolates, ill call the company to give you back 50$. When my order arrived, i got exactly what i ordered, no extra chocolate, nothing extra (besides 3 flowers added to the bouquet that dont even match the arrangement.) I called to tell them i was disappointed and that if they "just gave me a refund i would've gave them my future Buisness. But now i will never return and i will be leaving them a bad review." Janet then says "woah woah woah! I called the company to give you back 50$ and added those flowers to the bouquet they are beautiful! And would normally be an extra 35$" When i told her the upgrade was insulting compared to the 300$ i spent, she tried to say "you didnt spend that much" and tried to break down what i paid for. I said "are you seriously telling me i didnt pay that much?!" (Now im mad. This is extremely unprofessional) she says "one second im pulling it up" ..... "I DONT NEED YOU TO PULL IT UP, I KNOW WHAT I PAID" This could have all been avoided and we couldve walked away with a good experience but she was too unprofessional. It wasnt the late delivery thats keeping us from returning, its 100% the crappy customer service, the lying, and complete lack of accountability. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUISNESS.

    The arrangement that was delivered was nothing like what was shown in the picture! Don't waste your money & time at this place.

    I Placed an order online to be delivered for my Mother-in-law's birthday, since I live in Manhattan I couldn't deliver them myself . I loved the 'Jubilation' arrangement in a square vase as shown online. Towards the end of your purchase in the 'cart' it does say 'When you order custom designs, no two arrangements are exactly alike and color and substitution of FLOWER May be necessary'. But, it did NOT mention anything about the vases being substituted. She got what looked nothing as beautiful as the picture online. She did NOT get the square vase I saw in the picture. The vase that the flowers were delivered in, was AWFUL! I called to see if were able to deliver another one like what I had initially ordered and payed for. They could just have picked up the other one they sent in the first place. George said they were sorry and could not deliver another one.(Mind you I paid $10 for delivery). My mother in-law does not drive, and they said they had too many deliveries tomorrow so they COULD NOT deliver anything to her tomorrow either. What kind of customer service is that?!! It was their mistake. She would have to go to the flower shop herself to pick out another arrangement and return the one she got. I decided I wanted my refund. Janet ,the manager, said the only way they could give me a refund is if my mother in-law came to drop off the flowers by 6:30pm, it was 5:15pm already, then that's the only way I could get a refund. Or if she dropped the flowers off tomorrow depending if the flowers are 'DAMAGED' she might or might not be able to get a refund. So I said , she will come in tomorrow and you will just tell her that they are 'DAMAGED' so you guys WON'T give any refund. She said well your mother in-law was happy when the arrangement was dropped off. First off, the flowers were not given to my mother in-law , they were given to a co-worker of hers. And no she DID NOT like them. I did say however, what girl isn't happy to get flowers at her work place? Awful or not. I was very unsatisfied with their professionalism & service. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN & NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT to anyone . JANET was not accommodating at all. What I wanted to be a nice gesture on my mother in-law birthday, turned out to be a NIGHTMARE!

    Never have a problem at this flower shop. Employees are nice and helpful. I love their suggestions when I'm not quite sure what I want.

    I was obnoxiously followed like a shadow around the gift shop during my last visit about two weeks…read moreago, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm an Adams' fan in general. I love trying new things and love that most staff know their departments and aren't hesitant to share opinions when asked and sometimes even when they aren't. It reminds me of old school service, and I haven't been steered wrong by their input yet. When this location first opened, I constantly had issues checking out at the front registers. For example, a deal might be advert but not reflected on my receipt, or I could buy three lemons and be charged for four mangos and issues like that. So, I am diligent about checking my receipts, but I haven't caught any issues like that in the longest time. I love that if I come in for items in one of their specialty areas, I can just check out right there and skip the front registers all together. I think this is why I do more impulse buys here than other supermarkets. The prices are high, but I've heard staff say they are treated well. Because of that, I don't mind paying extra. I actually hope the store expands so I can avoid shopping at stores without that reputation. I might avoid this location's gift shop, though.
