I can see how it was a little frustrating when all the renovations were going on and the gym had frequent closures, but now that it's done I feel like it was definitely worth it.

But we do love the fans in the bays haha! Even on the busiest days, we haven't had any issues finding two bays next to each other. And they do get busy. Their concessions have $5 beers which is sweet. Their field is beautiful with plenty of flags to aim for. It's been really fun to watch myself progress here. Huge, gorgeous facility. Such a blast every time we go.

There is a lazy river, swimming areas (of course), lap lanes, diving boards, a fake tree with a rope swing, water slides, lounging areas and a concession area that sells food and drinks. Lots of lifeguards around. There are also pickle ball courts, a playground and bathrooms across the parking lot. The part I didn't love was the women's bathrooms/shower room. They were old and kind of gross. The lockers themselves are outside the bathrooms and are on the small size- bring your own lock! Also there is no outside food or drinks allowed. (Nobody hassled me about my water bottle for class, but technically the center was mostly closed at that point.) I think this would be really fun for families.

I went several times with a twelve year old and a fifteen year old and we all had so much fun. It fills up quickly on nice days so don't wait until you feel it's prime time to go to the pool, you will not get the best seats in the house and the place kind of crowds up quickly. From the pool to the swinging rope to the little snack bar, you will have a great time and won't be disappointed I'm sure. Oh, and can you say Doggie Dive In?? Don't forget to bring your four legged friend the day/weekend after labor day. Our pups always have a fantastic time!

DBat came up on a google search and was conveniently located so I went to their website to check it out. It was super easy to register, sign up and make reservation. Kudos for great on-line experience! Telling my grandson we were going to a batting cage was a hit and we headed to the batting cage. I was very impressed when walking in. It's been a minute since I was a softball coach and seemed to live in batting cages. Upon entering you'll find a great pro shop with softball and baseball gear. The check-in experience was easy with great staff. You'll have different cages to choose from; ball machine (kiosk driven), live pitch/hitting and pitching mound. Even with a 6 year old the pitching machine was awesome. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to get a cage. I would imagine a longer wait during prime times as there are only 3 cages with pitching machines, but you can reserve on-line. D Bat has a great selection of clinics and lessons that you must check out. A great find for the baseball/softball community along the I-44 corridor.

It has a few slides to choose fromt and the lilly pad for the smaller ones. I didnt try any of the foods or treats that are offered by the facility. Overall a good, clean, fun pool for a deacent price. ($8 for non resident, $6 for resident). I will be back!
