Perfect! Such a great aquapark, full of fun things to do! From toddlers to adults I think this place is a great place to go to swim or just even lounge around. I went several times with a twelve year old and a fifteen year old and we all had so much fun. It fills up quickly on nice days so don't wait until you feel it's prime time to go to the pool, you will not get the best seats in the house and the place kind of crowds up quickly. From the pool to the swinging rope to the little snack bar, you will have a great time and won't be disappointed I'm sure. Oh, and can you say Doggie Dive In?? We have been coming to North Point for a couple of years and things seem to have changed. The price hike up to $10 was a surprise! It felt a little grimy and the entire facility smelled like urine. At first I thought I was imagining it but I heard someone else make a comment about the pervasive odor. I still love the lazy river and there weren't long waits for the slides/diving boards. Lastly, while floating we overheard a conversation between two lifeguards. "Yeah, I was trying to throw it and I hit a kid. I smoked him right in the head!" (Laughter) "Nice!" (More laughter) Maybe these two shouldn't be working around children. read more

I really like this pool. It's kept fairly clean and there are a good number of options as to areas you can swim that are catered to certain ages. This season there was a price increase ‍ $15/ non resident person. And the birthday packages went up more than $150 from last years prices. Lazy River... I will say that I wish my small child under 40lbs but over the age of 3 could've sat in a double tube with a bottom it was stressful worrying about him falling through, and then when he did fall off the side from adjusting himself the lifeguard got on us about him not being in the tube for 5 seconds to which I was trying to help him get back in the tube. The lifeguard didn't try to help him even though he was obviously trying to get back in with his floatie on, I'm glad I made him keep it on. Also there was a lot of debris from the trees and plants in the lazy River, it would've been nice for this to be skimmed. read more

My 5 year old grandson visit me once a year and he loves going to the pool. Paying a non resident fee of $15 per person is ridiculous. The board voted 5-4 to adopt the parks and recreation department's recommendations to increase the fee by 50% with Mayor Tim Pogue casting the tie-breaking vote. We took our money to Chesterfield Aquatic Center and paid $9 per person. Sorry Napoli 2, you are in Ballwin. If Ballwin does not want us, we can go somewhere else. read more

I have been coming to this pool for forever but things have changed. The lazy river closed at 3pm the other day which is why we came. The food is way too expensive for what you get. The chicken tenders were gross. Didn't feel like chicken, it was burnt. They stopped selling the ice cream cookie sandwiches which I loved. The pool used to cost 6$ to get in now it's 10$. I get inflation and low staff but I was very disappointed. read more

I've loved the north pointe for years, but it's absolutely not worth $15 a visit per person for non-residents

5 stars.... great for up to age 15ish. My favorite water park I went to in Missouri (for families with small kids). The lazy river goes around the outside of the park, so it is nice and long.... and they have these super cool innertubes that are for people with small kids. It is a 2 person tube, where one side is normal and the other side doesnt have a hole. There is a bottom. So it is like a bucket your kid can sit in. Super loved that. The lockers are free, you just have to provide the lock. There are also lots of different kids of pools one is like a whirlpool, which is pretty cool. Some are super shallow for young kids. And there is a shaded splashpad area with a softer floor than concrete for young kids too. read more

Ah....my home away from home. Granted, there is a subdivision pool where I live, but sometimes my 12 year old nephew and I like to hit the water park. Enter, North Pointe. We have been going here for years. This park is pretty awesome. If you lived in the area, you remember the competition pool that was next to the golf course all those years ago and then basketball courts on the other end along with a playground, well not anymore! The North Pointe Family Aquatic Center is a state-of-the-art facility that features a competitive pool measuring 25 yards by 25 meters, with 10 lanes, two one-meter diving boards, a "Tree Swing," and an "Aqua Climb" rock climbing wall. Oh, did I mention, they have a lazy river? The Lazy River encloses a Leisure Pool with a beach entry, sprays, and a vortex. Also enclosed by the Lazy River is a Kiddie Pool with a beach entry and a large SCS play structure featuring the "Bucket Falls" bucket. If that doesn't sound enticing, how about: Adjacent to the Competition pool are one open-flume and one closed-flume two-story Water Slides. I know. I know. You have been hanging out on the lazy river ALL day and you are parched and hungry. Oh, not to worry, the park has concessions that include an outdoor grill and various food and drink options. They even have, wait for it, bosco sticks. Now what other water park has those? Seriously. The cost is awesome (for non Ballwin residents) compared to other parks. Non Ballwin: $7 for adults and children. Ballwin resident: $4 for youth (3-18) and senior (62+), and $5 adult. They also have a 20 visit swipe card and season pass if you want to go that route. In addition, they offer water fitness and have a swim and dive team (which is for lessons) or a competitive team known as: Ballwin Blue Dolphin Swim and Dive Team. Being a Ballwin resident, I think we are pretty lucky to have the Point. There is a ton of cool pool related activities for the whole family to enjoy. Unfortunately, I don't get to go often, but we spent a good deal of our day there today. All age groups can have a great time here as the have a competition pool for the big kids and splash pools and the bucket falls for the young ones. Not to mention, the lazy river is awesome to just drift along in and cool off. read more

Just a typical city pool. Has potential to be really fun but is not because of liability issues. Fun water slides and the lazy river is not to bad but me and my brother got yelled at 4 times for not staying on the edge of the pool in the deep end. Also after about 15 minutes the pool closed because of thunder. Totally understandable I guess it was just a bad day for us. Food is decently priced surprisingly. Overall the pools not that bad just could be a heck of a lot better. read more

We were in town from California. We have enjoyed our stay here thus far and Mo. has so much to offer in the way of family entertainment. We thought our visit to NPFAC was going to be a memory of a lifetime for our girls, and we were right but for all the WRONG REASONS! First, we had an infant with us and we were going to have to pay for all members regardless of age. We opted to not pay for those that were not going to use the facility. That split up half our family from the get go. Second, my smallest was a half inch too short to use the large slides so she was not allowed on that side of the center. No biggie though, we would just let our two girls enjoy the other side together. WRONG!!!!! You cannot use the facility on one side if you are too short and you cannot use the other side if you are too tall!!! So you make me pay for an adult that is not going to use the facility because my kids are under twelve, but then you force them to split up so I cannot watch both???!!!! WTF!!! How ill logical is that? You expect me to allow the teen age, underpaid, kids you employ as staff watch my children??? I think not. My kids are about an inch apart. Absolutely ridiculous! I tried to explain that I did not feel comfortable separating my girls and not being able to watch both simultaneously. I was turned away. I decided to leave. We were there about 20 minutes. Now I'm all for rules and such but this was absolutely ridiculous. I decided to look for these rules at the front desk so I could discuss with staff. Guess what? No such rules that I could see. When we got back to our place I looked the website up on the internet. No such language at all!!! Again, Ridiculous. read more

Absolutely love this aquatic center. They have something for every age group. Very clean and big, so even on super hot days, it still doesn't feel that crowded. Lazy river is awesome. Prices are great as well! I just found my new summer hot spot. read more

This place is a lot of fun. A family could easily spend 4-5 hours a day during the summer here. We went during a really busy weekend and had to wait awhile for tubes for the lazy river. That's to be expected though, as that is probably the most popular part of North Pointe. My only complaint is that you cannot bring food/snacks in. I think they should allow food as long as it is eaten in the designated area. After spending the money to get in (we aren't Ballwin residents), I think they should let you bring in snacks. That being said, we ended up buying food from the snack bar. It was decent, but I will tell you that it took FOREVER to get it. The food is cooked to order, which is great....but when it's really busy it can literally take 20-25 minutes to get your burger or chicken sandwich. We will be back...but we will eat first!!!! read more

There is something for everyone here: Lazy river, splash pad, kiddie pool, lap pool, water slides, rope swing into the pool, rock climbing on side of pool. Plenty of chairs, lots of shade also. They have single tubes and double tubes (some double tubes have on "hole" not filled in for lil ones to sit in with parent. The concession stand has a variety of food also to pick from. This is by far our favorite aquatic center thus far. read more

My second time at this pool was much different from my first. I think this is just an example of the inconsistencies we experienced. Last time we were here we floated the lazy river for a good 45 minutes-an hour. My wife was in a double raft with my 5 year old in the side with a bottom. Not a word about it. This time only kids under 3 and a half are allowed in the ones with bottoms. So we get a double bottomless one for them. My daughter is petite, 35 lbs. She couldn't hold on by herself without slipping under and drowning! So another lifeguard said she could sit up with my wife. A little further down the not so lazy river, another lifeguard says she needs to be in a side by herself, which we already know she can't do. My wife tries to explain the other lifeguard said she was ok with it. Too which we got a snarky little attitude about how "sorry" she was someone else told us that, but this is what I'm telling you" Let's try to work on some consistency here guys ok? So I jump out of my single tube to assist my daughter in the other side. Literally seconds later aaaaaanother of Hitlers youth tell me to get in my tube. So I have to try and explain myself again to some high school twerp with a whistle and a sunburn. I'm a 40 year old man with a wife and daughter trying to enjoy my $21 trip to the pool, ya really need to back the... But I digress. Anyhow at this point we'd had enough of harassment river so we got off. My daughter wanted to play in the area with fountains and buckets and slides and such. Ok we go over there. She starts playing with a little water fountain squirting from a plastic pipe. The Fun police blow their whistle and tell her not to cover the hole. Ok I'm done. What's next you gonna blow the whistle on me for touching the water at the waterpark? Peace out not the most enjoyable 30 minutes of my life that's for sure. We won't return. You can keep your overcrowded, overpriced fascist oppressive prison yard. I'd rather swim in a sesspool. I'd have more fun getting ecoli. read more

This is an amazing facility, but they allow bus loads full of hundreds of day camp kids to go to the pool every single weekday. The pool is packed and lines for slides and tubes are crazy long. Not to mention the camp kids aren't always that well behaved (cutting in line, running, pushing kids, etc). Go in the evening and it's great, but very disappointing that it gets so incredibly crowded during the days). read more

I went here on about 6/18/12 & I was very impressed with how polite and helpful the staff was. They consisted of young adults & were just great. We had a great time. The prices for entry & food were reasonable. There is no shortage of deck chairs or loungers. But most of all I was very pleased with how pleasant the staff was. read more

What a waste of time and money... First off, I like to be prepared, so I called and asked what do I need to bring to show my residency is ballwin, to receive a discount. So I brought my unpaid ameren bill. We get there, excited to have fun, and I hand the cashier the proof of address and she tells me that because my mail goes through the city of Manchester "technically" we can't have resident prices. Ugh. Fine I'll pay an extra $3/person because my zip code is 63021 and not 63011... THEN my 4 year old and I go get in the lazy river and get stopped because she has water wings on. Apparently, "they don't allow any floaties in their pool". Ok....... Then my husband dives like any normal diver would do and gets told he shouldn't "double jump" off the diving board. The diving board has a SPRING on it so why couldn't he spring down and then up and do his awesome dive? Too many irrelevant "rules" here. NEVER COMING BACK!!! read more
