I purchased 3 batteries from Battery Shark a few years back for our alarm system. Our first one died recently so I plugged in the 2nd battery. Remarkably it was dead as well, despite no use. And then I plugged in the 3rd and it too was completely dead. I reached out to the customer service and they stated that if I had not charged each battery every few months, they would die. However, there were no instructions or information provided that indicated I needed to do as such. Battery Sharks customer service agent, Phil, was of no help or sympathy to resolve the issue given the mistake by Battery Sharks absence of any instructions or notification on these batteries. Absolutely horrific customer support. FIrst, they sent the wrong batteries. Then, instead of just exchanging for the correct ones, they engaged in a 30-day argument about how it was my fault that their system mateched me with the wrong ones! The final letter in the argument said words to the effect of "OK - I shall send you the batteries you need. You need these ones, right?" Nope. They ignored my previous letters, and STILL wanted to send me the wrong ones (after I send the other wrong ones back at MY expense)! I should have read the Yelp reviews first.... I used their catalog to look it up, they claim fast shipping, strike 2, the catalog was wrong, and you're out! I did not get my money back from these clowns because I'm not spending more money to ship it back and get charged for return fees. Given that this place had the cheapest replacement batteries on the internet I really was not expecting premium performance of the product I ordered. You get what you pay for and all. Well, this battery did something amazing that I did not expect it to do. It survived being deep cycled. I apparently ended a ride and left the key in the ON position. For a week. Tried to start the bike and No-Go. As expected. I was like CR@P. I removed it and was about to order another one. Then I said, Boy, humor yourself. Put it on the trickle charger for a while, just to prove you need a new battery. 1st 6 hours it went from 4. something volts to 5.something volts, then another long period saw it go up to 7 volts. TL:DR after 48 hours it was up to high 12.something volts. Put it back in the bike and the bike started. It has been on its second life now for about 3 months. Amazing. read more

These battery replacements for the Razor E300 are great, if you want to cut the old wires and re-solder on the new ones, or go to the hardware store and try to find replacement wire harness connectors. They won't pay for my return of their inferior product, and lectured me that they've been doing this for 10 years. Look at the attached picture, how would I cut these wires and reuse the wires on their batteries? Buy these and you're throwing your money away. read more

Today I received an email from Batterysharks stating that they were out of stock and asked if I would take a comparable battery. I ordered a battery for my 2001 Hayabusa. They sent me a generic battery that was not specifically designed for my bike and the battery terminals were in the wrong direction so it would be impossible to install this battery. It was similar to a battery that you just grab off the shelf at Walmart for $20. When I called the sales representative Anthony he was completely rude and admitted that he's never owned a motorcycle or ever change the battery on any vehicle and I don't even think he owns a vehicle I was not calling this country I was calling their sales in India. He had no idea what I was talking about I even sent him pictures and videos of how it was impossible to get my terminals onto this battery. And he said he would send me a return label and instructions how to return the battery I had called six times and they never sent an email and they refused to take the battery on return even though they haven't return policy I called the same day which was today that I received the battery he was actually arguing with me raising his voice and telling me to turn the battery on its side which is ridiculous and anyone knows that that can't be done on any vehicle and it wouldn't even fit that way even if it was possible there's only 8 inch on both sides of my bike to install the terminals. I know this is a long review but I just wanted to state that the sales person Anthony is completely not knowledgeable of any battery or how a battery design or how it's installed or what a terminal even means all he was doing was reading off the computer he admitted to me that it was a generic battery that was supposed to fit any motorcycle with the same dimensions of the size with no regard on how the terminals were facing. This place is a complete scam they tell you the emptier motorcycle and then it will come up with the battery but when you enter any motorcycle it comes up with the same battery if it's the same dimensions the Hayabusa takes a little bit more amperage than say a 250 motorcycle since it's 1300 cc this was a very low amperage battery and it didn't even read 12 V on my meter. After 12 phone calls and at least 20 emails they still have not sent me a return instructions or label This is a scam they just sent out the battery and they won't take an hour return so you're stuck with it. read more

On 11/4, because the tracking was not updating in the USPS system, I called Battery Sharks an was told USPS has not updated the information. I have called several times today. First call was answered with immediate place on hold and then subsequent hang up. All other calls say no one available. I have since read the YELP reviews and have decided to contest my charges and get my money back. I ordered the same battery 3 years ago. Great experience. Must be different ownership. Batteries might be a tricky business (says the last guy) but shipping and basic customer service isn't. If I pay you money, you get my item out the door or you give me my money back. That is a waste of my time and time is money. I ordered a battery for the a replacement in my ATV on 2/17. I kept checking the tracking all week and it never budged, never even made it to the facility. Here I am exactly a week later and my battery just now got to the facility to be shipped out. Compare this to another item I bought from a different vendor, purchased yesterday that has the exact same delivery date now as the battery. I am getting sick and tired of companies like this that let you purchase something, and then sit around forever on the item that you purchased, especially when I paid 10 dollars worth of shipping. On April 24th I placed and order from this company. Noticing this company is close to me I emailed them and asked if I could come into the store to pick up the item, I was informed the item was coming from IL and had already been shipped. On May 4th I called and finally was able to talk with someone, they said the item was on the was from Tennessee (OK which one is it from Illinois or Tennessee lol) I sent a second email sharing this with the company and they didn't have an answer but. I was informed of the timeline of when I ordered and the weekend & since they employees a third party to ship this to me they didn't have a tracking number and could not provide me with one but they insured me the item should be arriving any day now (this was Monday May 4th). Today May 8th I revive an email stating the batter has been shipped and provided with a tracking number but it doesn't work. I called, nobody answering the phones, web chat support said the tracking number will update tomorrow once the item is picked up from UPS. So, the employees Have lied to me more than once, nobody answers the phone and they say shipping in 3 days. I added my machine model number in the fitment tool on the site and got a list of batteries to choose from. In hindsight I should have verified the dimentions because when I got the batteries they did not fit my machines. I tried to return them, but the cost of return shipping which was not covered or discounted almost as much as the batteries themselves so I am out 100 bucks as a result of ordering from batterysharks. Maybe there's a reason they used the name of a predator in their company name. You're better off getting batteries locally, and the cost is going to be about the same and you can support local businesses. I've learned my lesson. read more

I bought a specialty emergency ballast from battery sharks and after determining that it did not work I began the return process. They were happy to take the ballast back, but once they received it, they denied that they sold that brand. After proving to them that they did sell it by providing a link to their website, sales receipt, and email proof from one of their team, they refused to return my money. Purchased 4 gel batteries in August 2019 to the tune of $319.00 with a 1 year warranty. It is now mid November 2019 and the batteries failed to hold a charge. Contacted batterysharks and they told me to give them a code off the top of the batteries, take voltages on the batteries and send the pictures to them. I did so. Then they said it would be better if I had them load tested and then send them the results. I did so at autozone. I took pictures of each battery's results( three of the four showed needing replacement) and sent those pictures to them. Then they accused me of trying to cheat them by taking a picture of the same battery multiple times. Which I did not. I bought two UPS battery from BS and the box was jerry-rigged to fit the batteries. Received the package ripped on one side exposing the batteries. One battery had a big dent on one corner but fortunately, it wasn't cracked. Batteries are heavy and have bought them from other companies and they come in nicely wrapped in a bubble wrap and packed in a correct-size box. Batterysharks, no such service exist. No more BS for me, now or in the future. Pay the extra $3 to get a better service from another company who you know and trust...I should have... lessons learned. read more

When I contacted they about it, they wanted me to take a picture of the voltage readings of the battery and some other bogus pictures they wanted of the battery. So, they expect the customer to spend additional money to purchase a voltage reader to send them picture of it? That is absolutely and utterly ridiculous. Why not just have the customer send the defective battery back and send the customer a battery that works. I think these people are recycling used batteries and don' t hold a charge and selling them to customers. They seem quite shady to me. Spend your money wisely and stay away from Battery Sharks. The battery arrived on time, and worked. BUT. The terminals aren't tapped with threads. You have to insert, line up and hold the nuts inside the terminals while you attach the battery leads. These people have never installed a battery deep inside a modern bike. Cursing, dropping and retrieving the nuts inside the bike. Literally sweating for nothing. Don't put yourself through this. She told me to take a picture of what I received and send it to her . She told me she was sorry and another one would ship right away. 2 days later I called back to see when I could expect my battery. Customer service said it was set to ship today but they missed the deadline. I ask to speak with her manager . he offered no help at all , said that this has never happened before and they will ship it out tomorrow. These people need to get it together.
