Fortunately, I decided to venture down a search into the more local small businesses and came upon this cool old school & quirky shop. I think the gentleman's name was Jim. Older dude that could pass as your nerdy techy friend who's probably collected every tech gadget since the original Tron came out. Told him what I was looking for but I gradually got discouraged as all he was showing me were the bigger style bigger sound units that are common for home systems. But, alas! With a little patience we revealed a new treasure: smaller desk top speakers! Minor speaker mesh stains on the front but super decent with a little TLC. He was super friendly and chill, even making an effort to find parts that could potentially be missing from this set (like compatible power cord). It also came with an amp box that I've got sitting below my desk table, which was a nice surprise (I keep it plugged in for the deeper sounds or just unplugged for more "regular(?)" crispy audio). All that for a really awesome deal; I think it was something like $15-30 or something crazy like that. Good shit, dude! Thank you.
