In the past, I needed an 8 volt battery for my 1945 jeep, and this shop stocked this unusual request. Fast forward, and my need is for an 18650 battery for my electronic projects. This is a specialty battery, and local retailers do not stock it. There are online shops, but the quality of product (usually from Asia) are suspect if one reads reviews. I brought my mom's car in to have the battery tested. Nick (I believe that was his name) was so helpful. He had to removed several parts to get to the battery posts and the battery did not need to be replaced. He had to put it all back together and said to come back in 3 to 4 months when you are ready to replace the battery. This type of honesty is rare and I will definitely come back. read more

If I could do a no star rating THIS WOULD BE IT. I had taken my phone in because I cracked my screen and T-Mobile gave me 3 locations to choose from that I could get it repaired at. I only had a crack on the edge of the right side of the screen with two lines going across the thumb print across the phone. I was able to fully use my phone as long as i used the Pen to use on the screen. Tell me why 4 hours later my husband (who waited for it) brings me not only the same cracked phone but now it is not working at all. The technician wrote on the invoice he was having to send in to the insurance that the phone was "fully operational", and yet gives my husband a phone that cant not be turned on let alone operate it at all! The technician tells my husband that now there is damage tot he mother board and to just get with the Insurance. IM SORRY NO!!!!! Why should my insurance have to cover that..."MY INSURANCE", NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. So now i have taken it to Stop to Fix and am having to have someone else work on it it to save what I can. How does a shattered screen come out perfectly and minimal damage go in and come out non-operational? is there anyone that can answer that? When I tried to give Batteries Plus a chance to make it right, I was told sorry we can't do anything about that and call your insurance back. If you value your phone, dont take it here. They don't even care to help the new repair shop that I took it to to fix either. He needed to ask what all they tried or just get a stance on what was done and they were condescending to him and treating him like he was an idiot. Some great customer service people!! I stand to lose over 20 years of contacts and records that they just have no regard for at all. I don't know about their other services, but do not come here for iPhone screen replacement. Their third party parts make the display more saturated, and now my battery drains so much faster than it used to. I have a 12 Pro Max and the battery is draining like an old iPhone 4 used to. Maybe worse. It's really bad. For reference, it's dropped 2% since I began typing this out. I'm not happy. My battery used to last forever, but now it's just dropping like crazy. Maybe I should have asked, but they didn't tell me beforehand that it was a third party part. Should have found an Apple approved place. Now I can't trade this in with Apple because they won't accept it with a third party screen. Paid over $200. If I knew this would be the result I would have just put that towards a new iPhone. The technician was nice and did a good job, and I'm sure they're good for their other services. This review isn't against anyone personally, just for avoiding this service in particular. Maybe they should make a point to clarify that it's a 3rd party screen, may effect the display, will void your ability to trade in with Apple, and let you know that it may impact the performance of your phone and battery. read more

I was fortunate to have the ability to repair this surge protector. The internal battery pack was replaceable and to top it off, the shop was able to recycle the old battery. Just like car batteries, sealed lead acid batteries cannot just be tossed in the garbage. Proper recycling is important. Autozone and O'reilleys both were the same price 117.99. Then I called this place, which I had never been to before and they had the best price 110$ with a 2 year warranty. I walked in and there were three young men in there who were all very helpful. They helped me as soon as I walked in and remembered my call, so already knew what I needed.
