Took my working iPhone 6s+ into the Lehi Utah store for a simple battery replacement. Phone was completely functional prior to taking it in, the battery just wasn't lasting as long as it used to. I pick up the phone and he indicated that the repair did not go well. It didn't appear to hold a charge. He mentioned that I could take it home and see if it would charge up over the weekend. I took the phone home and it would not take a charge, it would not connect to iTunes, basically it seemed like the port no longer worked. I took the phone back into them on Monday to give them the update and see what they were going to do. We sat down and had a very heated conversation as he said that he couldn't take my word that it was working before the repair, that I was likely trying to scam him. Despite the fact that they did an intake test that showed everything working on the phone including that it took a 1% charge before they took it off the charger to replace the battery. "I'm not calling you a liar, but I can't trust anything any customer tells me", that was his mantra. I'm not calling you a liar, but you're a liar. He was 100% certain that he couldn't possibly have broken my phone, despite the fact that I know it worked before I brought it in, and despite the fact that it passed their intake exam. He refused to put the old battery back in to test and see if that worked. He refused to do any additional work on it saying that he already tried 3 different batteries and he also tried replacing the port. His only response was to send me off to someone else to repair the phone at whatever cost they incurred. Or he could give me a refund for the repair and ignore the fact that he broke my perfectly working phone that simply needed a battery replacement. DO NOT use Batteries Plus for anything. They are clearly not competent to do the work, and they will refuse to accept any responsibility for the damage they cause in the process. read more

Came in with my Movado watch for a simple battery replacement. I had my watch protected when I brought it in and they took it behind the screen to open the black stainless steel back, which was previously unmarried, unscratched that had never been opened before - as a matter of fact, I even have photos of it right before taking it in. They deeply scratched and gouged the backside trying to get the back cover off and then couldn't even get it open. When I pointed out the damage to the clerk, she ignored everything I said and referred me to a jeweler. WTF! My watch is thrashed with no accountability. read more

I have to say when I walked into this store I was not expecting what I got! I walked in to get a new battery for my Tile (which is hard to find) and I mentioned that I might be interested in getting my key fob fixed. My key fob had been broken for two years after an accident involving me scaring my hubby and him throwing the keys at me thinking I was a murderer! The fob didn't work and the buttons are all missing. Within seconds they had fob working, and minutes later had an appointment set up to replace my case and buttons( they didn't have my particular case in stock). As I was waiting for them to check in their stock for my case, a lady came in asking for some help with her keys. The worker helped her and ended up not charging her because it was a "simple fix". The workers are going to go out of their way to help you! As I'm checking out they ask me if I want a duplicate key fob made while they were at it. I had been looking into getting a second key made and I was quoted between $350-$450 at the dealer and two other key makers. So at first I said no but then asked for a quote. They said they would do it for $150. I nearly died! So of course I said yes and I am just waiting to get back from vacation before I do it! I will update after I get my new keys. But so far don't bother going anywhere else! They were so helpful and fantastic! read more

I went here once a while back to have the battery in my watch replaced, they had a deal to replace it for really cheap. They ended up breaking my watch and refused to do anything to fix it. I paid for the battery and then they gave me my watch after paying, I went to put it on and noticed it was broken immediately and I told them. They weren't nice about it so I asked to speak to the manager, that went even worse, I was in shock about how horrible the manager was to me! It was an expensive watch too, I got it as a gift from a friend. I shouldn't have been fooled by the cheap offer, I should have known better and taken it somewhere else. read more

I stopped in this store to get my watch battery changed. The young man changed the battery and told me he set the time. No problem until I was asked for my phone # for the sale and I refused to give it out. I was then told they have to have a phone # to start the close of the sale. Why, I have no idea when I'm standing there with credit card in hand. I could tell he was ticked off, and finally, at his suggestion, I gave him a phony #. Once I was out of the store, I checked the indigo light and it wasn't working. I went back in to try to get him to check the install. I tried to explain to him that the push button that activates the light would not depress. He cut me off, closed his hands around the face of the watch and said he could see the light. I looked at it and tried it again, . and still the screen would not light up. Even his manager tried a different battery and still did not work. It was working when I had them change it and I'm not saying it was their fault that it doesn't work now, but their resistance and the display of attitude I got when I asked him to check to make sure the battery was installed correctly was definitely not professional. Retail is a hard business but this business is no different than any other. They need to be a good listener then be able to assess. What a waste because he seemed so capable. I'm sure they will be glad I will never go back to this Lehi Batteries plus. read more

Unbelievable! These guys are top notch. I've had so much riding on the successful transplant of my iPhone screen replacement and Kirt was an absolute surgeon. He belongs in a hospital with a scalpel in his hand, total pro! I'm so relieved, I don't know how he did it. They showed my my older screen and it's busted to crap. They made a terrible situation so much better and I couldn't be more grateful. Killer rate too, $150 for a total replacement and labor? Went in for a simple watch battery replacement and the kid claimed he was unable to replace it and they didn't have the right tools. Then he couldn't get the back of the watch back on. I bought a battery at Walmart and went home and fixed it in less than two minutes without the tools or training. What a joke! I won't be going back read more

I bought an SLI Duracell battery back in January. I park my car in our garage on Friday after work and do not drive it until Monday to go to work. Every Monday for the past 4 weeks, the battery has been dead. I work for a power solutions company and had one of our electricians run a test on my car to see if there was any kind of parasitic draw on the battery. There was nothing at all. I took my car to the Lehi location and the technician that helped me said the battery was heavily depleted showing 500 cca of the rates 725 cca. He asked me to take it home and charge it so he could test it the next morning. The battery was hooked to a micro processor controlled 12v battery charger rated at 3A overnight. It stated that it was 63 percent charged when I started at 6:15pm. At 9:45am the next morning it had only risen to 83% and had stalled out. The battery was not accepting any further charge. I took it back to the Lehi location, as I was instructed, and the technician was very rude. He gave me all of these options, but did not want to do any of them. His tone was rude and demeaning. He said there is nothing he would or could do for me. He said he needed evidence that the battery was bad. I asked him what the next step was and he said there is nothing he could do. I asked him what he suggested I do if it is dead over the weekend again and he said he would not give me a free battery. I am not looking for a free battery. I am looking to warranty the battery I have if it continues to fail. This is the 3rd battery I have purchased just for this car since I bought it about 8 years ago. They have seemed to last about 2.5-ish years each. This one has lasted 3.5 months. I take very good care of my car. I just put $2200 in maintenance into it. The alternator was replaced about 9 months ago. About 15 months ago, the battery cables were looking corroded and nasty, so I replaced the entire wiring harness. Everything is running perfectly. I also manage a fleet of custom police cars and deal with battery issues almost constantly. We use high end chargers, etc. I have bought many batteries from Batteries Plus in the past. I believe that you have just lost a consumer customer as well as a commercial customer. I am very displeased with how I have been treated. If the technician wasn't willing to warranty the battery or even consider it, then he shouldn't have continued to ask me to try charging it again and suggested removing the negative terminal as a test to see what would happen. All I am looking for is his willingness to continue working with me if the battery continues to fail. read more

I've gone there a number of times for other things but never considered them for electronic repairs. Can I just say I am impressed. Quick and friendly service professionals. Great place to purchase a battery for a cordless drill. You can get a rebuilt battery here for about half the cost of a new one. You may also purchase a new battery and still save money. Several weeks ago I purchased a battery for my cordless drill, but recently the drill 'died' on me. I didn't want to spend money on repairs, or get a new drill so I took the battery in to the store. I thought I was buying a great battery and it even came with a 12 month warranty. (Now I have about 10 motorized vehicles/toys with batteries so I know the expected life) This battery completely died after about 4 months, so I took it in for the warranty. The battery was not the problem, the customer service was HORRIBLE, I was lugging in a car battery, no one opened the door for me to help, which is fine, but just AFTER I opened it, one employee says, "I would have opened it for you, but you beat me to it." really... Three employees standing around doing nothing. Then I asked if they could test my alternator to make sure that was not the issue, and one guy says, "I'm not doing it, I've been doing it all day, why don't you do it", pointing to another employee, again really.... I said I would do it myself If I had the tools. Very unprofessional.
