I paid the service charge of $85.00. When he returned with the part, I was charged another $85.00 for a service charge plus the cost of the part. I explained I understood the service charge to be a one-time charge not a charge for him to come out and another service upon returning to install the part. Everyone else I contacted informed me there would be a one-time service charge to include coming out to diagnose the problem and if they had to return because a part was needed. We negotiated the amount and I paid $125.00. The following day, I tried the printer only to discover the roller he installed was still not grabbing the paper. I called Dan and he told me he would come out the next day. The next day came, and Dan did not show or call. I called him again; he apologized and informed me he would come out after 5pm. Again, another no show. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication and honesty, not to mention the out-of-pocket expense of $210.00 for a printer that is not working. I would caution anyone who is considering utilizing the services of FixitNow to think twice and make sure you get the particulars in writing. Also, do not use Zelle and I did, as there is no recourse. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I came through Florida for a few days for an experiment we are conducting out of FLL airport, and needed some emergency computer parts. They were nice enough over the phone to say they were going to look through their spare electronics and computers to see if they could salvage the part. They texted me 10 minutes later with a picture of the part next to a ruler so I could see if it was the right size. I went in and bought it for a very fair price. I'm glad they were there and wish I could get service like this from people like this from other companies. Btw, they saved our experiment.
