They will make mistakes on the phone and blame it on the customers "lack of care" for the device basically saving themselves making it a problem for YOU but not them. 4.) They will ignore you when customers call store phones EVEN IF your infront of them at the counter because to them over the phone customer are more valuable than walk-ins. 5.) it's recommended that you order your own items, batteries plus bulbs will literally look up what your trying to find on Amazon or EBay and charge you double the price they see on screen for that product & the reason why they do that is to make extra money so don't let them order it, better if you order it yourself. read more

I came here less than 3 months ago to have my I phone 13 screen replaced at almost $300.00. I was told that they warranted the screen for six months. The screen cracked in the same spot as the original one. I brought the phone back to them. They used every excuse in the book but were never going to repair the screen. It doesn't make sense to replace screen again at $300.00. I will have to buy a new phone. Showed up at this store needing a battery replacement for an electric screwdriver (li-ion), and needed Batteries plus bulbs recommendation/ assistance. The attendant sold me two batteries but would not install them. I was told they have a worry free complete satisfaction guarantee if for any reason it was unusable. I took it to a tool repair shop, however they showed me that the batteries were defective (would hold voltage after charging). In other words they sold me defective merchandise. When I took both packaged item back a couple of weeks later, the store manager wouldn't proceed with a refund (or) store credit. They were completely uncooperative and intransigent. He told me that my complaint would be related to the "unavailable" owners. Total waste of time, effort AND monies. Stay away!!!!! read more

Would never recommend this place. $400+ for an off brand phone that cracked 10 days after being repaired. Purchased a screen protector as well that didn't serve its purpose. Wasted over $500 dollars. Called the location and Noah refuses to help. They offered me $20 off when I asked to speak with the owner. Go elsewhere or to the coconut creek location. Terrible customer service. I have done business with Batteries Plus for years and have recomended them to my family and friends. I can no longer say they are the best since Kristen left. I have purchased 5 batteries for my cars and boat plus flashlights and chargers over the years. The owner told me a week ago that a battery I had in a car that would not take a charge was abused from leaving the lights on. WHAT? One this car does not go anywhere let alone at night. I told him this and he repeated it again. Why not just call me a liar! The battery in question was within in the warranty period but no replacement was offered. The last words the owner said to me was SORRY. Too bad he wasn't very helpful. Went to Bennett Auto and bought one for less than Batteries Plus sell it for and a 42 month warranty to boot. I needed an oddball battery for my home's security system and decided to give these guys another shot. I'd had been in previously for a battery for my lawnmower and found them overpriced and walked out. As soon as I walked in this time I couldn't help but notice the cleanliness of the store and the variety of different batteries & bulbs they have in stock. Immediately the clerk greeted us and recognized the battery we needed. He took us directly to it, showed us the amps and configuration were the same and took our old one in for exchange and disposal. Batteries are hazardous and this is not something you want to throw in your garbage and end up in the landfill. He cashed us out quickly and we were on our way. After swearing that I would never visit this location again, I went against my own judgement. I decided to give them another chance today, big mistake. I was disappointed yet again. First of all, I don't mind waiting when there are people in front of me, after all, they were there first. But to be told that I won't be helped yet because there is a "phone call" ahead of me??? Seriously??? I was taught in customer service, you ALWAYS help the customer in person in front of you and the caller can wait. But I bit my tongue and said nothing. After producing a battery I needed and the sales lady not knowing which one it was, I was rudely asked "And I suppose you don't have the remote with you?" Then told she would just have to guess as to which one it was, I said never mind and high tailed out of there - because I know how snotty they are about returns and didn't want to deal with that again. I did remember there is a great location on 17th Street and drove out of my way to go there because they have always been so nice. THEY did not disappoint and although it was completely out of my way, it was worth the drive. LUIS is amazing there and didn't stop working his computer until he found the exact battery I needed - and it took him maybe an extra 5 minutes. Brought car battery in that was under warranty for an exchange. Jamal handled it, it took 45 mins to test my old one which came back on their computer in big letters REPLACE. Told battery would be in on Friday. Nobody called. I called and woman rudely told me the truck just arrived and she has no control over time the truck arrives. She said she would look for battery and call back. 2 1/2 hours later no call. Called again and put on hold and after 15 minutes Eric picked up phone to see if I was being helped. He said no battery was ordered for me, Jamal never did paperwork, no paperwork found, no record of me coming in on Monday. I had to go back and have everything retested and luckily there was a battery on the truck that was meant for stock and it was installed by Eric. He apologized for all the issues and he said Jamal was new but Jamal couldn't tell me enough how my type of battery sits on the shelves or weeks and months because nobody picks the platinum batteries (listen to your security camera feed from 11/26/18. So how would a new employee know this?? In any case these types of things shouldn't happen and if he was new someone should have been shadowing him to ensure he was doing his job correctly. read more
