I was referred to the Plantation site by Verizon on Friday. I had problems with my S25 FE with connections, drop calls, no network, I heard people or did not on the phone and completely lost all calls. Not able to connect was the other problem. Arthur was absolutely wonderful. He took the phone and after a while he came back out and told me he checked the phone completely, nothing was wrong with it and that I should take it to Verizon for them to check their service to my phone. I then took it to Verizon and finally I found someone there that helped me this time and looked at it and fix their connection in my phone. Totally screwed me. Told me that my repair is covered under warranty so I should just "call Google". After all day going back and forth between, Google, asurion, ubreakifix, it was determined that this location should have provided me with a receipt that they examined the phone. Asurion and att just wanted me to make a claim so they could spank me for a co-pay. All this place had to do was give me the damn paperwork and it would have been done, right there. At&t was 4.5 hours on hold alone. This location wasted my entire day when all they had to do was their JOBS. Thanks for nothing! read more

I went in today to have MyNote20 Ultra repaired under warranty and the kid behind the counter had no idea what he was doing. I had to call Samsung Care and have them explain it to him. I'm having speaking problems. He takes it to the back and comes right back out and tells he can connect to the phone and test the software because my phone doesn't have speakers. Scam!!! Took my computer in to be repaired because the screen was damaged in a move. I was told it would cost as much as a new computer to get it fixed BUT I could sign up for their Asurion plan which costs $24.99 a month and put in a claim. I was told to wait a little over a month. I waited and worked off of a small laptop. Today I put it in the claim and it's not covered. They get incentives for people to sign up. I fell for it. But yes. It's a scam!! read more

Just not helpful. Front desk dude seemed clueless about a simple phone repair, manager just seemed like he didn't want to be there or help whatsoever. Didn't know how to handle insurance based repairs. Didn't have basic repair parts for the flagship Google phone (Pixel 3), despite being partnered with them, and having Google themselves tell me to go to this location for OEM parts. Only had phone cases for phones that are about to be two generations old. Guarantee you a cracked screen and back case don't cost $380, but that's what they tried to quote me, and then said I would have to pay up front and then have Google reimburse me. Waste of time. Google themselves is charging $79 and $49 for both sides of the phone. read more

The only feedback I have is that, while incredibly knowledgeable, the guy at the front gave me a high tech run down of what the differences were and I didn't quite understand. My name is Beatriz Reyes: This people TOOK components from my PHONE. UbreakIfix in Plantation, FL, received my phone for a screen replacement. They took more than 5 days. The phone was glitching and I took it again, but they run a software to check if there was anything wrong, and they could not find the problem. The glitch is like if there is someone using the phone, making calls, typing text messages and accessing many apps. Also, the phone is losing charge very fast, when it used to be a trooper. Today, it started to glitch again, so I decided to turn off and remove the battery. Oh! What a SURPRISE, they put an old, battered, and cut the corners with an exacto to make it fit in the phone. This is not my BATTERY. I then drove to the location in Plantation, FL and they basically told me that I am inventing this. I want to warn customers of this company, because if they do this with batteries, what other components are they switching from the electronics taken for repair? read more

I came in and asked to have the items that I was dropping off reflected on the order. That was a problem. I was told 48 hours for us estimate. I had to call a week later to get an update. I had an appointment for 4pm today at the Plantation store. I made my appointment online to fix my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet. I entered the store and showed them my tablet. After it was taken to the back the rep came back within 30 seconds to advise me that they do not work on Samsung's. I asked then why do i make a reservation for an appointment to get work done and waste my time coming to your store. He advised me that I needed to go to another store clear across town in Pembroke Pines to get work done on the tablet. I am totally upset that I wasted my time making the appointment to get work done with your company to be turned away within 5 minutes of being in the store because they don't work on Samsung's. This is a bad business practice that needs to be rectified and looked at. If this location is not up to par then close it or get a technician that can work on the devices that you say your a SAMSUNG partner and work on their devices. read more

Do not waste your money here. Not only is the customer service horrible but I brought the iPad back four times in under three weeks as it was not properly fixed. After the fourth time they refused to refund and said that because the corners or bend it couldn't be fixed properly. This should've been told the first time it was brought in and not after they took our money. read more

While my wife was having her nails done next door on a Sunday afternoon, I saw an opportunity to get my iPhone 7 repaired after months of having a faulty lightning connector assembly and battery discharging quickly at 81% battery health. Asked if they'd replace both. They said I pay full price for the lightning connector assembly and half price for the battery. When I returned they tried to charge me full price for both and good job I kept the receipt with the information. Then noticed right away the vibrate feature was not functioning, they told me the vibration motor was faulty, they didn't have the part and to come back on Tuesday. Returned only to be told the vibration motor is fine and is in fact the new lightning connector assembly was faulty. They didn't have it in stock and to come back on the Wednesday. Went back on Wednesday at 6:30pm, only to be told they can't do the job as it takes an hour, they close at 7pm and to come back on Thursday. I asked them to give me the part and for me to do it myself they said no. My wife had to go there in the morning to drop my phone off to get repaired for something they were at fault with. Found this place very inconvenient, they use generic parts and are very unprofessional. I wish I had just purchased the part online and replaced it myself at home! I work for a German premium luxury car brand, we can't turn customers away and if the customer comes half hour before closing for a job that takes an hour I'd stay and do it. Terrible place, would never use them again and thought I'd give them another shot. Used UbreakIfix at another location years ago for a iPhone 4, when I had problems with that phone I took it apart only to find screws loose. Ubreakifix should be called Ibreakufix. read more

I knew I was in the wrong place when no one was at the counter and I was greeted by a voice from behind the wall - after standing there 5 minutes - I'll be right with you" Poor guy was the technician and the greeter (store is obviously short staff) So I dropped off an iPhone for service through Asurion for a simple cracked screen replacement. When the phone was dropped off for service I had at least a 90% charge but when I picked it up and hour later I noticed that the charge was down to under 26% which I found odd but I figured they had to run tests that may have drained the battery. Before I sat in my car the phone went dead. So I charged the battery all night but the phone would not charge over 8%. I contacted the location the following morning and was told to bring it in for a free valuation. When I arrived I was told that the battery needed a replacement when I had no issues with the phone besides the cracked screen prior to the screen replacement service. He went on to tell me that I have to go through Asurion for the repair. WTF??? This is like a sleazy grimy mechanic shop that tampers with other components to get an upsell and bill the insurance company or a billing happy doctor that gives you a low dosage on medication to keep you coming so he can keep billing the insurance company! Unfortunately, I still have to get my phone fixed after they tampered with it - Definitely bringing it someplace else that I can trust... (I guess they'll benefit from your genius tampering!!! Do not service your phone at this place!!!! There are several more trustworthy places in the area that will not tamper with your phone to make more money by billing the insurance company!!!!
