WARNING: This store does warrant their car batteries. My battery would not start my car. Got a jump and drove car to the store. Employee test battery and says it's okay. However, there was no assurance that i wouldn't be stranded after leaving the store. The battery still had 5 months of warranty remaining but they would not replace it. Too bad so sad. I dropped off used sealed batteries for recycling and spent a while chatting with Kevin the manager, Josh and the other sales guys. They are very sharp, very friendly and they are eager to build up the store with good relationships and cheerful customer service. I like to buy local whenever I can and I was surprised at how good their prices were compared to online. I've traditionally thought Batt+ was way too expensive but I changed my mind about this store. The good service and competitive prices will keep me coming back. I suggest you ignore the reviews from years back and consider the new great reviews they are getting. By chance I pulled up this location An Internet search to repair my cracked phone screen. The online appointment option was very easy and convenient. I was anticipating having to leave the phone for it to be repaired over a day or more and Lee was very knowledgeable and helpful and professional and was able to fix me back to new or close to it in little over 30 minutes! The price was quite reasonable and the additional services were by choice with explanations as to the benefit which allowed me to make an informed decision. I purchased a used truck and it came with only one remote to unlock the vehicle and start it, with no back up hard key. I purchased 3 different keys from Amazon to get programmed ($30 total). So I called the dealership and they quoted me $185 plus $50 programming per key. If I purchased my own key they would program them for $30 each only if I purchased the original key from them. Otherwise they would charge me $50 to program each one plus $30 on top of that and he mentioned some other fees.. in the end it would have been cheaper to purchase the $185 plus $50. I called Batteries Plus and he (Kevin Law) quoted me $135 plus $20 programming. AND any additional key I have, they would program for free with no guarantee they would work. FREE!! I was very impressed with the customer service I received here. Kevin Law took care of almost everything over the phone and email so all I had to do was come in during lunch. I got there and they programmed the key I purchased from them and programmed all 3 I got from Amazon. Total for all 4 was $167.. all was taken care of during my lunch hour. The only thing I had to do was print off a form to give them permission to get a specific number from the dealership, scan it and send it back. That was it. If that was not done, I am sure it would take longer during lunch but I did not want to find out. THANK YOU KEVIN!!!!! And the other guy that worked there with the long beard... he was amazing also. Took a Samsung Galaxy tablet to have the screen replaced last year. Screen ordered from China during Covid so delayed. When it was received it didn't fit. Another screen ordered and did not fit. Now manager, Kevin, is no longer there and there is no sign of the tablet. They said we signed a waiver to release it if they couldn't fix it which is NOT true. They also can not produce the waiver. They say they have no paperwork but we have text conversations with Kevin about all this. Now they are saying too bad. There is nothing they can do. read more

With a name like Batteries Plus and a whole display of car batteries greeting you just inside the door, one would expect to get good, knowledgeable service when you bring a CAR BATTERY to them to have checked...but sadly, such is not the case. I stepped in with a battery today to have tested. A young clerk puts down his cellphone in the back room and comes out to see what I need. I would like to have this battery tested I tell him. He puts his meter on it and tells me the voltage. He gets an okay reading...I belive he said 12.6v. I ask if he can put a load tester on it. He's stumped. He goes to the back and asks if they have a load tester. Its been my experience that a battery can give a good reading on the volt meter and still be bad--the load tester can give you a better answer. From the back I hear, "We don't have a load tester." Ah, well, that's surprising...seeing as how this is a BATTERY STORE that sells CAR BATTERIES. I need a pair of battery clips, too--the spring-loaded kind that you see on battery chargers. They don't carry those--or at least the clerk can't find them...alright, no problem. But now the good part and the reason for the bad review-- As I pick up the battery from the counter and head toward the door, I see a large battery load tester sitting in the floor next to a charger and a smaller handheld battery tester sitting on a shelf next to them. I turned and asked if that wasn't a battery load tester...young guy comes back and says no...that's a charger. Right...there's a charger sitting there...and next to it sits a large battery load tester. Then I hear a voice from the back tell that it's broken. It looked nice and new. And so I ask if the little thing there on the shelf is a tester...no is the reply I get from the clerk. The thing was marked "battery tester." So there I stand in Batteries Plus, having been told that they don't have a tester...then told it's a tester but it doesn't work...and then told no--the thing that says tester is most definitely not a tester. I'm really put off by this kind of lazy attitude displayed by employees who have no knowledge of the store where they collect their paychecks. My advice would be to go a little farther down the road and get your battery checked at the car part store ( like I ended up doing today) where they are happy to wait on customers. Or, go to amazon and order the stuff you need. I like going to the brick and mortar local guys, but when I have this kind of experience, they get side - stepped for the Internet folks. Bottom line-- Not interested in trying to spend money in Batteries Plus anymore. read more

I've been to this store previously and read the bad reviews, but I'd put up with the strange attitudes of the people who work there. Today I went to the store to get a flashlight bulb for my Mag-lite. I pull up to the store and start to head in, and the guy fiddling in the trunk of his car says "I'll be with you in a minute." I asked him if he has flashlight bulbs and he says yes. It's nice out so I stand and watch him work on the battery in the trunk. 5 minutes. 10 minutes and he doesn't even acknowledge my presence, so I go into the store to look around. 7 or 8 minutes later he still hasn't come in to assist me. That's it for me, so I head out and tell him I'll find one on line. He doesn't look up and says "sorry." The great thing about this is the response from Alan M. of Batteries Plus Bulbs to a bad review on 11/10/2016: Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am terribly sorry for the poor experience you you received. Those particular employees were mistaken. The load testers both small handheld and large one were and still are fully functional. Again I am sorry for your bad experience and I have made sure that will not happen again. Alan is the guy who ignored me today. I can only hope for one of two things, either they go out of business, or they find better people to run the store. read more
