A Prius auxiliary is not the easiest battery to deal with. My car was in a garage 3 levels down in a high rise in Rockville. A tow truck would have real trouble. I was worried. I am thrilled I reached out to Cars & Trucks. They are polite, knowledgeable, and fast. The price was higher than I'd like, but totally within reason for the service. Great service. Happy car. I later found out that these items/services were grossly overpriced and that I was cheated by the man at this kiosk. I was chaged $60 to change the battery in my iPhone 6 (this was not even an Apple brand battery) when it should have cost $45 or less, I was charged $25 for a iPhone 6 case when this should have cost less then $5 and I was charged $30 (yes $30!) for a charging cord (that wasn't even an Apple brand cord) that should have cost less than $3. The man at the kiosk has manipulative selling tactics and he refused to give me a refund for the cable and case even after I pointed out how he charged me 10x the price for some of the items. Please do not visit this kiosk. I wish someone had warned me. This kiosk does not have their prices listed and this man charges people whatever he wants. Also, the service was below average. There are many other places, and honest places, that offer these services. Beware!

The battery casing even indicated it had been installed in another vehicle previously. The company refused to replace the battery, and refused to allow me to return it for a refund. The warranty they kept mentioning is only a manufacturer's warranty, which is worthless on a used battery. Check the manufacture date on any battery before you let these guys install it in your car, or you might get ripped off. If they say its a new battery, it shouldn't be more than 3-6 months old. Also, make sure you get warranty paperwork, or else the warranty is worthless.

He did a thorough and quick job, and I'm very satisfied with this business. He showed me how the new battery tested and went through the warranty information, which he sent me a copy by email. I will definitely recommend this business and hope that he is successful so he can continue to help people in car distress.

Gabe really…read moreknows his vacuums--he carefully checked it out, explained what was wrong, and gave me an honest repair estimate. We also talked through the pros and cons of Sebo, Miele, Dyson, and a few others he had in the shop. I never felt pressured at all. I debated between repairing the Miele or buying a new Sebo and ultimately chose a mid-range Sebo with dual HEPA filters, a bacteria filter, and a hardwood floor attachment. Gabe even included a full filter kit with 8 vacuum bags (about $95 value) in exchange for my old Miele--enough to last me nearly two years! I had researched Sebo before I came, and I think it offers strong, reliable quality and made in Germany design and parts. With the hardwood floor attachment, the price was a good value as well since the store offered an extended 10 year warranty. Gabe is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, funny, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find service like this anymore. I highly recommend bringing your broken vacuum or sewing machine here--you'll be in excellent hands.

NOT Recommended, BUYER BEWARE!…read more Brothers (the two owners) engage in so many deceptive business practices it would fill a book, seriously, so I won't detail my horrific and surreal experience with them. But, ... Take note - they are not an authorized service/repair center for Miele, they do not sell Miele vacuums or parts/accessories and they do not tell you that unless you ask; instead, they sell you grossly overpriced replacement accessories from another German manufacturer which you can find much less expensively online, even at full retail. And for that matter, you can purchase Miele products online. Be smart - read the other negative reviews and believe them...similar things happened to me and could happen to you. I wish I had read the reviews before dealing with them and learning the hard way. Steer clear - save yourself significant money and aggravation and go elsewhere for honest service, repairs, and vacuum purchases.
