It was much more money. I figured I'd get a better rate because my husband was a disabled. I went to the actual website for the hotel itself in Springfield and the people that answer the phone and I don't remember her name right now, but she was amazing so helpful. Help me get straightened out help me to rebook the reservation, but then now is fast forward to yesterday. I came into the hotel. I was greeted very nicely by this beautiful smell in the hallway Like a pine tree Christmas tree good thing which I didn't know was an air freshener I thought at first was the Christmas tree in the hallway.. The girl at the front desk, Emily she was just filling in for her mother, which I didn't know that at first, but she was very professional very outgoing greet you. Good evening welcome when you come in the door explain who I was what I needed she ends up being able to give me a room like two doors from the actual entrance at the back at the handicap entrance. So my John didn't have to walk too far since you don't been sitting for almost 3 hours in the car to get here. It was tough so then we got the wrong. I got settled came down and asked her several questions she had no problem the girl that was doing the cleanup she her name was Donna. She was working and it was her birthday like hello don't even take your birthday off wow I then talk with her for a bit to explain some things about the hotel. Everything is fresh clean bright it's beautiful. I'm sure it looks just as good when it's not decorated for Christmas as it does today it's all decorated people, Christmas, decorations and trees and bows and this fake present under the tree. Everything was just amazing so far so now I'm having breakfast and I got to sleep late for the first time, I can't say how long but breakfast has it starts off with a waffle station then it has four different kinds of fresh juice then it has a cooler that has chocolate milk in it. It has fresh yogurt, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, regular sticks of cheese then they have cold cereal. They have hot cereal. They have fresh yogurt that you can make buffets with they have things and stuff they have three kinds of fresh fruit. They have a bread station that has bagels and English muffins and toast in it with peanut butter and jelly butter Have a microwave for heating. Then their hot station has bacon and sausage, and it also has cheese omelettes and scrambled eggs this morning if two kinds of fresh coffee, hot water for coconut tea. I mean, if you can't find something for breakfast here to eat then you have a problem I had a fresh buttermilk waffle with bacon. Everything looks delicious. Looks amazing fresh I mean this has been absolutely my number one experience in hotel and the best Western of all the times I've stayed I really enjoyed this one if they were all cookie cutter, I would be doing great. I think at one time we did stay at one of the one in Pennsylvania, and that was fantastic as well, but it's nice. You can go more than one and more than one state and it's just the same. I will definitely be back here again up here for a friendly family party tonight, but we're staying till tomorrow so we can have a real short brief vacation and get some sleep without eating anyways and being bothered and stuff. it's also literally a stone stove from the highway exit you cannot go wrong by coming off and using this as a rest stop is definitely something you should come to check out is not till 12 so I mean you have no excuse not to lay in bed. Take your time get some breakfast go back and relax and everything is just top-notch here. Also forgot to put up top all the employees address so professional in the beautiful royal blue best western shirts, nice pair of black pants and sneakers also into a swimming pool, which I'm sure we won't get time to use this time as we're getting super late last night and my husband was very tired and pain and today we have the party, but I will definitely come back and try the pool next time

I'm gonna share these thoughts in no particular order. The hotel is incredibly dog friendly. That really stuck out. They're human friendly as well, but they are especially dog friendly. My impression of the hotel is that the Kimpton brand is so incredibly good at bringing outdated into today and still keeping the classic or historic elements in place. You can see that here through some of the photos I shared. Feel free to grab a bike or a scooter from the front and take a ride around town or around the property. If you brought your dog, grab a stick from the dog stick library and if you need to sit down and have a drink, every evening at five there's a Social hour where you can meet your neighbors and play some checkers over a glass of complementary wine or beer. There's usually some sort of snack involved and plenty of activities inside or out. The entire staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. It might be an act, but it looks like they enjoyed being there. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Here's a couple more notes. They have activities from bocce ball to a swimming pool, and the library is full of activities for people of all ages. Don't forget to grab a complementary cup of coffee in the morning on your way out for the day. The property and the rooms were always clean and the AC works like a charm.

It is a very dog friendly property, so if you aren't thrilled to see a dog in your hotel I'd stay somewhere else. We also booked as part of a sale on Travel Zoo and got the rooms for a great price. Manchester is well located to restaurants and outlet shopping. We also drove to see some cute towns and sites nearby. I would totally stay here again.

We had a small gathering and stayed in 8 rooms at the Inn at Manchester for several days. The IAM is a family owned, operated and has a warm and welcoming vibe. It is ideally located, has 3 guest houses with 21 guest rooms and soft grass grounds with birch trees, VT marble chairs and Adirondack chairs. It is far enough from the downtown yet an easy walking distance to the town and many restaurants, fly fishing, golf and hiking trails. The rooms we had were tastefully decorated and large about ~500 sqft. and the largest suite was ~700 sqft. Beds were comfortable and some had separate sitting rooms with a desk. Some of us worked a couple of days and their Wi-Fi was decent. Included breakfasts offered several choices which differed daily. Solid farm cooking that we enjoyed were French toast, homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, cottage cakes, buttermilk pancakes and eggs made to order, bacon and breakfast sausages. They accommodated our dietary needs too. The Morning coffee (VT Mtn) and tea station is set up early in the morning and throughout the breakfast hours. We also had an event on their covered Celebration Barn patio with a fire pit. The innkeepers provided a name of a local caterer which worked out well. The event setup person was on schedule and he even stayed later to re-setup after an untimely rain. The caterer did an exceptional job and everyone loved the food! The fire pit was great to hang out at to enjoy the NE evenings. Price is reasonable given their location, service level and the quality of the Inn. The service at the Inn at Manchester is fabulous! The Innkeeper, Gabriela and GM, Todd were exceptional, warm and super helpful! They know the area well and though I've visited Manchester many times prior, Gabriela's hiking trail recommendation was spot on. Parking is a private lot and is free. While this inn is bigger than the many family run lodgings, the intimate small NE vibe is apparent! We chose IAM over better known nearby hotels as this inn isn't stodgy. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Manchester due to the wonderfully kind Gabriel and Todd!

I arrived later in the evening and was greeted by the most friendly and professional team. After checking in they provided a full tour of the Inn and left me to enjoy this amazing place. The breakfast was a delightful start to my day, with the eggs, sausage, and buttermilk pancakes being absolutely scrumptious. The rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee further enhanced the experience, setting the perfect tone for our day of relaxation and exploration. The historical estate exuded old-world charm, complete with wood-burning fireplaces that added warmth and character to the atmosphere. The comforting scent of applewood burning made our stay even more enjoyable, and the Cinnamon suite provided a cozy and inviting space for us to unwind. As I woke up to a light snowfall, the morning revealed the true essence of country life, capturing a serene and picturesque scene that truly added to the charm of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and unforgettable getaway. I truly hope this review captures the essence of your wonderful time at The Inn at Manchester. It was a blast and the hotel was quite pleasant for the genre (mid-range, family friendly). Pros: - There's a nice common room downstairs with a fireplace, where we were able to gather with a big group of friends and share dinner. It's also where breakfast is served in the a.m. - Breakfast service begins at 6 a.m. -- great for those who need an early start. - My kiddos love "Hotel Breakfast" as they call it, and this was no exception. There are two DIY waffle irons with lots of wonderfully unhealthy toppings; hot mini omelettes, sausage, and potatoes; muffins, bagels, toast; cold cereal and oatmeal; fruit salad and whole fruit. - We either had very quiet neighbors or the walls are reasonably well soundproofed. - There's a small, heated pool. It's hyperchlorinated as most hotel pools are, but a nice place to congregate and relax with friends after skiing. - There's a small, but adequate gym -- and a conference room should you need it. - The hotel adjoins a shopping complex that includes a Hannaford's supermarket, an Office Depot and a Michael's. Convenient for friends who had to find poster board for a school project due the following Monday. And we picked up fruit trays and dessert for our team dinner. - The hotel is dog friendly! We traveled without our pup this time, but did get to hang with some great guest canines. This is a massive plus in our book. - Beds were quite comfortable and staff were nice! Two people even dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus to say hello to the kids at dinner. :) Cons: - The elevator was out of order during our stay, so those of us staying on the third floor with lots of ski gear to carry up and down got a GREAT workout. - The pool is quite small, more of a cooler-than-usual hot tub than anything else -- so don't expect to swim laps. - There's no fan or ventilation in the bathroom. After four showers, it gets pretty steamy. Neutral: - It's about 30 minutes from Killington Mountain. There are more proximate, dog friendly hotels (e.g. Killington Mountain Lodge) and Airbnbs, but Hampton Inn Rutland may be better priced. - Our room temperature defaulted to 68 or 69 F. I love that it's eco-friendly and it was a good temperature for putting on ski gear -- but we usually keep our home a bit warmer than this. You can change the temperature of course, but ours kept defaulting to the cooler setting at night. - We're not big TV watchers, but for those who are, I think you need to sign in to Netflix, Disney+, etc... with your own account logins. The hotel does not have its own subscriptions. Overall, this was a great, budget-friendly place to stay with a group!

The TV is so small (estimate 36 inch ) and in the corner so far away. No fridge and when I called for ice the told me it was on a different floor but we had no ice bucket, it took them over a hour and a half to deliver one. The bathroom had terrible lighting and my wife couldn't put her makeup on. The entire suite is very old and needs a major upgrade before i stayed here again.
