This year, our friends celebrated their wedding at the Wilmington In , and the majority of guests stayed, including us. There's plenty of on-site parking and as soon as you walk in, you feel the owners' passion for the property. The decor is classic Vermont, and the common spaces have comfortable, inviting furniture. There is also a bar area where you can purchase any number of craft cocktails, which are expertly made. We stayed in the Wilmington room, which is one of the few rooms with a King bed. The room was beautifully furnished, with a nice high bed, armoire, and television. The bathroom has a beautiful jacuzzi tub and shower. The linens were fresh and comfortable. Where the owners truly shined was with hosting the event. We truly felt special during the weekend. Every evening a fire was made in the fire pit out front. The breakfast each morning was delicious. And the main common room was cleared of furniture in one day to accommodate the wedding tables. Everything looked fabulous and made for an incredible wedding. I highly recommend The Wilmington Inn, whether for a quick stay, or your special event. You will not be disappointed!

Mount Snow very close for skiing but also plenty of other activities, especially hiking, nearby. Right price for our needs-will definitely go back.

We each had two drinks, which were served grudgingly by a rude bartender (after he ignored us for 15 minutes despite us sitting at the bar directly in front of him). There were only 4 other guests in the bar at the time. We were served deliberately watered down drinks...we watched him do it. We were so disgusted that this would happen at a hotel of this caliber, we left at 7am without the included breakfast.

But we got our order in and short while later we were enjoying the fresh beer. I had the "For Wilmington, With Love" and my wife had the "Deck Life". Both were excellent. When the pizzas came, we were blown away. The mozzarella was a classic New Haven pie. We also shared a pinello white, with a sesame crust. Unbelievable!! When it came time to settle up, the guy behind the bar dropped off the check and apologized for the delay. He explained he's not a bartender, he's the brewer! We had a nice chat and thanked him for the great experience. We'll be back!

My husband and I have traveled all over the United States and I have to say this is probably the most perfect bed and breakfast . The owner Jon, pays attention to details . Price point is amazing! It's not a 4* hotel but you have all the amenities you need... hot water, warm rooms, toiletries, and coffee in the morning! For the price that we paid, we really couldn't complain :) Service desk was helpful and our ease of check ins and check outs were super easy. One thing that you should be mindful of is the parking spots.. it's quite limited so you might have some trouble parking in the inn's parking itself but other than that, there are many restaurants in the area you can go to for dinner! All within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Outside, the woodworking around the windows is falling apart. Inside, it's dark and deserted. No one is at the desk in the evening. The rooms literally remind me of old westerns where the iron headboard bed is sadly crowded into the room and a sink is in the corner. Rooms come equipped with old15" (?) box style TVs. VERY depressing. The prices are WAY too high for what is offered, and if you cancel - even hours after booking - they will still charge you. Beware!!!

The room was exactly what you would expect from a quaint New England Inn, with very comfortable love seat and chair in front of the woodburning fireplace (very rare to find anymore). The bed was pleasurably comfortable. Breakfast was cooked by Oz and was tasty and well presented. The location is surrounded by excellent restaurants, just minutes from Wilmington which also has many restaurants and shops. If you were an artist looking for a beautiful Vermont country inn to paint, this would be an excellent choice. And, it was quite affordable, especially in light of its well-deserved stellar reviews.
