I had a 5 ft garden tub that was not being utilized except for storage. For the past few years I have had several places quote me for removal and replacement with a shower stall. Bathfitter was the only one who offered what I wanted at a price I felt was fair. Plus they did it all in 2 days. The process was painless and complete. The only thing I had to wait for was the base which had to be manufactured at their U.S. facility. Once they had everything here, the installation process took just 2 days (which I had figured for). Shut off of water was only a few hours. That was the only inconvenience I had not planned for. My bad. Their salesman, Doug, walked me through the proposal process in very short order. And the installer, Dominic, was prompt, attentive, and did a marvelous job. Could not be happier with results. Read all of the reviews before I went with Bathfitter and based on my dealings with them, I could not agree with the negative ones. That's just me. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Overall terrible experience. Josh came out to give a quote and was rude when I said my husband was at work and would have to chat with him about the quote later this evening. He specifically said "get him on the phone now and we can chat!" absolutely not.. my husband is at work and who just makes a $$$ decision during a quote appointment without discussing with their spouse? Also, when I asked about taking measurements so if we decided to move forward with everything later we could, he replied "No I won't take measurements today not until your husband is present so we can go over financing" In my experience with home renovations we get quotes and then discuss after to decide which company we would like to go with.. not get pressured in my own home to sign right away. Overall very poor sales techniques and if they just run on pushy, pressure sales I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. read more

I filled out the online estimate request, called twice and left a message asking for a call back to get an estimate. A month later I get a text offering a 10% discount for memorial day. When I sent a message back stating my calls and request. I was met with "well we dont do estimates online or on the phone, we have to see the project because there are too many variables" No kidding? I do not recommend the bath fitters especially the one owned by Andrew starnino phone number 5094 74 9191 Contractor Michael from Yakima put in a walk-in shower April 2025. He did a very substandard job and was very very rude to me. He cut through the one of my floor joist over three quarters of the way and he tried to hide it. He left in all the robins sheetrock he was supposed to replace. I questioned about the floor joist he told me just a box it in and it would be fine. I questioned him about the rotten sheetrock that was supposed to be replaced. And I told him the salesman said it would all replaced. He said he was a contractor and do it anyway he wanted I started taking pictures and he said I could not take pictures of his work. I told him it was my house and would take any pictures I wanted . At that time he put cardboard over the windows indoor boxes in front of my bathroom door so I cannot see his work. I brought this to manager Todis attention. And send to your plenty of pictures. She said it was all up to their standards and they would not do anything about it. I sent her statements from three different contractors stating it was some standard work in so many ways and needed to be tore out and replaced. And a letter from accounting inspector stating you cannot get a floor joist in the middle of supports like they did. She said it was all up to their standards and would not do anything about it. A little over a month I noticed a lot of white stuff just under the shower they put in. She said that was not their problem and not do anything about it. I did receive my down payment back from my credit card company. I sent them the letters from the contractors and a bunch of pictures and proved it was all substandard work. Instead of dealing with the problem she put a lien on my house. 7 months of arguing my family sending all my contractor statements and a pictures to corporate. Doug did fix my floor joist. That day he agreed to tear out the shower replace all the old rotten sheetrock and do the job right like I was supposed to be in the first place. I agree to that. The next day he informed me it would cost me $1,000 to reinstate my warranty and do the job. They both lied to me so many times. They would tell me one thing and change it the next day. Read their contract very carefully they word anyway they are not responsible for anything. They do not get plumbing permits or any kind of permits. They do not check for lead paint or asbestos required by law on older houses like mine. I've been lying to everybody I've talked to in this company from the salesman contractor and the managers.. do not dress bath fitters especially Andrew starninos company. Supposed to be after 7 months of arguing with them. Not my family LOL they treat their customers nice until they get paid. And then they treat you like crap . I give Andrew's company a minus 10 Stars. read more

Although I am satisfied with the final product, Bath Fitter had TERRIBLE customer service. A project that was supposed to take a day or two, took over a month to complete. Not once did Bath Fitter contact me to apologize or offer to take $$ off to compensate me for not arriving with the correct fixtures or being unable to use my bathroom for a month. I don't even know how to express how happy I am right now with my bathtub/shower remodel. Steven K. all by himself, transformed my outdated, tiny, disgusting bathtub into a beautiful masterpiece in like 8 hours. No hiccups, no mess, just did such a great job. I can't thank him enough. It really gives me hope for humanity that some people actually care about what they do, after what I went through with our other bathroom when we hired DaBella. Low quality and over priced. I only gave 2 stars so it wouldn't fall into the haters category. This is a true balanced review by a handyman. I've been doing these kind of things for many years. I'm doing my best to not feel ripped off. I asked my wonderful wife to hire an outfit to do our bathroom. She found these guys and it seemed like a good move. In hindsight, the value is clearly not there. Nice people, but that's about it. Salesman: He was deaf, yet my wife and I were turned away from him to talk, when he chimed in to correct us. Not sure what to make of that. He was really nice, but I kind of felt played. Materials: Very low quality materials. I priced the materials (after the fact) at 1400 dollars (generously!). Had I seen the materials before the job started, I would have shut the whole thing down immediately. - I actually didn't realize glass doors could so cheap. It's a huge difference from our previous glass door when squeegeed. It's harder to clean too. - The walls they call "soup stone" are plastic that's already showing scratches (4 months in). - The shower head is the cheapest you can buy at Home Depot. Worth about $125, disappointing for sure. He played up the magnetic holder and the shower head. Labor/time: Install took 2 days totaling 16 man hours. The installers were nice. The one that did the plumbing was NOT a certified plumber. This is important when you look at the labor cost. Cost Summary: - 16hrs @ $25/hr = $400 (both plumbing and install). Neither were skilled laborers. 25/hr is generous. - $1400 for materials Total cost to Bath Fitters is $1800. They charged $10,000. Summary: Had they used anything above the lowest quality materials I wouldn't be writing this review. This is not a business I would recommend to anyone. It's a fast food version of a bathroom upgrade. Low quality and very very very over priced. We had an old metal tub and wanted a walk in shower. The price was very reasonable. The installer arrived on time right at 8 a.m. and was out of here before 4 p.m. We have a beautiful new shower. We had our old cast iron bathtub removed and new bathtub and surround installed by Spokane Valley Bath Fitters. Our installer, Jamie, deserves 5 stars. He was very pleasant to work with. He had to put in a very long day to get the project completed due to old house plumbing issues and having to work around uneven obstacles. He showed attention to detail with the caulking and put forth great effort to fill in the gap where the flooring did not meet due to the new tub being a different shape than the old. He offered good suggestions on additional options to finish the back wall that had been altered with additional drywall for added height. Clean up was done thoroughly. We feel the estimator could have done a better job explaining options to complete the end wall so that appropriate materials would have been ordered and the project fully completed. The estimator did not ask if we planned to spackle and repaint the end wall or if we would like it covered in matching materials. Also, rather than having the front facing molding edges match, the right side of the tub has a 4 inch molding while the left side has a 2 inch molding that covers only 1/2 of the wall edge. I agree with another reviewer... we also felt there was more focus on making the sale and that the details were't talked over as much as they should have been. My sister and I bought a new home. Even though we purchased it before it was finished, we were not allowed to make any changes to the plan which included a deep bathtub in my bathroom. The Bath Fitter salesman was up front with all charges as well as estimated time to get materials. Office personnel were helpful and friendly. Our installer was wonderful. He arrived promptly both days. He put down runners to protect the floor, carried out all debris for disposal, and swept up. He even swept the garage where he was working. read more

We have tried numerous times over the last 2 weeks to schedule a repair covered under the Lifetime Warranty they profess to have on their products. No call back ever. Even the owner, Sharon, does not show any interest in helping us. The "scheduler", Lindsay, that was suppose to call us back at least 3 times has never returned one call. We cannot even turn on the water to our bathroom because the water will not shut off in the shower. If we fix it, it voids the warranty. I think this is a ploy to get customers to fix it themselves and void the warranty. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever had to deal with. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND inland Northwest BathFitters. The "Lifetime warranty" is a sales tactic to pull you in, but don't expect them to honor it. We had to wait for 2 months for the VA to approve our HISA grant, but as soon as we got it, our remodel was scheduled! Jerry, the sales rep, helped me fill out the paperwork for the VA and stayed in touch with me AND the VA, start to finish. Within the week, our tub was gone and we had a beautiful shower installed. A few months ago I had Bathfitter install a new shower. The job looked fine until we hung the shower curtain, at which time you couldn't help but notice that the curtain rod drooped by a good two inches in the middle. So I went online and ordered a much better quality shower rod (the curved model, all one piece). It works great and looks wonderful. Now the only thing left to do is plug four small screw holes in the tile material that are left from the first curtain rod. I called them and Steve answered. I told him what I needed and said I would stop by their store and get whatever I needed to make the repair and do it myself. All I needed was a little caulk that matched the color of the newly installed tile material. Steve said he would schedule a return visit and have one of their guys come by and fix it. I waited a couple of weeks and heard from no one. I called again and Steve answered the phone. I asked him for a date when the repairs would be made. He stated Sharon scheduled all of their calls on Fridays. So I wanted for Friday, no call from Sharon. I waited another week, then called again. Steve answered again. I asked what was going on, and now I'm told that they will handle it when there is somebody alrealy coming my direction. I waited another two week with no response, then tried calling again. As of right now I just get a recording asking me to leave a message, which I have done. There have been no return call to my messages. This is a five-minute fix, and I have offered to do it myself if they would provide the caulk. Our experience started with Doug Blomgren, our sales consultant, who through his expert presentation, made it effortless on our part. Really nice guy! Our ETA of installation was 8 weeks, and we received several calls from Sharon in the office updating us on the status of our materials which were right on schedule. Once all materials were ready for shipment, we were contacted and put on the schedule for installation. The demo was completed the afternoon prior to installation. The next morning, Kennedy began the installation. He was great, and explained exactly the steps he would be completing, as he laid cloth tarps down on our new floors and rugs, so they did not get dirty or scratched. Once installation was completed, Kennedy, made sure that the shower bars and soap shelves were placed exactly where they were comfortable. I was surprised at the quality of the framing...that shower is not going anywhere! I've contracted BathFitter to replace my tub a surround, paid my down payment. The first time they called, they left a message wanting to schedule the install, tried to call them back, but apparently there is only one person within the geographical Western Hemisphere that can interpret the schedule, and although that person works from 7 to 3, which makes perfect sense, since nobody that wants to have remodel work done.....has a job. No big deal, only, nobody answers the phone. I've called 3 times today already between 7:30 and 10:00 on a Tuesday. Nobody answers the phone. read more

Contract signed, 6-8 week estimate. Project completed week 12 after I had to call to ask why It hadn't been scheduled, twice. Their hours aren't accurate for phone calls- early morning calls go to an outsourced answering service. Project is completed. Shower faucet was leaking, the seal seemed to come loose as a result. Sent out someone to repair it two days later. Tub was delivered with a chip in it and the installer chipped the countertop during the install process. They seem to contract someone else to do these repairs, which has been scheduled, but not completed. Once those issues are addressed, I'll amend this review. read more

I wanted to take some time after our Bath Fitter shower was installed to write my review. The shower is awesome and a Godsend for my elderly mother who just moved in with us. It makes showering her so much easier. But, I expect it to be a great shower because that is what I paid dearly for. We did get off to a rocky start because we were promised a four week turnaround time and when I called to check was told it would be more like eight weeks, I was not happy at all. Bath Fitters needs to make sure their sales people are not making promises that they cannot keep. After a few phone calls I was assured that it would be four weeks from order to installation and it was exactly for weeks. Remember people the squeaky wheel get the oil, so don't be afraid to use social media to your advantage because it does help if you have issues. I do wish someone with some knowledge would have helped me figure out where the hand holds should go, I had no idea and the installer was really no help, so now I have a hand hold in the completely wrong place. Not his fault, totally mine, but some guidance would have been nice, after all he installs these all the time but it's too late now. Another issue is the low flow shower heads, how awful to install one of those horrible things into any shower let alone one I paid A LOT of money for. I know that they are required to be installed but I feel that customers should be forewarned that they will be getting a shower with no...well power behind that shower, more like a dribble than a shower. So now I have to either purchase a new regular shower head or figure out how to get the flow regulators out...it is truly awful and does take away from the whole awesome shower that was installed. One other issue is that I didn't realize when we purchased a shower we would be subject to constant emails and flyers from them, kind of annoying and needs to stop. We have received a bag of tiny cookies as a gift, which I thought was an odd thing to send, maybe perhaps, shower gels, a nice towel, or directions on how to remove the low flow shower regulator. We've received a gift card for $500 if someone we know needs a new shower...okay, so maybe send something like a gift card to a bath shop for the one who just spent several grand? With all that being said I all satisfied with our new shower except for the issues stated. read more

The young man that did our install was great. I'm not pleased when they found water damage and had to replace some of the floor but didn't replace any 2x4s. Sprayed it with bleach and covered it with new tub. I wish they could if given me two days and fixed the mold properly. The sales man sold me a soaker tub but it's so skinny. Had to wait 8 weeks to be scheduled, took 3 days initially, wrong color shelf ordered and brought back, then wrong wall was installed, got a small credit $600 for a $5k job, then installer found manufacturer defect in tub was cracked and temp sealed with silicone and shower bar installed crooked, then had to wait to have entire bathroom torn down and completely done over, its been 4 weeks to get reconstruction started and still waiting. Started in March and finished in November. They put in a shower for us and it leaked so bad we couldn't use it. Fixed that then the hand held shower wouldn't work they came out and removed a large amount of silicone from the pipe. Oh the office staff will lie to you and treat you like you are a idiot, totally incompetent and should be educated in customer service. Shower pan cracked of course I don't know what a crack is. Still couldn't use it. Fixed that, but the wall was so warped, solution; corner unit. I didn't want that I wanted it done right. Months later came and fixed everything. Did I get anything from this company in compensation, NOPE. I am sure I will get a response to this review. The same old song and dance, you got my money. The owner of this company should be embarrassed by this. Not only do I not recommend this company, I encourage you to go else where. See the response below. Nothing from this company.
