One of the better newer ones he had seen in the Spokane area! And to top everything off, I had a situation arise with a different company who was acting as the site super/general contractor and they were not keeping their site clean. They wouldn't take responsibility, but passed me off to Ruda, who went above and beyond to resolve my issue and exceeded my expectations in doing so. The could have passed me back to the general contractor, but instead they prioritized my satisfaction as a customer. For this, I'm extremely grateful. This company is terrible. I'm the neighbor of a project they are working on. They have taken NO…read moreprecautions to ensure material doesn't come on to my property or to pick it up until I mentioned something to the property owners multiple times. No tarps, no clean up. They left demo'd and used materials all over my property in a place that could have been removed or tarped off multiple days in a row. Even after they have started tarping off and cleaning up the accessible areas I am finding shingles and wood and staples and nails every day. As I was throwing material back over the fence that I had to pick up from my neighbor's project one of their staff members jumped on the fence and threatened me. It's taken them multiple weeks (and still not finished) to roof a 1700 square foot house. These guys are incompetent.

What Dave took on was essentially a complete gut remodel and reconstruction of a house that had already been badly mishandled. It was an enormous project, and watching him and his team transform our house has been amazing. One of the things that stood out to us immediately was the standard Dave sets for his work. He notices the smallest details and wants everything done properly. The subcontractors he works with are also wonderful people. Everyone who came into our home was kind, respectful, and pleasant to work with, and they took tremendous pride in their work. They were perfectionists just like Dave and cared about the details and the finished result. Dave has an incredible ability to look at a problem and figure out how to fix it properly. Our project required far more than simply finishing a remodel. There were many existing problems that had to be corrected, several areas that needed to be rebuilt, and details that required custom solutions. Instead of being overwhelmed by those challenges, Dave worked through them one by one and kept moving the project forward. What meant the most to us was knowing that Dave genuinely cared about our home and the quality of the final result. After our previous experiences, that was something we did not take for granted. We could see the care and pride that went into the work, from the major reconstruction down to the smallest finishing details.
