Not worth a 1* Initial installation took 2 days as salesman measurements were wrong. Very little water pressure post-installation; 2nd service man had no idea/no remedy; in a hurry to leave and smoke around the corner. Only solution offered was to have the Installation Mgr. contact us. Independent plumber found pvc pipe was completely blocked with glue; and wall bolt holding grab bar was not installed properly. 0 for 3 interactions with company; no adjustment/compensation offered. We thought it was taking longer than it should have, so I asked. As it turned out, after removing our tub, they found the floor was sloping away from our drain. They took the time to use shims to raise the lower part to ensure the water drained prior! So without any complaints, they did the proper thing. We highly recommend Joel & Jose for installation! One caveat is BE SURE that the salesperson writes EVERY SINGLE DETAIL YOU WANT & verbally agreed to! What was discussed & we showed in our other shower, we didn't get. We chose Bath Fitter as they installed our other shower years ago & we liked it. We love this one too, BUT we didn't get the extension & shower head we thought we were getting! I am not seeing a spot to add a photo. First the sales woman came out and gave the quote. We were removing a tub ( regular size) and convert to a shower with a glass sliding door. ADVICE: go to lowes or home depot and get prices. The cost was $8000 and that was discounted. For some weird reason the sliding door had to be billed seperately. I'm older and trusted them. The sliding door was $1700 : oh i said expensive but got the " it includes installation and is top quality) It's a sliding door that I could of got for approximately $400 at Lowes. The installer cut his hand right in the beginning when pulling tile off the wall. It was pretty deep and i offered to clean it but he said he had a first aid kit in the truck. You could see he was in pain, he should of called the office but no. This is a FRANCHISE business. When you do call you get a CALL CENTER not the local branch. Trying to find out who is the owner of the local branch was near impossible. Even with all my issue's i NEVER heard from the owner so that tells you something. The shower door wasn't sealed to start with. The drywall outside the shower was damaged and when i pointed it out the tech responded that happens sometimes. You won't notice it when you paint. NO ONE SAID I HAD TO REPAINT THE BATHROOM ONCE THEY WERE DONE. He patched it with a rubber filler so HELLO paint won't stick to that. The bottom where the doors slide they didn't seal so water was getting under it. They sent a 2nd person to seal it, still water getting outside the shower. Then someone came and "adjusted" the $1700 glass door and water still gets outside the shower. They have offered to keep coming and "trying" to get it fixed but frankly we are just FED UP. Once they have your money they will NOT refund anything for your trouble, inconvience etc. The sales person is DONE once you sign and they get your money. I would NEVER recommend them. This started Oct. 20th , so much for a shower in a day. I should say they offered me a GRAB BAR for my problems. As I explained to 2 different people we spent $8000 out of savings: we are retired and so we have on SS . If we were working and could replenish ok but i am SICK at wasting $8000 for this. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND BATHFITTERS. I forgot I also ordered brushed nickel but they installed chrome so I waited 2 months for that to be fixed. I had this done for my 89 year old mother at her home in lakeland. Dan the sales person was great. Informative, no hidden agenda and even gave us his cell number to call if any issues. When is came to scheduling we wanted to schedule over 3 months out. They called to try and move it up. I had to follow up to ensure it was scheduled. This was the only issue I had. The installer was WRay. He was on time, courteous, did an excellent install and showed us how to work and consulted about placement of things. First off, in November of 2021 the salesman lied to us about what Bathfitter were going to do. It wasn't until we talked to corporate that we found out he lied about an insulation service they don't do. The installer left the top of the shower open, with no covering or seal, basically leaving us without a shower in that bathroom since November. Every time they were supposed to come back to correct and finish the work their was an excuse of some sort. Sarah, the scheduler promised my wife a towel rack all four times they had to reschedule that we never got. When the guy did come out to finish and correct the shoddy work he didn't have anything on his work order about what was supposed to be done. He passed the buck on to his manager, Mike, who had already been out under false pretenses (replacing the moldy insulation) which is what corporate said they don't do. The fact that the salesman, Sarah and Mike lied about that service makes us regret EVER having them in our home. Had they been honest with us we could have went another direction. Their were no excuses when it was time to pay them, but when they were supposed to return, they had lots of excuses. BATHFITTER! If and when you respond with whatever reason you come up with, KEEP IN MIND, we wanted to give you a good review because our my in-laws swear by you...But this is the review you earned! We had our bathrooms installed today. What an overall great experience from beginning to completion. We received a call to set an installation date the day after Autumn came out. Due to family obligations we had to postpone installation until 10/25. (They could have come out October 17th). 2 installers were at our door promptly this morning as scheduled, Paul and Geno. The guys were friendly, polite and very professional. By early afternoon both bathrooms were completed. They both look amazing and absolutely no mess was left for us to have to clean up! Overall the company was super. The initial consult want well. the person was on time, provided pertinent information without trying to give us along involved sales pitch. She made suggestions and gave us a quote. A few days later we received an email with a better price and decided to go ahead with our stand up shower replacement. We had it scheduled and I was constantly making sure they would not show up until they had all the pieces to complete the job. As of 2 days before our scheduled install date i had not heard anything from them. I called the 800 number who transferred me to the Orlando office. - no answer. I called Kaitlin whom i had been corresponding with in email and she gave ma the name Magnolia who is responsible for the installation scheduling in Orlando. She also did not answer, so i texted her as well. She did call back within the hour and assured me all was well. (this almost cost them one star, but the installation experience won it back). Installation day arrived. Wray arrived earlier than scheduled (this is a plus not a minus in my book). He was kind, professional and helpful. While he was here an elderly neighbor whose husband had fallen came by asking for help to help him get up. Without missing a beat Wray ran across the street to lend a hand. He helped the neighbor get up. Nobody was hurt, and Wray just went on with his work. He finished early took us through a few things and was on his way. Wray was truly a class act in all categories. More than three technicians have come to my home with incorrect measurements for my glass shower doors. I have contacted customer service multiple times only to be rerouted to an answering service full of messages that you cannot leave one for someone to call you back. Multiple numbers given 888-448-7250, 888-277-2617, 888-277-6717, 407-530-3436, 888-996-1882 only to be rerouted every single time to the 888-277-6717 unable to leave a message or a fake promise to have someone call you back. Every representative I have spoken to see's multiple messages I have left as they claim to management and not one person called me back at all. I spoke to a person named Dave who took down my complaint in additional to the past inquires I made ensuring someone from management would contact me back and no return call to date. I am told the Orlando office under Sunshine LLC for bath Fitters are assigned to my bathroom install. I would never recommend anyone to do business with them. In mid-July, 2021, company representative named Amber or Autumn ( she mumbled so was hard to understand her) was extremely condescending, sarcastic and rude. She did not introduce herself upon arrival. She just walked in, so I said, "I assume you're from Bath Fitters." She merely nodded -- no reply and no smile. Once we began talking about the job in the bathroom, she seemed annoyed and got sarcastic and condescending when I asked for clarification on two aspects of the work being quoted. When I told her that I found her attitude unprofessional, she literally shrugged and ignored me and just kept jotting stuff down. I left the room and waited in the living room while she finished paperwork and packed up her items. After she left, I called the company to provide feedback. The scheduler, Sarah, was polite and listened. She advised that the Office Manager, named Karen, would call me in a day or two. I said fine as I specifically requested to speak with a manager. I dint even want to give them a star... Been playing chase with them since before Christmas for warranty work for a shower install at my parents. Floor has cracks in it, shower floor was NOT done properly! First time they were scheduled to do warranty evaluation, noone showed up, noone answered calls. Just left my parents waiting and hanging for hours. Called several times for weeks, given the run around. Always talking to someone different, even someone in NY! Finally got a date months later for a Sunday only to be cancelled due to the worker being out of town (apparently they only have one guy? come on!) and pushed out another 3 wks! The Guys (2) finally showed only to say what the office told them what was wrong and what they saw were 2 different things AND the office even had photos! so they sanded the cracked floor, now we have a cracked, sanded floor! They said shower could be used for a short time or it would leak and damage dry wall. Short time meaning quick showers? can be used a month? what? So a few wks went by, more calls to their office and got another date for May! MAY!!! So the guys were here in March, sanded the floor, agreed shower needed replaced and said they have the unit.... Now we are looking at May??? IF they show up and if they bring the new shower and fix the concrete underneath. This company is beyond unprofessional and to get them to stand behind their product has been rediculous! Lets talk about taking advantage of the elderly! This is bullshit! I chose Bathfitters after thorough discussions with their representative, who came to my home to discuss the process, select materials, and answer our questions. We agreed that work would commence as soon as I gave a date. The representative in Colonie, NY, helped me review product choices and scheduled the installation for June 15th. However, on the installation day, I was informed that they would not cover the space up to the ceiling as agreed upon in the contract. I was told that they only manufactured up to a certain height, which needed to be more accurate as the person who measured the space had confirmed that it would be up to the ceiling and wrote it into the contract. On the installation day, the installer carried out the installation with my brother's presence. I was out of town and only saw the final product two days later. I noticed the wall was bubbling and protruding, and I called to inform them of the defect. My call was forwarded to Sunshine Bath LLC | (in) 855-0501 | Orlando, Florida. I have since called the service department multiple times and sent pictures and videos of the defect. However, they have not provided an effective response and have only said they will schedule someone to come and look at it. My experience with Bathfitters has been unprofessional and unsatisfactory. The consultant told me I should expect 2 teams, one for each bathroom. He said they should complete the tubs and shower walls in about 6 hours. He said it'll be sealed up so nothing could breath under the wall and create mold. I was told they would clean up before they left. All false promises! I had 2 people, one for each room. They arrived close to 9 am and the first bathroom was done by around 5:45. The other man left at 8:45 pm with an unfinished room. As a single mother of 2 girls, I had to finally tell him he had 15 minutes before he had to leave. His reply was that the other man didn't leave the Teflon tape so he couldn't finish the job anyway. He gathered garbage and the supplies to finish the job (my shower head and soap dish), apologized, and left. I inspected the showers and tubs and was utterly disappointed. The caulking was sloppy and even missing for both rooms. There is a finger-width gap between the installed shower wall and my bathroom wall in bathroom "completed" early. No caulking along either top seams where the shower meets the wall or the border meets the installed shower wall in the first bathroom. They are not sealed and will allow mold to live. The showers were not wiped and the inexperienced guy left behind a large white board and a screw on the floor besides the dust. The faucets aren't touching the walls or caulked. The unfinished bathroom's overflow is too high, not placed right, and there is a black chip/scratch/damage from when it was installed wrong. I took pictures, left comments on the website, and even called while the guy was still here at 8:30 pm and was told to call back in the morning to complain. We hired Bath Fitter to renovate our en suite shower, install happened the end of August 2021. They came out to take measurements for the custom glass on Sept. 1st and told us it would take about 2 weeks for the glass to be cut and shipped... due to 'supply chain issues' the custom glass was finally ready to be installed 4 months later on Jan 24th 2022. The workman was here on site for all of 30 minutes before he told us that "they gave him the wrong kind of metal framework" and that he could not complete the install (after leaving a small pile of aluminum shavings on my porch, a sliver of which I had to remove from my dog's paw). We expected to hear from Sarah the scheduler shortly after that to reschedule, we still have not received a call from them over 6 weeks later. It's now been more than 6 months since the initial install. When I call the main line, Customer Service can only send me to Sarah's VM (where you get a recording saying "the mailbox is full" and can not leave a message. When I call CS back to tell them that I was not able to leave a message for Sarah they tell me that "they will message her directly via their internal system to have her contact us" which, of course, never happens. I can sympathize with the fact that this poor woman is swamped with work, but that being the case shouldn't they, I dunno, maybe hire another person to help?!? At this point this is an abandoned project and we are currently looking for legal representation. 0/10 experience - would not recommend to my worst enemy. read more

Last month I had a shower remodel done by Bath Fitter. Due to improper installation the walls in my home started to flood with water after using the shower. I filed a claim with my insurance company and the shower floor pan was the source of the problem. Prior to BF coming to my house my shower was problem free. An inspection was conducted by my insurance company to duplicate the problem and once again water was coming out of my walls and into the adjacent rooms. Bath Fitter sent the technician out to finish the job and seal the drain. Since then we have had no more leaks. HOWEVER they repeatedly over the phone and on social media claim they are not responsible and are refusing to pay my deductible for the thousands of dollars of damage caused from the water leak they created. Since no is returning my calls and they refuse to do the right thing my next step is to seek legal action and educate all of central Florida about the bad business practices Bath Fitter provides. read more

53 days after cashing our check, the installation was completed, HOWEVER, the bathtub still does NOT FIT properly, although better than the first tub attempted. The installer pointed out that there are two areas in the front of the tub where it was not properly adhering to the old tub, leaving it bowed in two places. If you push on those areas, the calking line will definitely break loose which will hinder cleaning. In light of all our problems, I was told we could get a free shelf and a free towel bar. They showed up with the wrong shelf and no towel bar, so they had to go back to the shop to get those items, only to have to make a second trip back to the shop because they had the wrong drain. As for the shelf, it turns out that Amy the office manager NOR both of the installers knew their job well enough to tell me that the shelf that I asked for is NOT designed to be used with a tub, only for a shower because now the "foot rest" is way too high to get your foot on and the top shelf can only be reached while standing on your tip toes (pretty dangerous in a bath tub). I was only trying to something really nice for my wife and all we got was $FOUR $THOUSAND $DOLLAR$ worth of incompetence. Worst. Company. Ever. read more
