I dropped my lamp off to be repaired and was told it would take "about a week". On the 8th day I hadn't heard anything so I called the store. Mind you when I dropped the lamp off for a simple wiring repair I was told it would be a little over 100 dollars which I thought was a lot of money, but the lamp had sentimental value so I agreed. There were lamps all over the store and I wasn't given a claim ticket or anything, I just walked out of the store thinking it was a small business and they would just remember me and my lamp without a claim ticket. My father owned a small business and he could remember every person he spoke to. After a week, I'd heard nothing so called the store, and I was asked to describe my lamp. I was caught a bit off guard by that but I described it as brass looking because it is. Now obviously there are a lot of brass colored lamps, and one would think an organized business person would assign claim tickets to items in order to keep track of them. The person I spoke to, I assume is the owner seemed to have no idea who I was or which lamp was mine, he put me on hold. He came back and advised that, after a week, my lamp was not done but that if I would call him by the end of the day he would have it done. I had advised I needed to travel for my job and I wanted this off my plate before I left town. I called later that day and was advised the lamp is done. The next morning I woke up an hour early to drive the 40 minutes to get the lamp. When I walked in, the lamp was sitting in the same place I'd left it 9 days earlier. I pointed at the lamp and said "I'm here to pick this up" and the man said "oh that's your lamp? It's not done. That lamp is more gold colored, you said yours was brass". If this man didn't have his head up his you-know-what, he would have a clue how to run a business. If you call their phone number, he doesn't answer with the name of the business, he just says "hello" and you have to ask if you've reached the lamp repair store. When I got there to pick up my unrepaired lamp, I found him out front smoking a cigarette. Classy. I left with my unrepaired lamp and the man could not have cared less that he wasted my time. So if you want to do business with moronic idiot who won't respect you, your business or your time, go for it.

I had a car issue in front of their business and two guys ran out to help me! I had a newborn in the car and a toddler and was incredibly overwhelmed and they helped me get my trailer back on the hitch and secure it correctly. These two guys could've ignored my distress but they ran out to me before I can even ask for help from them. My husband stopped by the next day to thank them however they had just closed for the day minutes before so I felt that shouting them out on here was the best way to compliment them. As we house hunt, this place is the only place we're getting our lighting from. From a mama of two small kids with a car emergency, I am so grateful for the compassion these guys showed me. However, I wish they actually labeled their products with the manufacturer info especially since not one of their 3 store employees actually came around to help. The low rate is mostly because of this same reason: came to visit on an April 2026 Friday late morning, 2 customers at the store (one at the check out counter and one leaving). I saw three employees but not a single one ever looked up to see who had come in to their store. I was actually browsing the vanity lights section on the back where an older lady sat at her big desk with earphones in and never even acknowledged I was there. I was 8 feet away from her and nothing. I walked out and the three were still at their stations and never even looked up. I will take my business elsewhere.

We called another company who claimed to have emergency service at midnight and stayed up for hours awaiting a call back. Finally we went to sleep to awake at 7 am and call Palmer. A qualified technician called us in 30 minutes (at no charge) and told us to call Duke to confirm it wasn't their issue. Duke said within an hour it was house not them. Palmer was out within an hour thereafter with ample communication during that time. Come to find out the main line connected to our main service box had fried and could have actually caused a fire. Thankfully it didn't. Around the time (10 am) we had a prognosis from Palmer at a reasonable non-emergency rate the other company called us back but we already had a resolution. They would have charged us $250 for a service charge far above what Palmer charged. We found out from Duke that Palmer is one out of three preferred vendors and we were in good hands and many other companies would have charged a service call without ruling out them first. All this to say we are Palmer customers for life. I will also talk to Palmer about making their yelp say they have 24 hour service which deterred us from calling them first as yelp said they were closed versus the other company who obviously didn't really have emergency afterhours service.

When we called them, and "I'm sorry (the FL motto) was all we got. An hour later, the electrician appeared. Our electrician, Jean, was great. Friendly, professional and skilled. The company, however, knowing they were more than four hours late, had the temerity to charge for another 30 minutes ($90) because, while the work was done, my partner made the mistake of asing one final question which put us moments over their automated counter. This made an estimate call double in price. We plan to speak to a manager regarding this, but initial efforts fall on deaf ears. HARD PASS on a company that can so callously and unthinkingly treat the masses because they've been successful at it. We are a service provider hub here; we're happy to extol the virtues of those worthy of it, and we won't stop warning people away from poor service.

From the very beginning, the entire team demonstrated outstanding communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to high-quality workmanship. His knowledge of both traditional electrical systems and modern EV charging solutions is impressive, and it's obvious he takes pride in ensuring every project is completed safely and correctly. He takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and makes customers feel informed and confident throughout the process. Kassie, the co-owner, is equally wonderful to work with. She is attentive, organized, and incredibly responsive. Scheduling, updates, and follow-up communication were seamless because of her dedication to customer service. It's rare to find a company where you feel truly valued as a customer, but Kassie makes that happen effortlessly. A special recognition also goes to Cody, who is clearly one of the most trusted electricians on the team. His work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail are second to none. Cody arrives on time, works efficiently, and maintains exceptionally high standards in every aspect of his work. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right the first time. His knowledge of electrical systems and EV-related installations gave me complete confidence in the quality and safety of the work being performed. The extensive selection of lights consists of table lamps (e.g., typical lamps and colorful leather lamps with henna accents), ceiling fixtures (e.g., stained glass or metal), and hanging lamps in stained glass or metal. For those unfamiliar with Moroccan decor, I am posting lots of pictures because a picture, especially in this case, is worth a thousand words (or more). These Moroccan accents are pricey, some very pricy, but the prices are cheaper than a trip to Morocco. In addition to the exotic and pricey items, the store also offers a few cheaper touristy items. For example, the store sells cheap, gold-tone genie lanterns. The store is small and crams lots of wares in its limited space, even stacking items on top of each other. Given the crowded wages, be careful with large purses and children because and accident for the unwary is likely. Additionally, some sections are more dimly lit than others, adding to the potential for accidents.
