They sold us light bulbs that didn't even fit in the light. We also bought this hanging pendant light: http://www.multiluminaire.ca/en/ecom/catalog/?search=grey%20pendant#&name=sku&value=096125. And once we paid to have it installed, we noticed one rim is bent. Basically looks like it sat in their warehouse with other products on top of it. I wouldn't shop here again.

We are looking for a new house, and I may want to update the lighting in the new place. I have shopped at the Bells Corners outlet of this franchise, and had good luck there. On display for this visit was a variety of chandeliers, some new, some traditional. But I really liked the newer ones, which had crystal in shapes of balls and droplets, cascading down... one went nearly to the floor - obviously for an open atria 2+ floors high. These were gorgeous! And I was surprised that they were not as expensive as I thought they might be (shh! don't tell them! I want to be able to afford a new one after we move in!!) For this visit, the staff was busy behind the counter doing something (not people related, but perhaps stock taking) and let me wander through the store mostly undisturbed or unsupervised. Eventually someone asked if I needed help.

I am very pleased with the excellent service that Capital Relamping has provided. I had to replace…read moreone of our ceiling fans which had been on our ceiling for about 30 years. The replacement fan was a Hunter Douglas and it had a light kit with it which the original fan did not. I followed the instructions that came with this fan. After my work, there were some wires left unused, and that really worried me a lot. I had followed the instructions very carefully, but those "left over wires" made me very uncomfortable. I had been given excellent service by Capital before and they were excellent there as well. So, I gave them another call and explained to them my concerns. They said no problem and asked for my address and said that they would be there sometime in the early afternoon and that is what they did. The young man that they sent was extremely polite, clean and was very thorough in examining my work. He found extra wires and capped them, but everything else that I had already done was ok. Great service, Great representative for Capital. I will be keeping their contact info that is for sure. Everything works as it should! Many Thanks Capital Relamping & Signs! The cost was very reasonable and quite happy about that being a retired senior.

This past summer we had a disaster: a rainstorm soaked the floor and the wall under the window in…read moreour basement guest room. Even worse, it happened days before we were scheduled to leave for a long-awaited trip to see extended family. We really didn't want to miss it. Fortunately we knew this was a good contractor as they had done some excellent work for us previously. These guys came right away and got to work. We left on schedule. They ran tests and identified the type of mold present in the wall. Unfortunately moisture had been seeping in and/or condensing in all the foundation walls for some time, they discovered. They removed the mold and got the proper machines to dry and decontaminate the place. We decided to redo just about the whole basement, if they were up for it, and they were. They added various measures to prevent any future mold and improve energy efficiency, like waterproof insulation and regrading outside. And they added an egress window, backflow valve, some nice pot lights, and beautiful laminate flooring. All the work was completed promptly and to a high degree of quality. We are very happy with our basement and would not hesitate to recommend Forever Kitchens as a contractor.
