This business makes custom wood furniture, but also has courses on woodworking and allows you to make use of their extensive selection of power and hand tools by purchasing block of time. e.g. 10 hours of time in the workshop for $150. You are required to take a training course for each of the power tools before you can use them, and the cost is $20 per course. I've taken several and found every course to be helpful, both int terms of learning how to use the tools safely but also to get a sense of the best ways to use them. There is even a laser cutter which can be used for project such as engraving . 16+ for hand tools and 18+ for power tools. I took one course on making a wooden cutting board and would highly recommend their courses for anyone that wants to give woodworking a try They are within about two minutes walk of a specialty lumber store called KJP Select Hardwoods which is quite convenient.

After looking and looking, going from hardware store to hardware store across the city, finding tiles that were not quite right, we finally caved in to come in and look at what these guys had to offer. I have to be honest though: at least one of the hardware stores told us the same thing they told us here - you couldn't walk away with the product; they had to order it in from somewhere else and it took time (a week or two, at most). So if you're laying tiles, take the time to plan for enough time to complete the work. Still, this establishment had some of the nicest displays we saw anywhere; it was well worth the trip out here. In our particular case, we brought a piece of the existing tile to compare with, so that we could find a complementary colour. This worked well for us.

After a quick inspection they were able to determine the cause and had it fixed within an hour. They also noticed that my down spout wasn't set up correctly and fixed that as well. Within the next couple of days it continued to rain and our back window well filled, causing other issues that he did not address with us.
