It is implausible to think that a company can provide such pathetic and abysmal post-sales service as Blinds to Go. I have contacted the local store, and even the head office in Montreal, multiple times to have them order a replacement frame for my shutters. Multiple times, I have sent photos of damage, for which I am wholly responsible, to them, showing the frame I would like to replace. But I have yet to receive a commitment from them to help. I will persevere and climb the corporate ladder until I find someone willing to assist. My advice to anyone who is looking for window coverings of any kind is to look elsewhere. You will find a better product and better customer service elsewhere. read more

I have dealt with many stores and contractors and this store has to be the single-handed worst experience I've ever had. They mis- measured twice, then after 4 months time they told us the product we selected wouldn't work. They then proceeded to charge us more for another product that would work. They were extremely difficult to get hold of on the phone and in person they were not helpful either. It was a horrible experience and I highly recommend any other blinds store in Ottawa over this one. I wish we had never used them. If there was score less than 1 star I would have given that. read more

Awesome experience! I have been dealing with Blinds to Go Hunt Club for over 18 years.Their customer service, price and quality are top notch.I recently purchased blinds for 6 windows and while all of the staff were very helpful, Seda Guvener was exceptional. From order to installation, I was totally satisfied.Covid has slowed down delivery times but they were up front about the time line so there were no surprises. Being a savvy senior on a fixed income,I shopped around but no one could even come close to Blinds to Go. As an aside,I purchased other blinds there 16 years ago and last year one of the blinds came off of the roller.I took it in to the store and they happily sent it back to the manufacturer and it was returned good as new, in less than a week. Ordered 4 motorized blinds on April 13th with a promise of a 2 week install. Over a month and a half later and the store does not know where the blinds are and they keep blaming the factory. After purchasing blinds at Blinds to GO we were disappointed to find that BTG 'trained experts' cut them to the wrong measurements then refuse to allow them to be returned. They hide behind the line "no returns, it's a custom order". I fail to see how Blinds to Go live up to their statements: we strive to WOW our customers with our legendary "red carpet" service. The manager and the staff both failed to show their so called "expert knowledge and the very best in service". DON'T SHOP AT BLINDS TO GO - especially HUNTCLUB. The customer service was dismal. Their corporate office didn't even respond to our inquiries. If the staff makes a mistake or fails to communicate all the information for the sake of a sale, then this is in no way customer service but deceitful and shoddy customer service. read more

I needed some roller shades and some window blinds. BTG came and measured and we went to hunt club location and dealt with Patrick. Amazing guy..very courteous and so helpful. We placed our order and were called the next day that they were ready! You can't get better service than that. Scheduled an install date and the guy was in and out very quickly. Simply amazing! Out first purchase was in 2003. Blinds for all the windows, except for the basement. Now that our basement reno is complete, needed a blind for the window. Obvious choice was Blinds To Go. Also needed to get some of the roller blinds repaired. Blinds were dropped off on Friday APril 10th. Got a call the morning of April 12th that everything was ready, INLCLUDING the new blind! We installed everything ourselves without any issues whatsoever. I was dealing with a design consultant who was very distracted by other clients who were asking questions and/or wanting to "quickly" check on their order/make a payment. I felt like my time was not a priority, needless to say I had an infant with me who was crying - which I voiced to him that I was working with him first. After spending a few (unplanned) hours in the store trying to help him figure out my order, I was just happy for my order to be done and hoped that I could deal with someone else the next visit. On my next visit, luckily I was able to meet with design consultant AFNAN; she is very straightforward and to the point with my needs and requirements, and even suggested an option against a rush-decision I was going to make, that brought me comfort given the wait period for blinds due production delays given the covid pandemic. Sometimes you need someone to be real with you, and make you think about the decisions you are making, which in the end can help you save time, and money. If ever you go to this location, ask for Afnan... unless you want to waste time. read more

We recently purchased new cellular blinds from this location. This was our first time purchasing blinds and my husband and I were quite unaware of what to expect. Our salesperson, Andrew, was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, personable, and answered all of our questions. He seemed like a genuinely nice person and we would 100% recommend working with him if you have the opportunity. We definitely will be returning should we need more blinds in the future. They have great prices and when you go in, you can view tons of samples. It's a great place to shop. The service is very good as well. They'll come and measure all your windows for a really reasonable price. They have promos, and I shopped around to find the best blind prices (even among big box stores) and they had the best prices. read more

I went in with an idea of what I wanted. Salesperson was great, she pointed me in the right direction and answered all my questions. Blinds came in within a couple of days and they look fantastic. I should mention this is my second time dealing with this company. First time was equally great. Would definitely recommend for those looking for custom blinds. read more

Re: Order #27159, 08 Aug 2014. The installer arrived, no level, to install seven blinds. Two were defective. They were replaced, one defective, sent back and replaced. Used "eyeball" method to install blinds. The centre blind of a triple window was not centred on that window. I was told a different installer would come and see my problem between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on October 28. He never showed up or phoned. I have since relocated the blinds as they should have been installed. To make matters worse, I tried the "Contact Us" tab on www.blindstogo.com. It kept responding by saying all my data was rejected-my name, phone number, email address order number, everything.` The $140 install charge was a complete waste. This company will not be recommended by me to anyone. read more

Bought blinds here 4 years ago and was totally satisfied with service and quality. Fast, courteous, all good. Recently the cord in our blinds shrunk and made the blinds a bit short. We brought them in thinking we could pay for a repair, but--bam, they took them right in, this was on a Saturday morning, and had them back to us, all fixed, by Monday morning. Warranty work. Didn't cost a thing, and it was done with a smile. Great quality from start to finish. read more
