Was looking for a hair dryer - found one for $5!! I always buy my hair dryers at 2nd hand places…read morecause why pay full price? Took it to the counter to pay. Three people behind the counter - not a one acknowledged me. Not even to say "be with you in a minute". Two other staff members were putting hangers on a rack and tidying up the carts close by. Still standing there..... eventually someone came to the register and proceeded to clean up the counter before checking my one item out. I'm not sure what this was all about- it was really rude. Had it been one person- a bad egg but 5 people ignoring a customer. What could I have done to deserve this? I can't think of a reason. Bottom line the service was atrocious and got home.... the hair dryer didn't work. The store itself was clean and had a wide variety of items which earned them two stars instead of 1. I won't go back though.

Since the item was out-of-stock, the order cannot be placed again. Called customer service, the "Supervisor" Brianna said either go to the store to pick up or refund. Again, no apology at all. The whole conversation was like it was my fault, and they are doing big favor to refund the order. Totally disappointed how Carter's treats their customers, and how rude the customer service is!!

First, when I come in and ask about a specific shoe, that's what I want to talk about. Second, if you don't have that shoe, please don't bring out a different model and try to sell me that. I've bought running shoes for many years, for myself and for my kids. I'll come back, but I'll be most selective of the sales person helping me.

That being said the staff are alright. They don't always pay attention to their customers. Most of the time they avoid customers. They'll see you walk in but won't pay you any mind. Many times I've been ready to check out I've had to go searching for someone to pay for my things. The staff also don't always where a uniform so sometimes I'm not sure if they are working here or not. Since it's fairly new not all the staff members are familiar with the layout. I've called to ask if they had certain item, because if I needed to run into town to go to Walmart I just wanted to go straight there and not make 2 stops, and the staff rudely will say "we should have it" and they tell me they have to go and hangup. I'm glad I don't always have to drive 20 minutes away to get simple things but the staff just need more customer service skills.

I was told this store was not going to do this. But they did. Now they are like every other Dollar Store. Cluttered and messy. Stocking shelves while customers try to shop. They are closed many hours. Why can't they stock the shelves then? I hate it when I can't walk down an isle with out dodging boxes, cheap displays, and racks of stockable products. I won't be able to take my husband here in his wheelchair either. He is very disappointed. There is no way that I can push him down an isle pack with crap! It was clean and debris free for a little while. Nice while it lasted. Oh well! Sucks now...
