I was fortunate to find a card table, brought it home and when I began washing it off...I was shocked to see that there was no dirt, grime or residue on either the top or the legs! Employees were helpful, friendly, and all had smiles and a happy greeting. I plan to go back soon when I have more time to look around and take it all in.

Three people behind the counter - not a one acknowledged me. Not even to say "be with you in a minute". Two other staff members were putting hangers on a rack and tidying up the carts close by. Still standing there..... eventually someone came to the register and proceeded to clean up the counter before checking my one item out. I'm not sure what this was all about- it was really rude. Had it been one person- a bad egg but 5 people ignoring a customer. What could I have done to deserve this? I can't think of a reason. Bottom line the service was atrocious and got home.... the hair dryer didn't work. The store itself was clean and had a wide variety of items which earned them two stars instead of 1. I won't go back though.

The basement has tons of hardware material well organized. On the second floor is home goods. Lots of the merchandise on this floor is very very old. There are no clothes at this second hand store but everything else is abundant. If you're into antiques, I would definitely come here. They have everything from inexpensive jewelry to high end antiques. The aisles are overflowing with cool stuff! Every single nook and cranny is filled with neat knick knacks! The owners are not only knowledgable about their antiques for sale but also very knowledgable about Urbana history. It was great chatting with them! The only criticism is that their items are a little pricey in my opinion but it's all in great condition so you don't have to do any of the digging you do at other second hand shops.
