Regularly priced merchandise is overpriced in my opinion, but when items start getting marked down the deals are great. Today I went home with a $16.50 Winter coat; marked down from $100! Vast selections as far as sizes, and I appreciate the petite options. Probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced in a Kohl's store. We've never had a bad customer service experience. This location is far more organized and easier to shop (clutter-free aisles) compared to some of the other Kohl's stores. We shop here a few times a year. My husband typically fares better than I do, but I still enjoy browsing.

i had an order to return to Lands End today. the woman who took my items said one thing to me:…read more "where's this going to?". thats it. no greeting no thank you. also, the way employees dress is horrendous. novelty tshirts, jeans, etc. i worked at the Champaign Kohls during a holiday season several years ago. that type of dress would never have been allowed. kohls has really gone down hill in all areas: decreased selection of brands and within brands, decreased customer service. rarely shop there any longer.

Dick's/Field & Stream, Macy's and JC Penny are the anchor stores. Mall also has your typical staple stores: GAP, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Payless, Old Navy, LIDS, several jewelry stores. Nice Illini Shop as well and I was surprised to see an H&M store. Food court appeared to have something for everyone, but we visited Auntie Anne's pretzels which was in the mall itself. Huge carousel for the kiddos in the food court. The mall is on the other side of town for us, so we'd probably only come back for a very particular reason or for a great sale. It's nice to see that the community is keeping this mall alive. So many indoor malls in cities the size of Champaign have closed.

There's also a food court with the basic bland food choices you typically find in a mall like this. A lot of parking is available. It may be the best thing you can say about it. The best thing actually inside the mall is it's not crowded, which also can be a bad thing. For sure it's not cool like the Chicago malls, but this does it for around here. There's anchor stores plus a few others like Old Navy and the usual. Has a pretty big food court. The food there mostly sucks but there's lots to choose from including Chinese and Mexican. Good place to go shop and walk around in. It has a children's area including a carousel so it has something to entertain them. Harvest has terrible produce most of the time & I'v received rotten fruit and veges too many times from harvest. But Meijer's produce has pleasantly surprised me,& even when I order via InstaCart I never have a problem either. I love the variety of produce products as well. I have been getting gorgeous oranges and peaches, nectarines & baking potatoes for example, which I could never find at other stores in and around Champaign. When Im doing In-person shopping at Meijer's, I never wait long on check-out lines & because they have a nice variety in all categories of foods I find many things I just cant get at Harvest or other places in Champaign county. Also, I love that Meijer's carts are for the most part pretty clean-not so at Harvest. The only thing is I wish they had a meat counter & dont generally by fish or meats from there. The cashiers are very nice & pack the way I ask them to & my deliveries are are fine too, never a problem and very prompt. This year I have made Meijer's my main go-to store & highly recommend it. I can't remember the last time I had to wait in line at a Target. Nonetheless, we had a really friendly cashier named Cameron who made conversation with us while he checked us out. That was really nice of him. Cameron now knows that we enjoy coffee and we now know that he loves pizza and enjoys putting coffee creamer in his milk. Great customer service is a beautiful thing. We purchased about 60% of what we were looking for; 40% was purchased on pure impulse. Target be damned! Easter items were 70-90% off and they had a ton of inventory leftover, even a week after the holiday. My gluttonous self couldn't pass up the bags of mini Snickers for less than $1.10/each. Target had some awesome displays set-up in the home goods area. Their Magnolia Home display was really pretty and the new line of Bohemian inspired home decor was 'oooh & ahhh' worthy, too. Clean store, well-organized, and there seemed to be plenty of employees working in various departments. We'll be back!

Sure the store is a lot smaller than other macy's sure the selection is not as trendy as other locations, but there are still great sales to be found at this location. I am surprised that this location is two stores which even includes a small furniture selection which is very limited. The only upside is at least there is a macy considering there are not really any other big department stores except for bergner in this mall. The one downside is as other people indicated store staff is super super slow. It took close to 10 minutes to check out with only 1 person in line ahead of us. Then after paying and the products legally belong to me, I have to wait in line so that a Costco employee can pretend that they're checking my receipt against my cart contents. Then they deface my receipt with a marker assuming I never would have cared about being able to read the receipt later.

I am then told that in the teeny tiny fine print of the ad it says with $14 mail in rebate, so I stood in line to purchase an over priced griddle (you can get one for $18 at walmart). I did not purchase the overpriced griddle, but I am quite annoyed that you wasted my time. Quit trying to rip off your customers! If you advertise a price don't make people jump through hoops to get it! People will just stop going to your store if you can't be trusted.

There was a second hand store for arts and crafts projects which was cool but there doesn't seem to be much else going on at the mall. Lincoln Square was a shopping center that has been around for over 50 years. There are several categories of businesses: Health & Wellness, Retail Shopping, Restaurants, Business offices, & Community Services. I was very surprised when I realized how many business was here in the shopping center. The even have some empty spaces that are available to lease to start a business in.
