When we first arrived, the check-out line wrapped around the checkout area and all the way down one of the main aisles of the store. Even with 4 cashiers busting their tails. Should I have visited on a Saturday? No. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I thought this HG had a great selection. I didn't visit all of the departments, though, because I came in for very specific items. Plus, it's hard to maneuver around carts and large groups of people throughout a store that has a lot of inventory. Our cashier was super friendly and I'll definitely come back.

Every isle is in near perfect shape and there isn't anything laying on the floor or stuffed into random holes. It's clean, organized, plenty of options and some great deals to be had... the staff seems invested in their jobs. Everyone seems bright faced and happy to serve. I was in this store multiple times over the holidays and this store hands down had the best staff along with best presentation of product and cleanliness. I try to compliment every worker I see there to tell them what a great job they are doing. Goodman's & Michaels are sloppy messes with very tired merchandise. Been the same old thing for years. Even Hobby Lobby seems to be a disappointment with their dates product along with broken, dented or scratched merchandise. Their customer service is great so I keep going there. Their picture, flower arrangements seem dated too. My first go to store is now Home Goods. Check it out you won't be disappointed. The Home Goods in Chicago and Normal were the pits and I swore I'd never go back but I am glad I did.

One big plus is cheap 2 for 1 dollar greeting cards from american greeting. If you want small party trinkets or one or two time use items this is the place to get your item. They now also have grocery items, but it looked pretty sparse in the fridge section at the back of the store. Overall a great store to browse, but I can't imagine coming here frequently to shop. Pros: they accept credit cards, 2 for 1 dollar greeting cards Cons: dollar store quality Hidden deals: 1. Check out the weekly ad for the best new items

Last week I placed my first order and it arrived to NY from IL with lightning speed. I ordered a leather mini skirt in a size small which was true to size and used the holiday coupon code. The items fit perfectly and a free poncho was included with my order which was a sweet surprise :) Thank you, Lizzy for packing up my order. I'd order from this shop again for sure.

There is the Oak Express for wood furniture, sofa mart for all your living/dining room needs, and bedroom expressions for your mattress needs. There is ample parking for these three stores. I volunteer and teach watercolor classes at libraries and assisted living facilities, and I provide all of the materials gratis so I was thrilled to see that I could get watercolor paper for 40% off. I picked up 30 small pads of watercolor paper. When I got upfront, I was told "oh these don't get the 40% discount because they're the ' your price' items and the manager told me that the yellow tags meant that they were the ' your price ' items. I'd like to know how a consumer is supposed to know that when the signs are all printed in 30 point type that all masters touch is on sale and posted right in front of where I selected the paper. In fact, the signs were taped to the displayer and all I saw was that masters touch brand - nothing identifying them as excluded from the 40% off sale. I think they intentionally mislead and I walked out and left their watercolor paper and I will never darken their door again. They can take all of their fake chest-beating Jesus and shove it where the sun doesn't shine because they are not honest and that in my opinion is hardly Christian. I'll buy bulk paper and cut it myself and I will make a point of telling all of my students to avoid Hobby lobby when they are searching for products. Hope this helps.

Exactly what I had been searching for was in one of the last six aisles of the store (or first 6 aisles depending on how you shop the store :). Yay! Giddy with excitement, the item was also on sale for 50% off, so I didn't need that 40% off coupon after all. Store is clean and staffed well. Not a bad store, except that it is nearly impossible to even get someone to look your direction…read more The selection is what you would expect for a place that buys from people. It is inconsistent, but you can also find some pretty cool things. Prices are not bad and they often have deals if you buy multiple items. I would say that they are better for movies than anything else; it is a pretty vast selection. It can be crowded and a bit messy. It seems like the employees are most of the problem here. The shelves can be really out of order and I have seen many times when the same item was listed at multiple different prices or had gunk and other stickers all over it. If you are patient and do not mind doing all the work yourself you can find decent deals; just be prepared to wait ages for anyone to help with things you cannot reach yourself.
