Be very aware. Customer care, especially in the jewelry department is not of a high priority. A damaged product, that may not be noticed at the time of your initial purchase will be hard or impossible to return. When pushed neither the staff at the counter or, an "assitant store manger" was capable of addressing issues. When I asked for the over all manager I was told he was "unavailable" and would not be available " any time soon". Do yourself a favor. 12/28/24 I ordered a Camisole thru Macy's online to complete an outfit for New Year's Eve 12/31/24. I paid the extra delivery charge for NEXT DAY delivery. Figured I'd receive by 12/29 or 12/30 by the latest. When I hadn't received late in the afternoon 12/30 I called the online "customer service." I gave them the above info to check. Store review: Wow there are some terrible reviews here, but when you look at the surrounding competition this is not that bad. Sure the store is a lot smaller than other macy's sure the selection is not as trendy as other locations, but there are still great sales to be found at this location. I am surprised that this location is two stores which even includes a small furniture selection which is very limited. The only upside is at least there is a macy considering there are not really any other big department stores except for bergner in this mall. The one downside is as other people indicated store staff is super super slow. It took close to 10 minutes to check out with only 1 person in line ahead of us. It seems like any other Macy's, which is mediocre. Pretty good sales and sales people, but no really great brands or customer service. Like I say far more often than I'd like, "it is what it is". The staff at the jewelry area were unprofessional. I went to Macy's straight from work one evening around the holidays, and was therefore dressed up like somebody with more money to spend than I actually have. I was obviously aimlessly browsing, but the service person fawned over me and stretched to compliment every single bauble I laid my eyes on. Meanwhile, a woman of color couldn't get any attention whatsoever from the clerk. The clerk could easily see she was there, and could definitely hear her. She was actively ignoring the woman who just wanted to be rung up. Later, I ended up purchasing a couple items of costume jewelry from a different clerk who was very judgey. The thick stank of "look at this cheap bastard who is wasting all our time just buying costume jewelry" hung in the air. Their selection of fine jewelry was decent for a department store. Obviously there are better places to buy fine jewelry. Their selection of costume jewelry and medium-priced stuff was more extensive; Macy's punches its weight in this dept. They also had a good selection of moderately priced men's watches that looked more expensive than they were. If you drop less than a couple of bills, though, don't expect respect. read more

This review is based on my most recent visit- Black Friday. Pros: A pretty large store. I like the selection of jewelry. Neutral: Clothing selection is just OK. Cons: I used to shop at Macy's quite a bit. Now I have a hard time finding anything that I am excited about purchasing. My biggest frustration with this visit dealt with my trying to get in on the doorbuster deals. Something was going on with the people in front of me. They were taking FOREVER. Like over 10 minutes. But instead of pulling someone in to help with others that would be quick purchases, the cashier alone was focused on this couple. Meanwhile, the doorbuster deadline expired and I couldn't get the price. Other stores have honored people if they are in line before the doorbuster time ends. Bergner's keeps those prices in their system a bit after the deadline. So...what did I do? Walked out with nothing. They lost a purchase cause they didn't want to give the lower price. About to walk out because of no one at Cliniqe counter and loud women working at Estee Laudet counter talking about how tired they are and not calling anyone over to help! Worst experience ever at Macy's this evening with naudia working the checkout... she should not be working in any customer service role!!!! I really like the clothing offered at the store, but the fitting rooms in this establishment are filthy. I saw many pieces of clothing strewn about and a lot of garbage and debris around the room I was in. I am disappointed in the cleanliness in these rooms and the store overall. read more

Hate to heap on top of the mediocre reviews at this establishment but they just do not deem to sell decent clothes or selections. I'm a big guy and last I heard, about half of america is obese which makes me wonder why stores like these only sell skinny jeans and Jersy shore douche apparel with a tiny section of big and tall clothes. I got to JCPennies, there not a whole lot better but at least they sell clothes that fit me. and a note to all retailers for big and tall, I have no idea who made the decision that large people love hawiian print but knock it off. Large people like myself want clothes so we can look slimmer, not stand out like a tourist in Maui. They had a DJ up front which was pretty cool but not sure why they had them. It was overly loud and distracting. The departments were a mess and you couldn't find anything. There wasn't a sales person around either when we were ready to check out having to go to some a random department l. One person walked out of the back room and we asked if she could find someone to ring us up and she either didn't hear that because of the music or she ignored us. As she walked by, her pants were falling down. Very disappointed w our visit and you wonder why malls in America are dying. read more

I ordered 4 cashmere sweaters, the quality was terrible. They were on sale, but still I expected better quality. All the sweaters were scratchy and felt like pure wool. When I went to return them I was only able to find one of the orders. So I am stuck with three sweaters that I cannot wear. Over $120.00, I am not a happy camper. I am quite disappointed if I could I would put zero stars. Two friends and I went to Macy's, we decided to check out the furniture section. We are teenagers but I feel like it was quite rude and insulting to assume we weren't going to actually buy something. We were kicked out by an employee because we were sitting on a couch. We were not running around, we were truly trying out the furniture. She came up to one of my friends and said "You aren't allowed to hangout in here" although we were seriously trying out furniture. I was truly offended and was very disappointed in their customer service. I do not think they would've said anything if we were older looking. I don't love this Macy's but it's the only one here. First of all the locks on some of the dressing rooms don't work. Second, they never have enough people so if there's a line it takes forever to checkout. Lastly one time I went there and asked them to keep the clothes at the register to wait for my family to come back and see them ON THE SAME DAY. That took the clothes but didn't ask for my name or anything so I asked if they needed it and they said no. When I came back the same day they had shelved the clothes and I couldn't find the same ones in my size. read more

I was here at Macy's to return a cold and purchase and that's it. After finding the coat that I wanted I proceeded to the checkout line. The cashier by the name of Naudia begin to check me out. When I could not find my receipt immediately she left and walked over to another customer to help them. After I found it she returned back to me and finished my transaction of returning the code. When I showed her now I need to buy another coat she became very rude. She began telling me and my daughters of how we needed to hurry up because they were looking at her from a surveillance camera. She then said I remember you are from the last time you were here she was very Condon sending an extremely rude. To the point where we ask for the manager. A manager came over and tried to de-escalate the situation but she kept going to the point where she began to lie. She stated that we brought it in front of a customer that came up after us. She then began to say I probably need to call customer service myself because I'm pretty upset. When we explained to the manager what was going on he took care of my transaction she came back and began to exchange words with those that was very inappropriate. Instead of her walking away and allowing her manager to take care of things she began to chime in. She again was extremely rude, Condon sending, and did not represent Macy's at all! Finally the store manager came over and took care of everything and apologized. But Naudia should not work in customer service at all! read more

I had the most TERRIBLE shopping experience in macy's today. After buying a coat, I took home and found the shop assistant forgot to take out the sensor ! Then, I had to go back and ask them to take it out. After hearing my problem, two shop assistant stared at me suspiciously and said repeatedly and condesendingly "why don't you keep the receipt? You should ALWAYS keep the receipt". Fine, I admitted I understand the policy. But I did bring my driver's license and pulled out my online macy credit card account summary. (which should be more than enough in any store in the world) It is really their ATTITUDE that pissed me off. They treated me like a THIEF after my spending THOUSANDS of dollars in macy's. Besides, it was that shop assistant's fault that she forgot to take out the sensor! However, after verifying my information, no apology, nothing at all. The selection here isn't too bad although I still couldn't find what I was looking for. My real gripe with this place is the customer service! My goodness! It's like the workers here would be happier if you would leave than if you would shop. Was shopping for just a regular pair of slim fit slacks and I checked online to see that Macy's carries (at least online) what appeared to be a fine set of perry Ellis slacks. When I asked the lady at the front desk whether they had any in stock she immediately said "No". Okay...I asked her if they had anything similar and she pointed to a whole half of the store telling me that I could possibly find a pair "over there." She immediately starts looking away as if to shoo me away or something. I tell her if she could be more specific and she replies "well there's the men's section." Same dang area! I figured I wouldn't get anywhere else with this cold-hearted worker so I tell her thanks and she replies "uh-huh yeah" and starts walking away! Didn't expect it would be at a Macy's that I would experience the cold shoulder lol. Anyways, the selection here is meh and I ended up finding what I was looking for at Kohl's. I, unlike some of the other reviewers, have found Macy's to be my "Go To Store"! There are times, like with any other store, you can't find ANYTHING you want to buy, but by norm, that's NOT the case. They carry an excellent line of purses, i.e. Dooney & Bourke, MK, Coach, etc. and they have very nice watches! I don't buy every time I go, but I do check in every couple of weeks, because the displays change, and I see something I did not before. My only complaint is with clothing, and it is so crammed together that I become frustrated looking, and just don't buy! I AM A FAN of this store!! I have found some clerks to be "ditzy", but others Fantastic, and I think you find that most places! I find that Macy's prices are certainly better than Bergners! read more
