Even in the closing days and huge sale to clear out the stock, the employees were kind and helpful and the store was as nice as it can be. Some empty shelves were the only difference I noticed, and the only issue I had was the sadness it evoked. I have very fond memories of this store for nearly two decades. I am not sure what else to say about the store in its closing days. All the way until closing, they were as amazing as always with great prices. Thank you, Big Lots.

First to review, and I also got this listed on here! It's not a bad Dollar General location…read more When did they open? I'm honestly not sure. I just drove through Castle Rock for the first time in months, maybe even a year, and WHOA, there's a Dollar General! I have been to the Rainier and Clatskanie locations, and this is only slightly worse. They didn't have their store exclusive Mountain Dew, that I was looking for. Rainier does, at least. Other than that, great stock of items, meaning nothing really seemed to be out. Looked WAY cleaner than anticipated. Also not the busiest, as Dollar General's go. Employees seemed nice enough, too. But they didn't have what I was looking for, so the interaction was minimal. This will probably be an interesting place for Castle Rock people to go, but it really won't be that much more advantageous than a place they've been familiar with for years. But it shows the start of maybe making Castle Rock bigger, and better. Definitely stop by and see if maybe they carry something the other local stores don't have. But you're probably better off just running to Longview real quick. Thanks for reading, if you did!

I'm a customer at this CVS, and I can no longer recommend the pharmacy here due to repeated issues…read morewith one staff member, Danny. On one occasion, she had my husband step out of the line while waiting for a medication to be filled, which is reasonable. But when it was ready, she never texted him to let him know, and when he came back up to the counter she made him go to the end of the line again, which by that point wrapped around an entire aisle. She was also loudly arguing with coworkers at the counter about a new company policy regarding purple hair color and face tattoos, insisting she was right and that she'd lose her job over it. This was completely unprofessional in front of customers. On a later visit, I personally experienced her being condescending and rude to me directly at the counter, and I had to ask her to stop talking to me. As this was happening, she was yelling across the room about how great she is and how loved she is there, while the pharmacist stood there listening and said nothing. I left the store shaking, I was so angry. After two separate incidents, we've lost confidence in this location and have moved our prescriptions elsewhere. Customer service matters, especially at a pharmacy where people are often already stressed or unwell, this kind of treatment shouldn't happen.

It's always stellar, the employees are always nice and well-informed. They're also extremely helpful, because I think twice I've asked a question, and they've walked to the product to check that their computer was correct. Next up is the atmosphere, and it's stellar. It's a clean store, sleek and never busy. You walk in and get a chill modern impression. Now, unfortunately this is where I get a bit inexperienced. I've only been to one GNC, this one. I only get energy drinks that aren't available anywhere else I've looked. I don't workout or use anything relating to that. They seem to have everything you need in stock, at a perfectly reasonable price. I'm told they have two sales a year that are so cheap, they've got several customers that stock up on those sales until the next sale. I am also subscribed to emails, and it looks like around once a week a new brand of energy drink is on sale for $1. That's incredible. OH! AND they have their own brand of energy drink. I missed the $1 sale of that, but hope to try it at some point down the line. (Hopefully it goes on sale for $1 again.) Sorry to flood with the personal energy drink information and experience, but it's all I've got. I wanted to review this pleasant location! Overall there's great service, a clean environment, and it's not busy every time I've visited. Can it get any better than that?
