Opening soon at Streets of Tanasbourne!

I visited this Sephora store today during their soft opening. Their grand opening is tomorrow 2-19-2021. There was a very nice lady just inside the entrance waiting to greet customers and advise them about the store. She was friendly and willing to answer questions. There were several employees walking the salesfloor that were also friendly and helpful. As is the case with any brand new store, the place was very neat, well organized, clean and fully stocked with merchandise. One thing I found odd is the check out counter is in the very back of the store. Also, I was not offered a bag for my fragrance purchase so maybe they don't have them yet. They can also do mobile check out. Sephora is a French owned retailer selling cosmetics, skincare, body care, fragrance, beauty tools and hair care. They carry over 300 brands of beauty products. Sephora has over 2300 stores in 33 countries. This Sephora store is a welcome addition to the Streets of Tanasbourne shopping center. There is plenty of parking available and bus 48 stops nearby. I recommend checking them out!

While I'm not heavily into makeup (I'm into a more natural look, myself), I do frequent Sephora whenever I need to re-up. And let me tell you: out of the dozens of locations I've been to, this was -- without a doubt -- the best one. Not only was the staff friendly, they helped me pick out the best products for the look I wanted and saved me from continuing to purchase the same, wrong products I had been using. Perhaps as importantly, this store is pristine. It's gorgeous and clean and organized and stocked, and I will be forever sticking to this location for my beauty needs.

Birthday goodies. They had all options stocked on a Friday afternoon! Thank you so much!

Surprisingly, many locals are unaware of them, which is both a great thing (for loyalists) and shocking (given how incredible the products are). I recently stopped back in Maak Lab to update some of my scents, and I was so thankful that the Dafodyl is still in stock. There is something for everyone here, and you're bound to learn more about what scents work for you. I remember my first experience here in 2021 when I realized I am a "green" scent guy. This has been very helpful in my journey to collect more scents to wear, especially when traveling. You should also have this support! Maak curates dozens of products for notable brands and businesses in Portland. When you stop by here, I guarantee you'll be impressed by the connection to some of your favorite establishments. You can even purchase soaps, scents, candles, and many other products that brands you love to create with Maak. I still enjoy knowing that the Knot Springs soap I love is something I can purchase for home. Support local, and keep returning to the excellent Maak Lab team.

I went with two of my gfs and we had a wonderful time smelling SO many smells, learning about the history of fragrance, and making our own scents! If you're considering it, def do it!

There are departmental store like JC Penny, Macy's, Nordstrom and a huge Dick's store. Few other unique places to me were Din Tai Fung and 85C Bakery Cafe. It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. There was a good mix of popular and luxurious brands, offering wide range of products. The food court could use some facelift to match with rest of the wonderful interior of the mall.
