I am a huge fan of Bath & Body Works, purchased several $100's throughout the years from Hemet location. Now I'm driving to Perris to purchase products since they closed down location in Hemet Mall. Back in December, I accidentally left my wallet on counter while picking up an on-line order and according to surveillance cameras, they say I didn't, but I know I did. Either their employee took it or the lady behind me did. Of course, since it had a little over $150 and a Dooney & Burke wallet, of course, they didn't want to return it. Honestly, I didn't care about the cards, stamps or money, I just wanted my DL. if it was their worker, I am not one to sue anyone and if it was the lady behind me that they choose to protect such negligence. The employee Nyla was great, excellent customer service skills. There was a customer that was extremely difficult and rude and she was calm and friendly to the customer the entire time. I give her credit because she was super patient and this customer was extremely difficult. The manager working today as well was great even though they had a super difficult customer. read more

I loved BBW candles and brought them by the cases for years. After the Pandemic the scents has gotten so weak I had to exchange them, and the scent was still week. I reached out to Corporate Office and until this day still no responds. I will no longer purchase any candles from BBW. I have spoke will several other customers and they have the same problem. read more

I love this store! Every single one of the employees who work there are so kind and helpful. These ladies went above and beyond to assist my husband in getting a surprise gift for our 25th wedding anniversary, They took the time to listen to what he asking for, and helped him find the perfect gift. When we were there the day before the cashier gave my 5 year old her own special bag to carry her items in. It made her whole day that she had her own bag! It's extremely hit and miss at this particular location. The selection isn't bad at all it's the customer service that's off and on. Sometimes I'm greeted sometimes I'm not just depending on how busy it is. (Which doesn't bother me) it's the lack of product knowledge that gets me! When I ask for help they are always %100 oblivious to what I'm inquiring about. But most of the time they always ask, "can I help you find something?" (If you look lost.) Almost every time I go in and inquire about a product they do try and find it or ask someone for me, but most of the time even the person OR persons they ask have no idea what I'm talking about. So when I branch off to find something else, I find the product I was searching for in the first place. (Plug in fragrance/ and candle related) and I just can't get over how lost THEY seem all the time. Most of them are completely un aware how to use the app. But I don't want to lose the store so I will continue to support it. I do have some great experiences here sometimes. read more

I love bath and bodyworks. I shop here often. I love the hand soap. The new candles for every season. Unfortunately it just seems like every other time I come here there's an issue. It's always silly things and reasons why I "can't use a coupon", "it's not working" " it's already been used" I understand there are store policy and rules for coupon usage. But it's seems when I get rung up by the older cashier there's an issue. It never fails. It's also frustrating when the older employees are so pushy about having you download the app. I refuse to download it because I'm able to use my coupons from my email and I don't wanna take up space on my phone. It's the same coupon you have taped on the register. The codes don't change. Last visit was a nightmare. I was inn the night before getting some relaxation body washes before closing. I paid full price no problem. The cashier suggested I take a screenshot of my email coupon and use it next time since I had no service. I came in the next day got a bunch of things. When I was being rung up the cashier was really rude and mean to me for absolutely no reason. Even my sister noticed her bad attitude. I explained to her that I had a coupon and that I was advised to take a screenshot of it. She flipped on me and lectured me about having to download the app and who advised me to screenshot it. At this point I was in complete shock I couldn't believe what was going on. I explained to her that I didn't her her name but she was here the night before. It was closings time so I didn't make a big about the coupon so I decided to come in today and purchase the rest of the thing I needed. She was furious and demanded to know who she was. She tried scanning my coupon various time. She kept messing with the picture and was having a hard time. She flagged a manager down. At this point I was just embarrassed. I really just wanted to tell it's fine. The lady turned around and told her manager what the other employee had told me. Also commented that "this coupon had already probably been used. I probably got it off the internet. I was lying about not having service" I really just wanted to pay and leave. I showed her my cellphone and how I wasn't able to even see my email. BBW is a great store. I love their home fragrance section. The three wick candles are incredible. I've recently started buying their home sprays which work wonders also. My favorite part of their body collection is the aromatherapy line. I love the scrubs, the lotions, shower gels. EVERYTHING. So relaxing and such a great quality product. If you like to take relaxing baths you MUST MUST MUST try their aromatherapy line bubble bath. It is a thick luxurious bubble bath (especially if you have a jet tub, not necessary, but definitely helps). This is my absolute favorite product in their store. The Hemet location is clean, organized, and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They greet you as soon as you walk in, treat you to a new scent, and help you find whatever you're looking for. BBW home fragrances (wallflowers) are incredible and really can't be beat. Only problem is, the wallflower itself dies after about 2 or 3 uses. Butttt, the ladies here at the Hemet location are really nice to replace them for you if you bring in the used wallflower. It's hard to find good service in a shop operated by all females... because ya know, they can be really catty, but this BBW hired an amazing staff. This place can be so inconsistent with its customer service. Sometimes they greet you and let you shop in peace. Other times they follow you around the store giving information you didn't ask for or personal opinions on their favorite scents. I preferred it the one time I was completely ignored upon arrival as she chose to walk pass me and greet the women who came in behind me. Like I seriously wasn't even mad she was rude and unprofessional because I was free to browse. Honestly only their semi annual sales and clearance events are worth it. It is unfortunate the manager at this location does not hold true to the hours of operation posted. Case in point, I arrived to the store with five minutes to spare and was promptly "greeted" in my path by a female employee, who quickly stated they were closed. I saw no less than four people inside the store who were still shopping, then immediately looked at my watch, thinking I missed something in reference to the time. But no, they were still within their operating hours. I asked her if I could just grab something quickly, and she responded, no, advising she had turned away others prior to me for the same reason, as though that should make it okay or be some sort of consolation that she was turning away business during store hours. I walked back to my car, but still uneasy about the manner in which the situation was handled since I know from prior retail experience that similar stores generally are customer-based and want to ensure their hours of operation are just that, operation. I walked back inside of the "mall" and asked if she was the manager, which she acknowledged, and asked her name, which she responded was Sara(h). Ultimately, I don't blame the store, but rather lack of education when it comes to their hiring practices. Many businesses did not survive Covid and I'm rather certain Bath and Body Works would not be pleased with a manager turning away business during store hours. This is my new addiction at the moment. I absolutely love everything @ BBW. My faves are the Aromatherapy collection, the wallflowers and the candles. Every season, they have new candles and scents for the wallflowers. They always have great deals and coupons. Girls there are super nice and one time I brought in a coupon that wasn't valid and they accepted in anyways! YAY for Bath and Body Works. Please don't leave Hemet. Great products and staff. I am a frequent shopper here. A few days ago I was told about their rewards app which offers generous savings and free items. I signed up and received immediate discounts, and even a free birthday item. I tried to change my password on the app, which the website will not allow you to. I spent the next two and a half hours speaking to customer service agents who could not bother to recognize the issue. They kept sending me emails to reset my password, even though I told them the site would not allow me to do so. Finally a supervisor manually reset it for me on her end. I woke up this morning to another email reset password, which wiped out my current password, and now I am experiencing the same issue I had yesterday. On Saturday may 13 my children and I went to pick up a few gifts for mom. There was lots of people and we were patiently waiting for some one to help us with a question we had about an item. No one was available to help or so I thought., a few feet from us there was a lady and she was being helped by an employee by the name Valencia then one other Employee walks right by us totally ignored us and went to help the same lady that was being helped by the other employee. I guess she must have been special customer and need it 2 employees to help her. We had to approach one of them to ask what we need it to know. Went in a few weeks ago. Had to return a couple items and was getting more items. I had a 10$ off coupon. So initially I had spent about 30 dollars but since I was returning things and using a coupon they should have been giving me money back after using a coupon. Now their main goal of the store is to make you happy and satisfied. Only one woman in their cared to make me happy because the rest of them wanted to argue with me. Vanessa and some other woman ( didn't catch her name) decided to try to tell me I couldn't use a coupon because I was returning things and rebuying new things... Wait what?? Since when? Not only did they tell me I couldn't use my coupon they also pretty much pushed me out of the line while I was still talking by calling the next customer. Karen then went back and helped me and did it just like I knew it was supposed to be done. The other girls were so rude and obviously very pissed off that I went and asked someone else to do what they were supposed to do to begin with. I think the manager needs to teach them how to treat customers and not just shoo them out of line! Karen is amazing and had great customer service. But I will not return to this store. I got a gift card for Xmas and instead bought everything online Bc of those 2 girls that left a sour taste in my mouth. read more
