Carrying products that are over 8 months expired... came in on a road trip to grab something out of stock online since it's half off and my happiness at finding it was short-lived upon discovering how old it was. The staff are also in no hurry to help (walked the floor a few times before running down what looks like the only associate), and the cashiers are content to socialize for extended periods when there is clearly a line of people waiting. This location is horrible, always out of products, employees standing around jamming out to the music instead of being helpful. I asked two employees for products and they said oh no we're out if its not out there... one of them even went as far to say she checked earlier and they were out and continues standing there with her co worker talking ... I walked to another section and low and behold the exact product was there !!! The other employee I asked about another product said oh Idk you have to walk to the front and ask them???!!!! Like ok don't know what your earpiece is for . The one person who actually was helpful kept bringing me the wrong product . This is probably the WORST Ulta I've been to. The young lady behind the counter when I went in, her name is Ava, should not be in a customer service job. She did not greet me when I walked in. I literally looked over at the counter, saw her just gawking at me and I had to say hi first. When I got to the register with my purchases, she rushed me. This Ulta has a lot of things that I need, but the manager should have a chat about what customer service is with the employees. Every customer should be welcomed and greeted when they walk in. I got my haircut here by Araceli and she is AMAZING. I usually cut my own hair unless I want a new style but I had impulsively cut my bangs very choppy and needed them fixed asap. I told her that I just needed my bangs better blended and a trim to get the dead ends off and she did exactly that for me. I let her know that I normally part my hair to the side but put my hair up for work so I sometimes part it in the middle. She evened out and feathered my bangs into my haircut, and made my hair feel so healthy again! I felt so comfortable in her chair and she showed me my cut along the way so if I wanted more chopped off, I could let her know. Araceli was super thorough with my wash and my cut, and styled my hair so simple so I could actually see how my hair turned out. I've tried multiple times to shop this location as I live locally, but no one greets me, checks on me, offers assistance. However, I do see employees in huddles chatting about nothing work related. I've had to go to the register to check out and ask for things there and even then, the cashiers have zero interest or just dismiss my questions. I've worked retail for 12 years and I don't see this location lasting at all. I'd rather order online going forward, what a disappointment. read more

The staff at the register are great. I've had a better experience with them than any other employees here. Sometimes the staff on the floor can be too overwhelming when you're not looking for help, but when you do ask for help they rush to talk you into a singular product without asking preferences for the product, so it's likely it will be returned. It also feels like they're out of stock A LOT on products that the store carries. Those aren't even the reasons I'm making this review. I wouldn't have left a review for those alone, but it adds to the overall experience of this store. My complaint is the salon. I have been going to Sylver for about a year and the only thing consistent about her is that she never keeps her appointments. After every appointment I book ahead 6-8 weeks. I've had her reschedule more times than actually being seen on the appointment date. And who knows when the appointment will be rescheduled. This means I have gone to work looking unprofessional waiting for her to be available. What makes this worse is that she double books to make up for never being there. I understand if you know how to do it properly, but ruining your client's hair for extra money makes you look terrible. Bleach sat longer on my hair than it should have causing unnecessary damage, toners were left on for extended periods of time which darkened my hair, and I was constantly left in the shampoo bowl for way longer than I should have. All while she was applying color, blow drying, and shampooing other clients. The color and toner process should be watched closely. They are chemicals after all. To add to that, because I was waiting for her while she worked on other clients, I was there significantly longer than I would have been if it was just me. Her work as a cosmetologist is so inconsistent. She definitely never went off of my reference photo. She just did whatever she wanted and ultimately I ended up settling and picking something different. It's difficult to find a new stylist and my time is limited, so I just kept going back. This last time she cancelled (and then took it upon herself to reschedule me at a time she chose without talking to me) made me decide to not go back. It is so incredibly disrespectful to schedule someone two months out and at the LAST minute cancel...every appointment. Committing to spend 6 hours at the salon already takes away from what little free time I have, and then cancelling the night before or the morning of takes away from plans I could have made instead. If I continuously scheduled appointments with her and cancelled on her the night before or the morning of, that would affect her income and she probably wouldn't appreciate it. I don't feel comfortable coming to this location at all now. Maybe I'll do a pick up order if I really want something, but I'll probably just go to a different location read more

This is my hometowns ulta, every time i come in i feel as though im being treated like someone who is stealing when im not. I work in retail and i know what kind of protocol stores follow when they assume someone is going to steal. To feel that way each time i come in sucks, being followed around, being asked if im doing okay every 2 minutes. Last time I went, there were 2 employees who were just talking about their drama about some other girl that they work with and I was waiting right next to them for help. I felt like I was an inconvenience and they just looked at me as if I was annoying. There was another lady here who I received help from but I don't see her anymore. She was super sweet and kept checking on me. I hate that I feel judged when I go in there and as if I am stealing things bc they just watch you and look at you bc you're spending soooo much time in there. I came to this location about an hour before closing just expecting to drop off an item for returns. I explained to the person at the register that I was also interested in learning to fill in my brows. She set me up with Celeste. Celeste sat me down and walked me through which products to use and filled in one brow for me. Since she is a great teacher, she had me fill in the other one myself to practice. Obviously the one she filled in was much better. I felt very comfortable with her! She was so patient, helpful and kind. All the staff were amazing, but Celeste exceeded my expectations. read more

I've been to many Ultas and this location right here is yet the best one. Sylver was my hairdresser and let me tell you I showed her a photo of what I wanted and it came out identical if not better than what I showed her. Not only was my hair exactly what I wanted and expected but she was very kind, funny, and honest about the reality of what she can do for my hair! She made me feel really comfortable and confident it was very therapeutic. Great customer service, not so great quality at the hair salon. My daughter went in for a TRIM and highlights and came back home in tears. When asked if she wanted a trim she said yes and at least two inches were taken off, making her hair significantly shorter. Then when it got to the whole reason we made this appointment, the highlights, my daughter was told she needed a 4 month treatment before beginning the bleaching process. I have never heard such a thing. I am not sure if this is what they do at their salon to get more money or what but it caused a lot of unnecessary stress as she needed her hair to be done that day. Ive gone into this location about 5 times and ALL 5 times they were out of the products I was looking for so the store is useless to me. Online at ulta.com review- horrible!!! I've order stuff online twice because they didn't have the stuff in store and BOTH orders had major things wrong. First order every single powder makeup in the order was broken to dust and was everywhere. Second order the box of 5 mascaras I bought, I opened, and 1 mascara was missing. The box was still sealed too so it had to be from the factory. Where's there quality control people?!? Customer service number review: Jesus...The lady picked up and sounds like she's sound asleep and says "uuuhhhhh helllllllo". I had to question if this was Ulta. I told her my problem and gave her all my info and order number. She tells me she has my order in front of her she'll take a look, asks if I can hold. I'm on hold for at least 10 mins then she comes back on, laughs a few times, then asks for my order number so she can pull up my order.....?!? I moved from LA and had the same hairdresser for many years. I am a person who is afraid of change so naturally, I was reluctant and nervous to try a new Salon for the first time.However my sister in law highly recommended Ulta Beauty Hair Salon and by far they exceeded by expectations. The service is amazing the minute you walk in the door, greeted with a smile. They offered me water while I waited. My new hairdresser, Alexis gave me the most amazing haircut. She gave me just what I asked for. I asked for long layers, a natural look. I told her that I wanted wash and go natural healthy hair. She gave me beautiful bouncy layers and my hair felt so healthy. It shined beautifully and the curls gave me that old Hollywood look. During a pandemic it is also very nice to know they are very clean and sanitizing everything and following CDC guidelines. I felt very comfortable, safe and especially with Alexis with her bubbly cheerful personality. The best part was when I got home, my husband who never compliments me told me how beautiful I looked with my Marilyn Monroe haircut. 5 stars for Ulta Beauty staff especially Alexis. The professionalism and excellent customer service they provided is remarkable. Alexis made a person with low self esteem feel like a million bucks and that is priceless! Thank you! read more

I had an order pick up right now and waited for forever for them to come to my car. They never did and so I called three times just for no one to answer. I was in PJs and really didn't want to walk in. I finally did and 1: there were no customers inside the store and 2: three of the workers were just sitting there talking to each other. Ummm literally just had the BEST experience at this location with Raelynn. I was returning a fenty beauty duo highlight when she took me to the gondola and asked what look I was going for. I told her I love to wear a lot of bronzer so the color I picked didn't look nice layered on top. She swatched a bronzer that matched me and layered several highlighters on top to show me what they would look like. I have never in my life have gotten such outstanding service. I felt like she was passionate about makeup and excited to help me, I didn't even ask for her help actually and she offered her expertise. She was so sweet and genuine. I placed an order online and went in to pick it up. When I ordered it I got a notification that it would be ready within a couple of hours. Within 15 minutes of getting that notification, I got a text saying my order was ready for pickup. I was a little disappointed that when I got there they were not offering curbside because I was in super lazy mode, but no biggie. When I walked into the store it was super clean and organized. I've been to other Ulta locations where it seems like everything is just shoved in and cramped. This location is very nicely spread out and spacious. I walked through the store quickly since I was in leggings, slippers, and no make up! I was very happy with the layout and cleanliness. The pick-up area is right up front and was super easy. Just walk up, give your name and ID, and get your stuff. The girl working was super sweet, and she even opened up my order to make sure everything was correct before I left the store. I really appreciated that. I am looking forward to going back when I am a little more put together and have more time to peruse the aisles. Haha read more

I've never walked into this store and been put into a bad mood, it's retail therapy but the attitude radiating off the associates at this establishment is piss poor. I was trying to ask if they had anything in the back and the associate just continues to walk away from me as if she doesn't hear me !! That was rude, I brushed it off. She then just says "if it's not there we don't have it" and I get it I bet they get the same question all day. But there's no reason to not deliver on customer service.
