As long as Seana works here, I cannot recommend this place! I was at the Great Clips in the Oak Valley Town Center in Beaumont, CA on the evening of Feb 21st 2025, and I had a very bad experience! I was physically assaulted with a hair buzzer by Seana! Unfortunately, I did not record the exact times, but I do recall that I checked in online a little after 5:30pm. My estimated wait time was around 68 minutes and I showed up to the salon sometime after 6:30pm. There were only two stylists working when I got there. I was ignored by the two stylists when I walked in so I proceeded to just sit down because I saw that my name was already number two on their list. When it was my turn, Seana skipped me and called for another waiting customer. I politely said, "Excuse me, I believe I'm next on the list." Seana apologized and took me in instead. During the haircut, she spoke like a professional but her actions were not. I could tell she was very livid at me for correcting her. She didnt smile nor was she being conversational. She was very rough with the buzzer and she didn't round out the edges. After the excruciating haircut was over, she said she needed to "fix" my hairline a little and that's when she assaulted the back of my neck with the buzzer! She made three or four very rough strokes with the buzzer on my neck! The strokes left my neck with an extremely terrible sting! I'm surprised I wasn't bleeding! I do NOT appreciate what she did but I didn't want to make a scene. Seana needs to be investigated and fired for her unprofessional temper and practice! read more

I have been going to this shop for many years now and not once has a coupon been turned away or my history then removed in the past few occasions I've noticed service starting to reduce and it seems that stylist are not attentive to their customers. They don't listen and all they do is use the excuse the franchise owner is making changes. I don't know if I'll be back to this location or not. This is very unfortunate. read more

If you call up and ask them if they take coupons, they say yes but when you get there, they say no I do not recommend this place sports clips charges the same price plus gives you a free shampoo, massage and mustache trim for the same price. They already charge $24 for a haircut and this location no longer offer a US Veterans a discount. Haircuts are expensive as it is. The discount was only $2, but I always gave it right back as a tip and often more on top of that. *All of the other Great Clips in the area offer Veterans discounts on haircuts.* Bad decision Great Clips of Beaumont. Our family is three generations deep with US service members. I hope that the management of this location rethinks this. As for now, my family and I will go elsewhere. read more

I have a difficult time trusting stylists because they normally don't listen to what I say and what I want. I think they get a little bit rambunctious and just do what they think looks good. I went to Great Clips in Cherry, Valley and I had the pleasure of having Alexis cut my hair. I told her exactly what I wanted, no layers, no shaving this is the way I wear my hair I just wanted an inch to an inch and a half shorter. She listened! My kid is literally TERRIFIED of haircuts. I have no idea why, but they have always been a nightmare. I dread going every time because he makes a scene. Service at this place just seems to be getting worse. Today I went in after checking in online and the app said it was a 15 minute wait. When I arrived just over 10 minutes later, I walk in and there was still a 15 minute wait with two people ahead of me. Two women were working but not on customers. They were instead working on a wig. I sat there for ten minutes and left. The funny thing is after I walked out, I went next door to Stater Brothers and my phone rang. It was one of the two women calling to tell me they were ready for me. Needless to say Kim was not working. When she is working this kind of nonsense doesn't go on. I happen to be ultra picky with my hair just because it's long it's fine it shows every mistake if there is any. I had the pleasure of having Stevie cut my hair. she took her time had patience with me and knew exactly what I wanted. I really enjoyed the fact that she didn't let me leave with this soaking wet head and she put a little bit of product in it just to tame my hair. I definitely would recommend Stevie for anybody who wants a great haircut by someone who is extremely informative and won't rush your haircut as in to get you in and out. My cousin came in to great clips on Beaumont Ave and was helped by Andrea around 4:37pm. Her attitude was atrocious. I'm not sure what her problem was but she was giving my cousin so much attitude and she didn't do his haircut properly. We had to wait another 15-25 minutes because she had already taken another client after for her to redo his cut. As soon as she sat him down she was very haughty about having to do his cut again. She only began to fix her attitude when I came and sat by and watched her perform her service. I'm not sure if she was prejudiced because of my cousins tattoos or that he is a person of color. I went today and Kim did exactly what I wanted. A ton of layers! Every time I ask for layers most people seem scared to chop away. I always inform them too no worries I'm not attached to my hair. (I just want it to look nice once curled) I usually just let it grow and chop it all off to donate but in the in between time I enjoy layers so I can curl when leaving down. My last hair cut was about 6 months ago so I was past due. My hair looks and feels 10000 times better. I'm so happy I found her! I was able to tell I was going to love it half way through. She said she could get me in right away and a few minutes later said it would be an hour wait (bc people who made apts started showing up which I understood) I asked her to put my name down and I'd be back in around an hour for my haircut. And the most annoying thing of all that seems to have been drummed into the workers is that they NEVER greet you properly when you arrive. Called in this morning to ask for an appointment. I was asked to used there online check in service. And was not given any other information. After checking in. I was given a 20 min estimation wait time. I drove right over. As I walked in, I was informed that the check in system was down and that they were only accepting cash. Most places I shop, keep from handling cash. So, I was not prepared. It would have been nice to receive this information before showing up. Wow! Went here on a Saturday and even though the seats were full both of my kids got in within 5 minutes. I made sure to check in online about 5 minutes beforehand. CINDY did an amazing job on my daughter's angled bob. Not an easy cut! She took her time and did a perfect job! I was charged nine dollars more for haircut when I asked for beard trim to round the bottom of my neck line and beer line and trim my mustache I asked Angelica my haircut person if it looks like my ears are fine and she said yes before she even cut it and I said why did you charge me for a haircut when I asked for a beard trim which is five dollars and I pay $16 fr a $30 gift card she said because she trimmed the lines of my sideburns which is part of my beard she charge me nine dollars extra for a beard trim and I feel possibly it's because she wasn't going to get a tip they were laughing when I came back to ask him about it when I walked through the door and instead of making a scene I decided to walk away and complain to the company but these people rip you off for beard trim in the picture of me in the car that's before the picture of me after making this complaint that's after read more
